Cracking fish when bigger , got a question for you cause you obviously know your stuff on cichlids , I have 6-7 inch jack dempsey had about a year and half, it not eaten for over 2 weeks I’ve tried Esha hexamita Esha ndx and given Epsom salt baths , fish looks fine apart from not eating and shying away from other fish when they eat , tried loads of different food booodworm cichlid pellets flake and fluval bug bites , sorry bother you , any ideas is this something you’ve seen before ?
Thanks Lee, I’ve seen it with timid fish. With adult fish they don’t eat as much when they have stopped growing or no breeding but 2 weeks does sound a lot. I only feed my adults 3-4 times a week.
There'll be trouble ahead! Hope you get some good pairs out of 'em Bill.
Hope so Stu
Love it Bill cant wait to the progress on these

So you think there nothing else to do , do you think I should try force feed it
I think they lost some weight during transport.
Yes Peter, they need feeding up a bit
One of the species I wish I hadn’t moved on. Good luck in getting some pairs and looking forward for some future updates 👍🏻
