Every came out great but that ugly plate holder in the back but i understand the whole oem stuff but after all that im not putting that black plastic thing bac on deff gettin a undertail an rear hugger to make it look clean back there
Meant to ask.. Are they repainted oem fairing panels, or aftermarket?
They are aftermarket, sadly the ones that that came on it when I got it were already aftermarket so I didn’t have a chance to repair the oem ones
Have literally just done the carbs on my 1999 Blade.. The bike hadn’t been used for 4 years so they were a mess. I purchased a sonic bath for the float needles, jets and bowls.. but I wish I had bought a bigger bath so I could fit the entire carb bodies in.. With a few other 90s sport bikes, the Fireblade was a little neglected, but she’s all sorted now 👍🏼 Love the colour scheme…which we didn’t get in the UK. Mine is red, with the purple RR side panels. Good job on the restoration 👏🏼😎
That’s awesome, I’ve always loved the red and purple scheme!
Pas de chaîne avec attache rapide sur une moto de cette cylindrée. Gros problèmes à venir...
Wow came out great
Thanks!
What build do you guys want to see next? Another restoration? Or another custom build? Drop comments below

Brilliant looking bike , well done 👍
Sick build man but were did you find that body panel
It’s a custom made panel, in some of my other videos you can see how I made it!
Turned out cool and very tuff looking! Nice work!
Thanks!
To each their own.
That’s my favorite color I been waiting for the final product. Looks really good. Not your average cafe racer and I dig it. Great job.
From which motorcycle front suspension who know?
It’s from a 2005 gsxr
@@Biggerthanbikes and traverse from cognito moto?
Hace tiempo que vengo buscando un fairing para mi moto como ese, soy de Argentina y aquí no se consiguen en ningún lado, pero me inspiraste a tratar de hacer el mio
lookin good my man
What a sweet bike. Coming along great. I have never used cerakote only powder coat. How do you like it so far?
I love it so far, very curious to see how it holds up long term as it is my first time using it. But no complaints so far!
sorry, but how did you make sure the pinion and crown are aligned perfectly ?
Great video!
Hope everyone enjoys this restoration! What bike would you like to see after this one if finished?
A budget bike with a kick and more than one cylinder would be fun to watch and learn from for future projects, great work man! keep it up you earned a subscriber !
VFR 750 would be nice or anything with a kick start.
Максимально стандартный, что бы как с завода 😊
@@phatboi9962 I just finished my 1990 VFR 750 project! What a coincidence lol
i love your works ! good job
The master link clip opening should always face the rear or the motorcycle. This way it doesn't get ripped off when it passes the side cover.
Get a gas bottle and get those welds looking right.
Hey i saw that you actually reply to the comments so i was wondering what's the name of the red spray ? it turned the bike fairing to be great, and I'm looking to buy it online
It is apple red by House of Kolor
@@Biggerthanbikes much appreciated mate
@@Biggerthanbikes another question what's the name of the fabric used to creat the fairing? That paste looking thing
@@IslamDebbakh-hb4kw the fairing is made from fiberglass, I used short haired body filler on top to strengthen the fiber glass and smooth it out
🏍💨
Restoration pls
A restomod 🤔👌🏻
that rear wheel from hypermotard and swing arm 916 right, but fit, is that work way around ?
Nice
Wow expensive carbs !
Where did you find the mounting brackets that you used on the backside of the fairings? I know you made the chassis mount and the arms but I'm talking specifically about the brackets you are threading the bolts into, that are holding the fairing on
I made metal brackets and then used a nutsert tool to create the threaded part
How do you bolt the seat down if you cut off the bolt mounts
I actually cut right behind the seat mounts so the stock seat mounts are still there
both are nice i loved the cb750
What do you guys think of this style of video vs the series style for the cb750 build? Which one is more fun to watch?
I have Honda CB 750 1981 but i dont know how to fixed
Happy to see the end result. Would you mind sharing how thick (aproximatly) and how much fiber glass did you use for the front fairing alone?
I used 3 layers of fiber glass, only a couple of mm thick
@@Biggerthanbikes ty
It's not the best-looking, is it really. Headlight should be round, and the full fairing looks a little stunted in shape and size. Looks too thick and fat. Fairings are thin and shaped. Even 60s Moto GP bikes were more streamlined.
The saddle is ugly
What handle bars are you using?
They are the stock gsxr clip ons
Lame bro
Let her rip!🤘
Both, i'd love a flyby at full rpm!
i don't know if anyone had voiced this, but i am slightly concerned about the upper mount for the rear shock. it seems inadequately braced in the force vectors it sees, it also seems to have an lever in the design that isn't addressed and the total load distribution size to the frame seems small. just an observation.
Some commentary on the video would be helpful, watching i pretty much picked up what you were doing other than the products youre using and some parts where you fast forwarded i wasnt able to see what you were doing in some spots. A buddy of mine used to use this purple paste that was fiber optic and would go back and sand it down. Just trying to see if its the same products just different brands? Other than that it looks good. Look forward to part 3
Beautiful build! I got a 77 Yamaha xs750 3cylinder 2 valve cafe racer …
pff its horrible the style of bouffon
Cool,put a cool 7 on it
Wow, that's an easy bike to stare at! You chose the right motor and went from there. Great job, my man, I would love to run her through some twisties!
I love it and was hooked to the process as I'm building a bike myself, I'd recommend rethinking the seat! Keep it up man just give it a lil more time!
Jarke wegah kene 🙏
Been watching this very closely, looks fantastic pal , gonna start my own build soon
Thanks! What are you building?
@@Biggerthanbikes I live in Britain, laws are a lot different here regarding bikes etc so building a 125cc with a Suzuki 500cc engine in it with MotoGP styling , that's the plan anyway lol it's on my TH-cam if you want a look bud , been watching your progress on fairings etc so gonna have a go myself, it's been good watching the progress of your bike 👍
