Mori Seiki MV JR Startup & Basic Functions
We acquired an older Mori Seiki CNC machine at work. I took me a long time to figure out how to make this thing run and turn on. Here is a small video to hopefully help anybody else trying to learn this machine.
Also I'm very very new at the CNC world and this machine. So please leave me any feedback or links to cool things if you know more than me! I appreciate the help!
Still a ton to learn. Thanks for watching.

Watch and learn as Steve Deatherage Talks to us about his life as a drag racer. This Is my Documentary Project final for film school. I hope you enjoy Joffrey Mason
i have the exact truck in black with a 6.2 and i spent hours tryna pop off the bowtie to replace it but the 4 clips that hold it on are getting the best of me having literally no room to work. Already planned to pull the grill off and ..get it from the back ( thats what she said ) , this video will def save me some time. Thanks for the video 👍
Enjoying all the videos and thank you for the details!
Why not use the original ac??
The 3 bolts r kicking my butt. How did you get the one bolt thats a bitch out? Is there a tool that makes ut easier?
Awesome video - just did it myself today. mod that worked: - The 3 hard to access bolts on each side needing the extension… just loosening & then using a trim tool worked well for me assembly: - waaaay easy.. makes u understand why things r designed the way they are (for the line.. not for service) - move all the “funny rotateable plastic connectors” from the truck to the panels!! before installing the panels.. ..this makes it so u dont have to worry about trying to rotate those funny connectors; that part will already be done.
VERY SCARY SOUNDS
Thank u
be nice if we could actually hear what you are saying
Lots Of work but the end result will be awesome! I have a stock 57 3100.
Awesome, I can't wait to see how it goes and what parts you can reuse and have to purchase!
Great work guys! Please find joy in doing projects as Father/son, some of us wish we could have that and can’t.
Thanks...I just got nauseated . Gonna trade mine it tomorrow. Chevy can go f itself. $2000.00 for a headlight and pull front clip to change a fuckin light bulb? NO way. I'm done with Chevrolet
How did you keep the steering wheel
We put in a aftermarket steering column that would work with our setup. It has turn signals and tilt capability's. We then modified our steering wheel to work with that column. I can get you the actual column part number if you want it.
@@joffreyotg yes please
www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-771702b-nk?rrec=true
Just note if your using a true 57 steering wheel you will need the 30 inch not the 32. We loved the 56 wheel so we went with that and a 32.
@@joffreyotg I will be using a 59 wheel. Go with 32 ?
Great job I’m about to change mine out
on my 22 i only had to loosen the 3 bolts to pop the corner piece off
Super helpful bro !!! More videos please lol
Glad it helped out!
Thank you! I bought one of these a while back and haven't gotten it to make parts yet. This is helpful. Make more videos please!!
Oh man I'm learning this beast as well. I will keep you posted!
Thank god i have a ZR2 Silverado 🙏
You never actually showed us the mounting bolts to take off underneath
Just curious why was there so much gap in the bed and cab I want to do the same swap but 2wd
So we moved the cab and front clip forward about 3 inches to make our radiator and stock fan configuration a simpler install. We also didn’t like the front wheel gap in the cabs original position. So we decided to live with the larger gap on the bed and cab to have the wheel wells where we wanted them. If you watch the first ever video at the end you will see that the front clip has a 2-3 inches gap on the door fender gap. That’s how far foward we ended up moving the cab.
Did you get 4wd to work?
Not yet! But is on the list. I know videos have been quiet but I’m hoping to get back on the truck soon! I’ll shoot video about the 4x4 I promise.
Can you drop a link on where you got the parts from?
Do they sell that headlight housing online like eBay or Amazon?
I bought my headlight online from eBay.
My headlights keep blinking while driving idk why.
Jeffery, what type of paint did you paint the frame with?
So I used a rust oleum rust converter for the first couple passes. Then I did a spray truck bed liner over top of that.
@@joffreyotg Thanks. I'm doing a 56 in same fashion. Love your videos I've learned a lot about the project by watching
Awesome job, you guys rock 🤘
Thanks for watching!
Is it possible to get the body any lower on that platform
Probably not too much. The box is what ends up taking all the space to line up. Best thing to do would be drop the suspension or do a 2wd diner truck and slam it. That’s my 2c.
Thanks for posting this. I had to install a new bumper, and apparently the dealership doesn't have the installation instructions for their billions of variations of models and refreshes. I spent about an hour trying to pull out the grill that was suppose to only be held in by clips. I figured something was amiss with that plastic piece. Low and behold, it was hiding bolts! Also, those white clips on one side weren't even connected. Guess the factory workers were tired of dealing with them, too... Thanks again for the detailed video, and fuck you, GM! LOL
Are you going to title this truck as a 57 pickup or a Tahoe???
So in Oklahoma, there is a form to do a joint title. So you take the 57 title and vin, the Yukon title and vin, and join them together and they give you a new VIN and title. You then have to stamp the new VIN into the truck somewhere. In retrospect, we thought this was the best thing to do, however we should have just left it titled as a 57 in Oklahoma. I mean our DMV system here is pretty easy, I don't know if you could this in California for example.
We're not, I'll be able to find one of those kids. I have a 2004 U coin that I would like to stick my 57 on. Just had a curiosity, how much was that kit
It was around $1500 I believe for the kit.
I sure hope you use the electric window apparatus, and all the steering controls that came on the wheel & any other amenities that the Yukon came with. I hope you will put all the amenities in the truck because l don’t want you to say to yourself you wished you had taken the time and effort to wire & install them after your all finished. That’s a HUGE task that you have taken on so take your time do a great job and by all means DONT BURN OUT!!!
How did you unlock the cpu… did you do it with your hp tuner?
So we had our local tuner in Tulsa unlock the computer with a VATS removal. I believe you can do this in HP Tuners though.
@@joffreyotg yeah after watching all you videos and half ass and others I figured out how to do it on Hp, actually really easy so that worked out. Thanks and nice truck build.
I have a 67 c10 on a 01 z71 Tahoe love it
nice where are you located? We should go cruise!
@@joffreyotg Houston Tx
Good ticher good way to fix
Were you find the kit for the cabin mount on the ends for the bumpers
Did you hook up the four-wheel drive parts it could be what's missing for the transmission to work right
We have not hooked up any of transfer case wiring yet to the system. We did end up finding out that we missed a power wire in our wiring harness for the transmission. There are actually TWO that need to be hooked up in order to make it work. We ended up doing a whole new engine harness after all that work to make it easier. It worked fine after we put the new harness in but we think we know where we messed up.
Can you or ANYONE plz tell me where to find the turn signal bulb to change out to LED on my 2023 chev Lt Trl Boss
That kit has be worth its weight in gold!!
So, your dad is a bubblehead! I was an EM on the Queenfish 637 class. Good job with the truck.
Yes he is! He was a nuclear power tech on the USS Nautilus 571. It’s actually a museum up in Groton CT now. Thank you for your service as well!
Awesome video! Thank you!
Thanks for video it will really help my trim at the bottom where your passenger headlight is at the bottom of the grill for some reason came apart so have to take apart to realign it to go back in because I can't get it back in by just pushing on it. You saved me a lot of trial and error.
I believe the off alignment issue is a manufacturing problem, and you should check that with your GM dealership, as it is a common issue on silverado’s and tahoe’s as well! and it is also on the same “passenger” side.
Figure out the transmission? sounds like solenoids
Oh yeah we figured it out. It was 100% a power or ground issue with our harness going to the transmission. Once we put in the new harness we had made it fired right up no problem. I believe we missed one 12v wire in the harness. Causing the transmission to not have power.
Helpped me working at Anthony Chevrolet
Thks for a great video it called easy chassis??? Please
Hi there! Yea it’s a company called ez chassis. Really nice guy running it.

I bought a psi wiring harness and computer, plug an play truck running in 2 days
I just came here to figure out how to take the damned bumper off. Shitty fucking chevy
$1600 for a headlight assembly? Holy $&!$ I would be calling my insurance company.
Oh yeah I went through my insurance. They cut me a check for like $1200 after my deductible. Found that headlight on eBay for $900.
Thanks for the info man. Would you happen to know if that LED headlight would fit a 23' Custom?
I really am not sure man. Fit wise I’m sure it will go in there. The thing I’m not sure is if your custom truck would have the brain to run the smart led stuff that this rst light has, or if it can talk to the headlight module. I’m sure somebody has tried this already by now though. Keep digging.
I thought my 08 tahoe was bad......i cannot wait to do this on my 23 1500.....
I know right! Pulling that upper trim panel just to get the grill out is stupid…. Hopefully I don’t have to go in there again.
