What year is the new differential you put on the truck

Looking at buying a 2500 that needs a rear end and wanted to be sure it’s a repair I can actually handle, so thank you for this video!

I have a 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 trying to put rear end man the problem I have it is I can't get the axles to stay on your u-bolts while you hook it up is there any tricks you got or a device you got for me to try I'd appreciate it thank you

I can tell you don't know how to drive a standard and how to shift.

I watched this video then did it on my truck. You don't have to remove that large panel under the steering wheel at 1:02. Just remove the bolt on the lower left side to have more room to stretch out the smaller panel at 2:00. That one also doesn't need to come all the way off. Just lean it out far enough to pull the pieces of the handle out of the clamp. This is not difficult.

this was a real truck - real steel./.. great gas ...low end power for working.

For removing the knuckle from the lower ball joint, there is a slot in the knuckle you can fit a pickle fork through. Saves a lot of hammering on the knuckle. Other than that awesome how to.

They are a blast to drive,60-2 GM,Chevy trucks did have hydraulic clutch linkage from the factory.

Thank you. This is a1 info for me. I find that this may be easier than changing out the parts and bearings. I heard you loud and clear with that blower going. I probably need new shocks anyway and will definitely not be using the old square u bolts since yours broke.

My brother had a 63. The door was different body style so I guess you could say 61 through 66 same body style but different it would be neat to see each years differences.

Corvairs with unibody construction were known to split apart in the rust belt. Not safe! Cool tractor! My grandfather had an A, a B and a 60. My father got the 60 when my grandfather died. I used the 60 a lot as a teenager.

1980 thru 1996 was the same body style.!987 is when that front end was first used.Get it strajght CHEVY GUY before talking FORD, the GOD given truck of real men!

I have love for these trucks but still not as good looking as an OBS Chevy and the Chevys are a lot roomier and more comfortable.

Im about to have to do this… I will be watch these videos a lot probably.
