We change our minds because we have to - it’s for our survival. But I don’t think we talk a lot about the relationships we lost throughout the process especially our friendships. Some of the people we thought were our constant after a decade or two sadly were not who we thought they were. Unfortunately, there are people we have to let go in order for us to reach our healthiest physical and mental state. I think, the struggle for change is the scary idea that in the end, we are wrong all along and also the shame that comes with it. It’s the feeling of personally shaking your foundation and having the question - is it worth it? Thanks for triggering the thought about change and for sharing what was going on inside your head during the solo convo - that’s hard ah!❤
I'm at 10:36 in the pod. My comfort food is not something unique. I don't use delivery apps always but when I do eat out, I just eat fried chicken from Jollibee, KFC or Owwo. Fries from Potato corner. Filipino spaghetti and peach mango pie from Jollibee. Chinese or Taiwanese noodles. Ice cream, graham float and leche flan which you can buy at the grocery. Oh and definitely Rose Samyang buldak which I buy on online apps or korean stores. That's all I can think of right now. 😅
Oh right I forgot japanese ramen from Boteyju and definitely Pizza from Angel's or Pizza Hut. Tomorrow is my birthday so I will definitely order Jollibee and a Pizza. 💗
O speaking of white chocolates. I changed my mind and I love milk chocolate more. It started when I loved white chocolate Toblerone and now I love Ferrero milk chocolate. And on that note, I love the milk chocolate varaints of Pan de Manila's donuts rather than the white chocolate but I loved the white chocolate ones at the start too. I also changed my mind when my grandma started eating wheat bread. We were like white bread is much more tasty but after a year, I much more likely to eat wheat pandesal from Pan de Manila than regular ones. 🥹😅
I feel your saying here is the freedom of choice that even though we have our favorites or first choices, we can still change our minds. Change is inevitable so it is okay to change our minds. It is not 'wala kang isang salita' it is being true to what you really want and feel.
Omg same thoughts about basic adulting courses 🥲 especially about the taxes. It’s so hassle! When we reach adulthood, we just need to figure it out when they could have introduce the basics of it like how to file, when to file. It should be incorporated during highschool years because no matter what courses/profession we end up, we still need to deal with taxes. 😢🥲
