I won’t say the name but I know exactly the site you are referring to tried parking my car there one time and offered to pay for a camp pitch and was refused on the grounds that I was wild camping over night, your camp was going so well to awesome views very atmospheric with the rolling cloud, best keep to the free parking on roadside in future but then you worry if you’re car will still be there when you return, stay safe Buddy, ATB,Les.

Hi Kie, just a quick question about the Vern 1, is there a certain order that you need to attach the clips? As I did it in kind of a random order and now my blue centre pole is bent 😭

Several wild campers have encountered trouble wild camping there , locals not happy with it and have to think of the wishes of the community they have to live in.its catch 22

Mate sorry it had to end like that but you probably did the right thing by coming down when you did. I suspect that the camp site doesn’t want to be a magnet for party campers parking cars and clearing off to cause havoc in the hills. I am now in an argument with this campsite. Rules or not, they shouldn't have made you descend. Their attitude back to me was dire and so I have left a 1 star review.

As a Vern 1 owner myself the crossing pole always gos in first and underneath the other two…I’m sure you know this already..cheers good vid

Fantastic site for a camp! Drone shots are definitely a great addition to the channel, especially with those views! Definitely best to follow your gut instinct and leave the mountain safely 👍

I think you should name and shame the campsite! They're depriving you of nature and they have already received your payment for 'partial' wear and tear on their property.

So basically, the campsite owners got the hump with you using their parking facilities but camping ‘wild’ instead of using their site?

i've parked near gwern gof uchaf before and just walked up to the ogwen visitor centre or started up one of the side routes. saves the messing and felt safer leaving the car there too

Hi I just open my abisko lite 3 for the first time and some black guyline was in, it was like a knot around the tent then I need to take of them for pitch the tent, they are for what ? Additional guy line ? Thank !
