Continuing the series. Using the seal, measurements were taken so that a tool could be fabricated using Freecad and printed out on my Bambulabs printer. After much care in the cleaning and inspection of all parts the first tube was reassembled. After filling with oil it was tested and shown to be good.

Upon removing the second fork tube for rebuild it became apparent that the neck bearings were destroyed and all of the top of the front suspension would need to be redone. Stripping down the neck as the fork tube parts soaked, it was found that the end cap was loose on the threads.
Jason came by and helped with a solution for the fender and speedo guide cable.
