Risby Fishing Lakes & Folly Cafe - East Yorkshire
An ideal place for an undisturbed days fishing, with well stocked lakes including a broad variety of species. Alternatively, you may want to go for a quite coffee or hot/cold meal, indoors or outside on the terrace.
Ample parking facilities........Truely, a wonderful place, set in glorious countryside..........

Streets - (Joy Division Mix by KD)
มุมมอง 8811 หลายเดือนก่อน
As a continuation from the Joy Division documentary I created this from old video footage of the Bolton area......I think. Bernard Sumner explains in the documentary that "he never saw a tree until he was about 9 years old", this video amplifies that statement.
Ferriby To "The Deep" (Hull) 4K

Made up of 7 video clips, including ones edited from my channel to make this. Started last year, but then autumn drew in and the difference in colours meant I had to restart this June. A bit tricky as I had to get the tides at the right level each time and remember the distance from the shore, and correct height. hope you enjoy it, thanks for watching........more to come !!
Lord Line & St Andrews Dock (quick fly round) 4K

These buildings and what's left of the dock are the only things left from a bygone era. The fishing industry was huge back in the day and employed so many people, from the fishermen, skippers, fillteters, factory workers, office staff etc etc. The long gone small post office at one time was the busiest P.O. in the world, with tick-a tapes, telegrams going all over the world to fish merchants. I was born into a 2 up/2 down on Flinton Grove, a terrace off Flinton Street in 1976. I hold a lot of my childhood from there till it was all levelled, moving on through Hawthorne Ave for a year, onto Bilton Grange, and then around the Uni area. I've lived in northern Europe for the last thirteen years, and in many ways I think the memories of how Hull used to be hold greater power than the city it has become. I miss it, and equally I know that if I visited I would have those memories destroyed also. Very bittersweet, thanks for uploading Keith!

This was a quiet peaceful place, somewhere for walking, away from the madding crowd. But then why should that matter, there's no money to be made from preserving the planets natural beauty.

I suppose the land owner can do as he pleases, nothing surprises nowadays, how do people sleep at night. At least your daughter saw it before the devastation, my feelings are the same as yours....and quite a few more nature lovers too I reckon.

This was a very pleasant walk. I was lucky enough to see a deer once when I was there with my daughter. Seeing it in this state is so terribly sad. Has there been any explanation as to why this happened?

I used to work on St Andrews dock when it was a dock. Our workshop backed right onto the river. Spent many a happy hour there sitting on a huge plastic pipeline watching the jellyfish floating.
