Fish Room Tour and Vlog July 2023 Part 1
the fish in this video are either altifrons or neambi from Brazil. not surinamensis.
For me, cichlids and sunfishes with iridescent blue spangles like these are the most beautiful fishes on Earth. I love the blue sifter, carpinte and Texas cichlids, as well as Jack Dempseys and true blue acaras in the Americas. I also love the jewel cichlids of West Africa, and North American sunfishes like the pumpkinseed and longear. All of these have amazing, shiny blue flecks. They’re like living gems. And of course, their behaviors are fascinating. Just amazing.
Do you still have the gephyrus?
Hi Stuart, no unfortunately I lost them a long time ago 😢
@ ahh that’s unfortunate, I had what were sold to me as ornatum quite a few years back ( probably were gephyrus) and they got huge 13/14inch long. You wouldn’t happen to know anywhere/ anyone selling them?
I may buy some of these. Do you think they will go in with my Dwarf Cichlids?
Use a stapler it works great with that insulation ✌️🙏🇨🇦

What a great fish room with lots of variety. Do you know where the best place to get a 450+ tank would be around Merseyside please Bill as I am looking to get some pretty big fish but cant afford spending a lot on a new tank.
@@aaronscott8670 hi Aaron, thanks for the comments. It’s years since I bought a tank - you could try Premier Aquatics
Thank you, I especially liked the tip of breaking up the flake food. I met a guy in line at the pet store and said that he used to have a lot of tanks (he was a breeder) and said that the fry will eat just about anything (fish food wise) 👍
Great fish room
@@Smallfish16 thank you

Hello from my fish room channel all the way in Chicago, where I'm a subscriber to yours. You're a charming host, my friend :)
@@LushSaltyAquariums thank you so much, glad you enjoy the channel :-)
how can i trigger them to breed . my tapajos are show mating dances but no luck
It’s tough, this pair only laid eggs twice & I wasn’t able to raise any, but in the past I had a young pair that went every month. Do you have anything else in the tank with them? I found it best if they were in a tank by themselves.
