We're fans of his channel too. We met him in January at the RV Supershow in Tampa, and we have been running into him at shows since then. He is a funny guy, and very knowledgeable about everything RV. As you can see, he is quite the prankster.
Good question. The cabin heating is usually handled by the A/C unit unless the temperature drops below a certain level under the thermostat setting. (Usually around 5 degrees F). If the RV is equipped with a furnace, then that will engage to provide heat using the electrical and propane systems. Either shore power or generator depending upon what is being used at the time. Two things bother me with the Entegra and Jayco floorplans. Seating/bed setup isn't as flexible as ones like the Winnebago Pivot. Also, a bathroom next to the door means insulation better be good.
It's remarkable how the little differences between the brands in these small vans makes such a huge impact. We agree about the insulation. The bathroom is not the place where you want a draft. Thanks for the comment.
We spent a lot of time trying to find differences between the two, but if we were going to purchase one of these, we would go with whatever one had the lowest price tag.
Got any reasons y jayco is kicking out identical models with different names? I find it kinda asinine 🤪, lol. And I like the vans that have the bed at the back, n storage underneath n definitely not the N.American side wetbaths that look like a long giant closet but would have to be the europeans version of a wetbath, fold away shower idea, takes up half the space, hate the un-innovative NA closet looking side wetbath. 🍻
It is interesting that they have different names, but they all are using the same platform. The best answer we can get is that it has something to do with the distribution rules. We're not really certain what that means, but it seems there is some kind of anti-trust or similar agreement between manufacturers and dealers that necessitates the multiple branding. It appears to be geographical as well. Totally agree with you on the bathrooms. Thanks again for the post.
I guess the question is: If some of our viewers were interested in buying one of these Class B vans personalized for their needs, who would be the best independent builder in your opinion. Just curious.

What a nice surprise to see you two on Matt’s video

That ground level drawer by the seats in the 20t was DOVE TAILED. WHOO HOO
Ha ha. At least they are trying. We're getting a bit tired of going on and on about those darn stapled drawers.
Awesome informative video!
Thanks! We appreciate it.
Shower mizer in wet athletic is nice to prevent wasting water
Yes, we have one in our Wayfarer, and it is a really nice feature.
Whats the Heating system does it use a generator?

Any update on a fix for your own rv?
We should have an update next Friday. Stay tuned...

Wow!
Jayco comet same as entegra arc

Jayco arc comes with portable induction cook top stored in the jump seat along with the blue tooth speaker I believe..don't like Jensen electronics
Thanks for the information. We agree about the audio and prefer the Alpine and JBL systems to the Jensen.

Entegra fail.
The could have competed with Tiffin and Winnebago Revel. The can do better.
We agree with you. Dan is a big fan of those off-road class B vans. Entegra does have the Launch, but Dan is partial to the Revel.
Don’t buy from an RV manufacturer
Are you suggesting a custom build? If so, what do you recommend?

What do you plan to do?

Mod Vans is another interesting option
