Great video. I have a 2003 HJ100 4.2TDI with the 4 speed auto trans. I have heard the 4 speed gearbox does not handle the additional power and torque coming from the Unichip upgrade not werll. Would you recommend going for the Unichip with the 4 speed auto transmission ?

I can confirm, that the MAP sensor hose was certainly connected at the time of this engine conversion 😊

Why don’t you guys install a methanol/water injection kit? My research suggests benefits are: More power with economy. Keeps engine cleaner (reduced carbon buildup), Keeps EGT’s lower. The major negative is, you need to keep the reservoir topped up. However you do not need to use methanol if you don’t want to. Oh, in case you are thinking to use 100% methanol….no no no, highly flammable. Max is 50:50.

So if Denso is correct it makes you wonder were the so called Genuine Denso 30% etc tips are made??? I currently run a Safari air max into a modded factory air filter housing - there is a small ‘air hose’ that fits to a small intake pipe on the lid of the stock filter housing. Is there a provision on your air box for this hose?
