I explore deserts and mountains located in the Rocky Mountain West, with an emphasis on the state of Utah. I seek ancient American Indian Dwellings, Petroglyph and Pictograph sites, Spanish Mining Locations and treasure lore, Treasure Cache Sites, Mountain Man/Fur Trapper activities and points of interest, Pioneer Cabins and Homesites.
I practice and preach a method that involves documenting these old sites, while not disturbing or altering anything. Being respectful and mindful of the people who came before us and left these wonderful sites for us to enjoy and appreciate in modern times. Leaving everything intact and undisturbed, so future generations can experience and enjoy these sites in their original conditions.
I incorporate a wide variety of music in my videos, with an emphasis on classical instruments, folk music and/or ethnic music from the old world. As I hike the mountains and deserts, I show footage of beautiful natural scenery and wildlife.

Thanks for the awesome video and all the information 👍👍👍👍👍
Places like these are a universal testimony of pictorial expressions of people living in those areas thousands of years ago. It's too sad the markings made by stupids having no respect for them..
hmmm fire setting defo gonna try this just for shits n giggles oplus itsd always funs to start fires

I don’t believe the Natives were ignorant of the metals value to the Spanish and Mayans.

Thank you for your educational video.
Very interesting! Thanks from an old prospector's daughter. I've really enjoyed this.
I'm from New Mexico south of Santa Fe and I have found many carved in sandstone especially the crosses with the dot above slightly to the right seems like a common symbol. The placements must have been common so that the priests could find it easily when they found it
I have a copy called waybill to Spanish mines and treasures about Utah and the Mormon gold Lost Rhodes mines. Thank you for your images. They correlate nicely with some of the ones from the old books
There's a natural cave in sandstone that was modified by Spanish with a 15-ft obelisk in the Wash in front of it was mostly filled just like this pack rat nest. I dug the pack rat nest out for 35 ft and in the back there was a 11-in Crystal phallus
Incredible and informative video really enjoyed it from Canada.
Great Videos
ya notice what looked like stome steps at about 3:15?
I really enjoy your videos. Great content! I feel like their is a lot of BS about the Spaniards in the Uintah MTNS but you lay down the facts and I really appreciate that. Keep the videos coming!
I totally agree with you about the BS. It seems like it get's worse and worse, especially now with all the outsiders getting in on the act and the reality tv shows. I grew up on the Reservation and know first hand how the Indians like to tease/embellish treasure stories for their gullible white audiences and even each other. Any Indian who might have known something is long dead and their secrets died with them. Keep in mind, most of the Utes came from the Wasatch Front or Colorado and were transplanted to the U&O Reservation in the 1860's after the Meeker Massacre and Brigham Youngs request to the Federal Government after settling the valleys west of the Wasatch Range. Very few Utes actually belonged to the Uinta Band (One time I researched and found the old Ration Documents and Census Counts that were used by the Indian Agency during that time period). Keep in mind all the Ute Bands were consolidated and grouped into the three Bands you have today. Originally there were many more. Read Chief Ouray's history, it is very sad. He was a very good man, leader and extremely intelligent. He's probably my favorite Old Indian. Growing up my best friend lived in Whiterocks (the tribal part) and we would always stay at each others house (spend the night). His dad and Grandpa are quoted in different "Treasure Books" (they were both Indian Game Wardens at different times) and good men. One of the authors who wrote some of the "Treasure Hunting Books" you and I grew up reading, would often talk to my friends wino neighbor to get "stories" for his books. The stories were all made up of course, but the author didn't care. He was getting stories from an "Indian" and that sales books. The neighbor was an alcoholic and the author would give him money for beer. My friends dad confronted the author about collecting nonsense Spanish Treasure stories and "Indian Clues" for his books, even though he knew they were nonsense. I shit you not, the author replied, "if I relied on true stories my books would only be 20-30 pages long" and saw no harm in publishing non-sense stories. Think of the hundreds of people who read (and continue to read) these stories in their favorite Treasure Hunting books and spend countless weekends chasing made up myths from a drunk Indian. I could go on, but it's pointless. I guess in the end it's harmless fun and it get's people off the couch and enjoying our beautiful mountains. Thanks again for the comment and I noticed you have a channel yourself, I will take a look this weekend and watch your videos.
@@LowBudgetExploration I believe historical newspapers were guilty of this too lol. You just need to read with a good pair of BS glasses.
I did enjoy your videos
military has software that can pinpoint a locate of any mountain in the world with just by a partial skyline picture of a it, this tech was developed during the afgan war so when the enemy would film their troops they knew exactly where they were, If you want no one to find a location don't show any of the skyline.
Geronimo came from a 300 year old spanish heritage, he speak spanish, he was even christian, because the spanish crown were in north america for 300 years before the english came for the first time and call the spanish native american citizens "savajes".. He crossed himself like a Christian and spoke in Spanish? He rode horses taught by Spaniards? He used Spanish rifles? Was he really a savage? LOL NO, he was a native that assimilated spanish culture like all the americans since 1492 🤦♂

I'll bet 10 to 1 that these rock monuments are part of the three separate uses of the USGS 66 foot long chaining in the - 1870's - 1890's - 1910's, that were leap frogged across the west when the USGS Surveyed the Western US. There are either two or three rock monuments sitting off line from the 66 foot chaining of north and south, for being exactly triangulated on exact east to west bearings. Some are even still listed on County Land Use Plaques for easy location of the steel pipes with brass tags on top, showing the exact township, range, sections, and quarter sections needed for commerce and governmental mapping of lands. The Spanish did not leave behind trail markers for Indians to read and follow, setting up easy ambushing, that the handful of supposed Spanish Experts have been stating over the past six decades. The Spanish used geological land markers memorized without carrying around maps that could be found and used against them presently or on future Spanish endeavors. Also, beware of anyone stating they have studied the Old Spanish Maps and Documentations, because at the beginning of the Spanish Revolution all Spanish Maps and Documentations were sealed away. Some believe everything was burned up, while others say they were sealed like mummies and secretly buried without anybody alive today knowing where the records were buried. The supposed reason for burying the records was to protect Spain's future claims on treasure loaded shipwrecks and settled or conquered lands, which I believe is possible because of the way land and shipwreck disputes have been settled in the last 200 years.
When was this "Copper Age" you mentioned?
The Copper Age was thousands of years ago. In the video I refer to the Industrial Revolution, which "for the most part" occurred in the later 1700's to early 1800's.
23:02 anyone else notice that little bear looking thing on that tree that looks white almost? its towards the top right on the tree in this picture.
as a boy, i’m in my 80’s now, my cousin and uncles,(by marriage),would catch wild horses and tame them and take them to the auctions in the western stock yards. That kinda looked like a horse catching camp.
I never thought of that. There is tons of wild horses in the area, so you never know.
Thankyou for your films, awesome. Peace from Northern Ireland.

There rifles in the boxes unfortunately weren't designed to create an Eddie effect behind them like modern designs, plus the flow they had got big surges blowing gold out.But still smart how they improvised and we're able to move alot of material. Another great video! 😊

Very interesting, new subscriber
Fascinating vid, thanks 👍 Appreciate you can't give reference points, but are u travelling far on your hikes between signs? I just wonder how far apart these clues can be spread before they loose accuracy??
Most are less than a thousand yards from each other. I've been to some sites where they are less than 100 yards from each other. Mainly depends on the terrain. Wide open areas, they will be further spaced. Closed in areas, they will be closer spaced. I know where one site is carved on a rock that depicts a lake 10 miles away.
