Hi,Can I get registered with IBMS after doing BS Medical laboratory technology from Pakistan???
I was blessed with the opportunity to do an internship with USC called the BRAIN initiative ( biomedical research apprenticeship internship) . A collaboration with the beacon house of San Pedro and USC. I gained hands on experience at Norris comprehensive cancer center of USC for 1 year then was hired on by one of my lab rotation professors that gave me a chance and took me under her wing. I had no experience in a lab other than High school and with very little college. I am forever greatful and will now be able to pursue my dream of getting my degree from USC and further my career in the biomedical sciences
There are universities in which professors refuse to give feedback, as it would not be fair for other students
Do I need to get an IBMS accredited degree if i want to work in a diagnostic lab next time?

Hello. Pls, as a graduate of Medical Laboratory Science from outside of the UK, can I get a MSc program at an IBMS accredited university in the UK. If it’s possible, can I also concurrently complete the IBMS certificate of competence within this period ?

How do I contact you to volunteer? I don't see a phone number that I can call or a form to fill out?
Is it easy to get your course IBMS accredited if you did your course in a Russell university?
You can’t ‘get’ your degree accredited. Only a few universities in the UK are accredited by the institute of biomedical science. Not all of them are russel group. Russel group means that it is research intensive and thats it - nothing more. If you go to an unaccreddited university just because you want a russel group, you will have to do extra years and extra modules after graduating in order to be accredited by the Institute of biomedical science and actually become a BMS. There are hundreds and thousands of qualified biomedical scientists in the uk and as long as your degree is accreddited it doesnt matter what uni you go to as the degree from the uni is heavily assessed and regulated by the INSTITUTE OF BIOMEDICAL SCIENCE. For example, my friends who went to manchester university studied there which is russel group but it is not accredited by the Institute of biomedical science as it is a research uni only so now they are struggling to find a job because their degree is not accredited nor accepted by many health professions in the UK. If they want to actually become a BMS, they HAVE to do top up modules and extra coursees or else they will not progress. Or, they can just do research. It is a very important topic lots of people dont even know about this.
In 2025 can i give ucat test online
