Egan, Barnes, and Laurent have been signed to add experience to an otherwise extremely youmg squad. Barnes is fabulous around the dressing room, especially for the younger lads. He is a huge character. I feel it's a masterstroke by the club.
I agree with your take on Watford, Ryan. We are on the slide. Clevs is changing formation 2-3 times per game. We are conceding soft goals early on in games or straight after we score. Warning signs abound. We won't sell Chakvetadze though. Although you've been quiet on Watford all season and now we are slipping you decide to pipe up again!
The point made about Darlow, he played a couple of games last season and looked like he was allergic to touching the ball, the only way Meslier gets dropped I think is if we sign a replacement.
Meslier, the stick dude, is 6 feet infinity tall (1,97m) but looks like someone got bored and wanted to finish the drawing and settle for a passing grade. Lev Yashin played like a cat too, but he never made himself look small like that.
As much as it hurts to see burnley win again at our own ground… I won’t really stay frustrated. The difference in squad value and income is so big. I really don’t understand why parachute payments are a thing, as the money generated from big players leaving when you get relegated is already enough to become a rich club in the championship. It’s simply unfair to the clubs who are not earning premier league money. I’m looking forward to seeing them get pounced in the premier league next year.
You don't receive parachute payments until the end of the season! If a club goes back up they payments go to the rest of the league! We sold £107m worth of players when we got relegated, not forgetting the parachute payments Wovers received when they were relegated! All three years worth!
Very different story when Jack was breaking transfer records when the club was generating nothing. Also you’ve had a squad what’s been together for a while now and a youth system which was meant to be world class.Sour grapes springs to mind !!!
@@thomashargreaves6935yeah true, It wasn’t particularly focused towards this year’s burnley team, it’s more a thing in general. Would like to see the championship more competitive with smaller financial gaps
Burnley dont win enough, the wheels have fallen off at Leeds. Sheff Utd and Sunderland for autos. Leeds bottle the playoffs. Everyone laughs at the leeds fans.
The most idiotic thing you’ll read on the internet this week. Burnley are unbeaten since 3rd November. Leeds are as solid as they’ve been in years. You’re looking at the top 2 now. No other teams come close. Wilder will be his own downfall and Sunderland don’t have the experience.
If I were a coffee shop owner on Teeside, I'd make a matchday special drink: 'The Emmanuel Latte Lath.' Double shot. Has a lovely kick.

whatever the record is for least amount of goals conceded is Burnley will smash it
30. We need to concede a goal a game to not brake that…

@ Leeds aren’t getting autos when they can’t win teams fighting relegation 😂
