Can we get the preset ?

How do you capture amps with this? Or do you need more than this to do that....im assuming you can only download captures people put on the web.

Fellow guitarist here in need of help lol. Ive followed and watched your video numerous times incase I missed a step but still having an issue setting the "favourite mode" Upon completion of setting up procedure, whenever I press the mini-switch to recall my desired setting, I'm getting this infinite forte ensemble setting instead. I made sure the jumper inside is set to "favourite mode" and the light is on the "amber" setting. Please help.. Thankyou

Thank goodness, I was going to say the difference is subtle, and it seems most folks agree! Nice! (Volume difference, yes, but the tone is pretty close)

Will I have phasing issues with a walrus canvas stereo since it’s a line isolator? Is the DISO+ the end all be all with the dual ToneX? I’m about to switch to them.

I have the same guitar and my 5 way switch has also gone out on me. Thought about just upgrading the electronics

Cloud + Shimmer?? That’s what Shimmer was missing. How did you just completely put the MX on my list from having no interest? I have the Chroma. Always interested in the sounds people are coming up with-especially in a P&W context-if you do more content on it.

Thanks for your honesty on the BigSky MX. I agree, if you want it and you dig it, and you can afford it - get it. I am struggling with deciding which one to get or to just go with a cloudburst. Wish someone who didn’t seem to just hate the MX because of the price would do a comparison. I’m sure in a few years it will be everyone’s favorite though. Congrats on the guitar too!

I found a gold top DGT SE and can say for the guitar's new or used pricepoint, it is one of the best electric guitar values period. I play it more than my core singlecut.

Can I just say I really love those tones from around 1:26 to 4:30 ish? Man, I purchased so much this year but some of my favorites are Wampler Re-Wired, Catalinbread Sidearm, Keely Halo, Boss SDE-3000... to name a few. I got more gear than I can handle so I've been putting together multiple boards and experimenting. At the same time, I've been working overnights so it's hard to truly find time to do all that I want to. Anyway, great video, great playing! I definitely want the first pedal, didn't care for the Helix One thing or the drive pedals but that's just because I have bought so many drive pedals this year when they released. You sound great and awesome playing. I can't wait to see what gear you pick up for 2025!

You can do the 4 cable set up to have individual presets decide where in the chain they appear. Downside to that? Have to run it mono.

With TONEX FX now, you could dial 1 in as the amp and mod/delay/reverb, set a clean, breakup and tap tempo to the switches on it and run the other into the front of it with 3 of your overdrive captures and the comp always on. Two of these could be your whole rig in a pinch.

Aside the clean tones. I like the heavy overdrive, and I like overdrive, but either way, besides the neck on the Silver Sky's, that I prefer. I like the fact, even though it's a single coil bridge, it's so more beefy and useable. It's not entirely the bell and jingle, with comparable Fender tones, but it's got a sort of crisper, thicker tone to me, while it's got Mayer's bias sound. I had the Ever Green SE, in the process of selling it off, since I own the Moon White now, plays and sounds better somehow, but the stone blue, storm grey, piano Black, even the overland grey, maple, are great SE finishes. My only silly complaint, it's not really ugly, but I do understand how the Silver Sky's have a hipster modern Fender aesthetic to them.

I'm using the HX one in combination with the tonex.... i want to use some effects pre and some post from the HXone... but its not working...tried alle routing options....is there a way??

This is true and i had the same issue from one venue to another venue. It is not one size fits all. My solution.... I set it up with my Alto PA powered speaker flat which has 15 inch speaker. I tweak my amp sim that will sound like a real clean fender amp then set up all my effects to taste. At least in this way or most likely most PA speakers will have the same frequency when they are set up for live use. If you also have a mixer, thru connect your mixer to a powered speaker then connect your amp sim to it.

Can this pedal be set up to use both expression pedal and mini switch? It would be nice to use the mini switch to call up your favorite setting and then use the expression pedal to control the amount of ambient effects. Is this doable?

Sounds really good! Isolated it might come off as “too much” but in the context of a mix some of that obviously gets dispersed. All I hear is a tone that will definitely cut through the mix like buttah!

Hi Brendan.. I have HX stomp and thinking about adding either cloudburst or all in one modulation box such as HXone.. Is the HX one reverb is as good as the cloudburst? Btw I really enjoy your Optimist video and pull the trigger for the pedal.. Thanks a lot!

Why do you reverse polarity? Does it make it sound different? What is XLR summing?

At 6:19 there’s no carry over between the longer reverb. It just kills it dead when switching between the favourite and the current setting. Can that be changed?
