I'm using a Fanatec DD Pro (8Nm) Wheel base, CSL BMW Steering Wheel, ClubSport V3 Pedals, ClubSport V1.5 Shifter + V1 Handbrake, and a Next Level Racing GTLite Pro Cockpit. I also use Next Level Racing's HF8 Haptic Pad for some extra immersion

Making this kind of stuff really is a great time! I'd highly recommend giving it a go!

Yeah man, the features on this game are genuinely so cool. You can legit setup just about any kind of race you can dream up

It's not.being sold anywhere. I hope someday it can be immulated like ppl do with old games or whatever i do know it stopped being sold due to licensing expiring or being lost after EA bought SLIGHTLY MAD STUDIOS and killed the franchise on purpose

Yeah unfortunately like MaximusPerryy said, it’s not legally being sold anywhere from my understanding. You can still buy a used disc version on consoles I think, but PC is kinda out of luck

Honestly, yes, extremely fun, even with all of the destruction! I absolutely love the chaos in some of these races lol I wish I could say I wasn't also the one causing chaos, but obviously that would be untrue lol

I've never played much ACC as I can't get it to run in VR worth a crap, but I absolutely love how the rain looks in iRacing

Yeah same with me as well. Even with all the downsides of VR, it's impossible for me to go back to a flat screen lol

Yeah no problem! So I actually use something called Oculus Mirror which displays exactly what your headset sees with custom settings (including stabilization) in a separate window. I then use OBS to record just the Mirror window. The Mirror application should already be on your computer if you're using quest. It'll be in your Oculus folder under - Program files>Oculus>Support>Oculus Diagnostics - It's a bit confusing to set up and it starts at 720p, though you can change it to 1080 which is what I have it at. I'd recommend looking up a setup video as it's kind of a pain lol if you have any questions or problems with it feel free to reach out and hopefully I can help

Do you know if screen space reflections are turned on for you? It seems to be unplayable with that on for me, but if it’s off, it’s a pretty solid experience

Yeah it’s in some sort of pop out menu I think where you can turn it on or off depending on whether it’s raining or not. With it on, it no joke takes my GPU from 40-60% headroom down into the negatives

It's a bit of a long story, but I've always enjoyed racing games, and I've been a MASSIVE fan of VR ever since the first PSVR came out. GT sport gave me both my first taste of competitive racing and my first VR sim experience. It didn't completely grab hold of me, but when GT7 came out with full VR support, it was over lol 2 weeks of online racing in VR had me buying a whole Fanatec setup last black friday. I then looked for the most serious sim title I could find, and it happened to be iRacing. Absolutely love it!

@costangracing Wow, that is an awesome story thx for sharing that with me I been watching other TH-camrs. Sim racing and the domt have the energy u do, and that is what gets me excited to watch ur videos thx for posting ur videos, and I love to see more. I also love vr games and racing. My first vr game was The Power Glove, and again thx for sharing that with me, and keep up the work u get to 1k subs before you know it.

I really love making these videos so I'm grateful when I hear that people are enjoying them! I appreciate you watching! I don't think I've ever heard of The Power Glove so that's definitely something I'll have to look into when I get the chance

Yeah I've also noticed after D class it's quite a bit trickier to gain safety rating especially compared to road cars. It might just be that I'm not good at oval though lol
