To Nicole, Girl!!!!! Congratulations! I love listening to you. keep it up!

To the writer, it may take few months for some, it may take longer for few people to get over a break up. It varies perhaps on how deep the relationship was or how much you have invested yourself into the relationship. Take it from someone who waited for 16 years, naging martyr, naging mapagbigay hoping that everything will align eventually, but it didn’t. We were not married on those years and I was hoping that if I hold onto it, if I will wait maybe the path will change, but it didn’t. So, take it from me, it will pass, that guilt of initiating the break up, it wasn’t an easy decision for sure, but you were brave enough to face the truth. And if it need more months to get that over, take it. What I did, was to focus on myself, what were the things I have been wanting to do and had already the time to do so. And yes, if you plan on wanting to meet other people, go out and have fun. You have a good life ahead of you, and the break up should not stop you from focusing on yourself. Cause sometimes you have to be selfish to fill your cup.
