This was two months ago, but i would say maybe u are spending too much time on the Internet interacting with ppl who clearly upset you. Isnt this channel about programming, Linux, AzerothCore and running ur own private server/Solo Server? You're American i assume, u should be acutely aware that the "black culture" is what the whites gave to them, to keep them as slaves, Black Culture is American Culture. Looked over the discord messages and Nirv is definitely abrasive but you can't argue he's wrong. This stuff is not really explained, it's very frustrating and the people in the discord are pretty unwilling to help.

I don't get it, I've made it work when it was mariadb but ever since its mysql i cant connect. Have re done it 3 times and still no luck. Am I a tard?

I followed your instructions for VirtualBox and got that running with the wow client, and then decided I wanted to open up my clients (tablet and laptop) running on my proxmox server. I followed the instructions by Digital Scriptorium (DS) on making Azerothcore in a container and it works. It doesn't have bots. I noticed your post about bots in DS comments, but he doesn't want to add bots. I see this video and tried to make a VM with Debian 12 but the client doesn't allow me into the realm. After searching for the answer, it dawned on me that your installation script (was updated) and designed for VirtualBox, meaning everything was constructed network wise as a local entity or VM. I tried to join the lessons learned in DS instructions into your instructions as I wanted playerbots. Now I am trying again to create a VM in Proxmox with Windows 10 running a VM in VirtualBox and playing via RDP. I'm sure there is an easier way, and if you are running playerbots on Azerothcore on a proxmox VM, I should be able to. Please can you make an edited installation text so I can make a Azerothcore playerbot server available on a VM in Proxmox, so I can do something interesting while staying at my grilfriend's house (like levelling up). I hope you can help. Thank you for your videos and instructions.

Hey! Great work nirv, thanks for the vids! :) I'm having trouble getting the bots to be active where I'm not existing within the game world. The bots goes <away> and stops any activity in areas where I'm not currently at. Is it possible to have them remain active throughout the world without any player 'updating' them nearby? For example, when I'm in Elwynn the bots functions as they should there. But all other bots in Dun Morough, Teldrassil etc just stands still afk. If i log into a char at Teldrassil then they start functioning there but stops elsewhere etc.

This might be a silly question and ive probably overlooked this somewhere, its been some time since ive played WoTLK but is there a addon we can use to see the party quest progression, i understand we have the Bot control option but i dont feel like spamming that constantly to see which AI-Bot has completed a quest

The whole thing about Linux info never being straightforward is really unfortunate. Been a long time getting into Linux to the point where I'm comfortable these days, but incomplete info is seriously a turn off and almost killed it for me. Dude sometimes you get a lot of static voice from your mic. It most likely is the fans of your computer. Its not disturbing at all but as someone working in the 3D art and audio design business I can catch it immediately. You don't have to it's not bad like many others' and I highly doubt any knucklehead will ever hear it but you might want to consider a ground loop isolator (GLI). Its like $5~10 but it will make that static audio of your recording room go away. Of course considering you have a studio XLR mic and a mixer. If its a headphone it will only work with analog 3.5mm jack. If this sounds interesting and you are willing to make that small investment for better audio make sure to connect it to where the voice flow ends, meaning the best way to connect it to the end of your mic providing device's jack (even if it's a headset) so sound waves will travel all the way down through the cable and you remove the static right before it connects to the PC 👍🏻 Don't bother if you're using wireless mics or digital audio. At that point you can only isolate/emit the PC case but that's a problem for thermals or you can put some noice cancellation filters on your recording software but that will reduce your audio quality as well so w/e 😅

I'm trying to be a nice guy and help people make sense of your software that is missing all the important steps to even get it running for the average person. But I'm nuts. dude, I have installed MC and I feel like a hacker xD, ty for the tools and the guides!!! I think I dont update the server until I know how to do a proper backup, and also will install in another VM. Last week mysql was update and that broke the server until I figure out I got to build again the files.

Thanks bud. I modified my update alias to do a git pull and an echo with the module name for each module. Then it will update each module or simply print “mod-ah-bot Already up to date.” Then I know if I need to go in and modify conf files. Man, thanks for the tip on how to compare and modify the conf files in Windows. Thats handy. It gets aggravating to manually copy and edit the files every time.

OOPS! I had these set too high. I lowered them to this and I was able to add classes again. AiPlayerbot.MinRandomBots = 500 AiPlayerbot.MaxRandomBots = 800

we need a tutorial on how to make enemies aggressive and not neutral... they just stand there and not retaliate when attacked :P doesnt happen all the time but its annoying and theres no real guide.. on the botless azerothcore WoTLK they dont even attack back xD
