Good video. The thing that people don’t realise is the irony that Chansiri has already been hugely ambitious, spending big and just narrowly losing in his 1st play-off final, he then threw more money at it and still pumps a lot of money into the club to ensure there’s no risk of SW going into admin or going bust. The problem is SW haven’t had any player sales for the last 6 years because no one wants the players based on Chansiris inflated valuation, so purchases must be low otherwise you infringe FFP rules. A major reason for the anger is that Wednesday fans naturally compare their club to local rivals Sheffield United. They were giving it large when SU recently spent 6 consecutive seasons in league 1 with Wednesday splashing the cash on players like Rhodes, Forestieri and Winnall. Now Sheff United have opened a massive gap on and off the pitch so there’s an element of envy. At the end of the day no fan has the right to demand that their club reaches the Premier league. Clubs like Sheff Utd, Luton and Ipswich managed it, freshly out of league 1 with limited money and no parachute payments, so it is possible. However with Sheff Wed (historically a big club) being currently outside the top flight 25 years (an unwanted Sheffield record) and counting then no wonder SW fans are massively frustrated and want to keep to trying out new owners splashing the cash again, until the gamble pays off. Maybe it’s a language or culture clash but what doesn’t help is Chansiri disrespectful superior attitude towards the fans, he’s sensitive regards any criticism and doesn’t delegate responsibility onto others to share the workload.

The only reason they're kicking up a storm is because what's happening at Bramall lane. If you go over to porktalk they always bring the Blades into their arguments and you can just smell the fear oozing out of s6. There is even admittance of little green eyed monsters coming out of the closet

It’s the same at Bramall Lane, £41 + £1 booking fee for the West Brom and Burnley matches over Christmas. Not sure why both Sheffield clubs have some of the highest prices in the EFL, altho at least SU are showing some ambition to it’s easier to justify, believe it’s expensive at Middlesbrough too.

DC's ownership of SWFC is like a limpet attached to a harbour wall.
Chris Turner hinted some years ago that agents were directly placing players into SW. This is not the case now.
An accurate account. And we could add to it.
I want DC to sell. But I am going to give him some credit. He is well intentioned, he has put a lot of money into this club and he's also had bad advice.
But he doesn't have the finance now or the ability to take us forward.
I think without new players coming in we could go down we only need a few injuries

Oh boy it’s been a long few years with this nutcase you mentioned in the video that he said he saves the club wich does annoy us because he didn’t save the club the old owner saved us Chansiri was supposed to take us to next level and well it hasn’t gone to plan I do fear for my club chansiri is going to destroy us and he only the only person who can’t see it and because of the ticket price being so expensive the attendance at hillsborough is being massively affected I’m fortunate enough that I can buy a season ticket have been for many years. our frustration with the owner is he always just destroyed everything positive about the club we got one of the best mangers in a long time and Danny Rohl will be a top manager

Selling the stadium, in itself, was not an issue. Derby had sold their stadium to their owner in a similar move, earlier. The issue was that he didn't sell the stadium in time to balance the books for the year that needed balanced, so we got a points deduction for breaching ffp. Which kinda makes it worse. Utter incompetency.
Way over the top criticism. Now he deserves some for ticket prices and the dealings that lead to the points deductions but this is an owner Wednesday fans loved at first. He spent big trying to win promotion and failed.
Look at the previous lot. Mandaric, a Serb carpet bagger who ripped off local businesses. Lee Strafford, a grifter who mismanaged the finances and spent all day arguing on forums , Dave Allen who sued fans, Dave Richards who burdened the club with loans that almost saw them liquidated and Bert MaGee who took no responsibility for the disaster and behaved callously and with contempt towards the victims.
Chansiri's the first man at Wednesday to honour the victims, and for that he deserves some praise. He also deserves sympathy for the abuse his family have suffered from large sections of the fanbase.
Respectfully I would disagree. Chansiri is a total basket case, over 30 million spent and one relegation to show for it on top of getting a good manager in Danny Rohl then not even communicating in the transfer window? Or demanding fans put their own money in the club while having the leagues most expensive season tickets? He's holding that club hostage. It's a terrible way to run a club, and surely the first thing you do when buying a championship club is, I don't know, NOT blow your finances on a mad rush for promotion. There's plenty examples of that. He needs to just sell the club honestly.
Maybe he didn't handle it correctly but I think Danny wobbled and wanted to go to Southampton. It's a club he knows so well . Budget here is small and there's is big . But Danny promised 3 years if Chansiri ups the Budget maybe we cud great things . All on the same page is better

Unfortunately he’s going nowhere. He values the club at £250m and refuses to sign a NDA in talks with potential buyers, who is going to deal with someone like that.

This is a very unbalanced review of the situation, I'm sure if you were to ask Mr Chansiri he would inform you that he is doing an excellent job and its the fans fault things have gone wrong and millions of pounds have been wasted.
And you (seemingly deliberately) neglected to mention that during the recent fans forum, Mr Chansiri helpfully suggested that if fans didn't like it they didn't like it they didn't have to come. Not sure if this involved a refund though.

@@waterbird-s5qprecisely . In many Asian countries the fans even if they disagree with owners will not challenge the way they run the club, it's not the same in Europe. Where people like this man or Peter Ling at Valencia are surprised when fans challenge them.
