I’ve been collecting off and on I don’t own a MASSIVE collection but a decent size mainly wrestlers from my childhood all out the box, marvel legends animated series x men and just started collecting a child hood dream line 2005 playmates King Kong… though I cannot afford mint in box I was able to afford some on good deals I have 2 so far the gripping kong the roaring kong though I do not want to open them since this is a childhood dream and fun topic I was actually born 2 months before the movie came out so we are nearly the same age of 20 years. Do u think it would be a good idea to hand the figures on the wall held by a thumb tack? Or can overtime that damage the box?

I've only started collecting DVD's a year ago because it is indeed the perfect time to start collecting. It's 3 DVD's for 1 euro in the second hand shops where I live, because a lot of people is getting rid of their collection. This will not last forever. I am guessing in a few years time it will all dry up so now is the time.

I disagree with the ruling personally. The Rat lived. It became the most famous Rat in the world, along with the Mouse with a human ear growing from its back! It was awful for the Rat I'm sure, but it did actually breathe oxygenated liquid developed by some professors at a university i read. It is now a cinematic historical document of this feat, never to be performed again. Restricting release seems futile now.

With how CG has advanced over the years, and Star Wars is kind of struggling at the moment, they should do another version, re-redo all of the changes made from 1997-2011, and just make them look better, in addition to just digitally remastering the original versions. I love the clarity of the modern versions and some of the changes are good, like the added scenes with the Death Star Battle, but I also want to experience life before intense CG, but in HD.

Just ordered this set a few days ago after watching V and VI on Disney+. V isn't too bad, but the extra crap in VI is just too much for me and I realized that was part of why I don't watch the movies as much now as an adult. Not just the Sarlac pit, but the corny rock song and CGI characters in Jabba's palace... woof. Also, the "no's" that they added Vader saying when he grabs the emperor annoyed me more than they probably should. I see people talking about 4K77, and I will have to check those out, but I wanted at least some hard copy version of the originals.

While it's no excuse to not remaster and release the original versions in the best quality - the 2006 DVDs really aren't that bad. Sure, the resolution isn't great but the color timing is pretty close to the original film prints. And as far as official releases go, they do just fine.

Reruns of Inspector Gadget was aired on Nickelodeon, Family Channel, CBS and in syndication in the 90's because I do know watching this syndicated on weekday mornings on my local Fox affiliate as reruns the same with Nickelodeon, Family Channel, and CBS. But I do know promos stating that it was still aired in local channels in the 1990s on weekdays when syndicator Bohbot Entertainment distributed repeats of the first season of Inspector Gadget to local (independent and FOX) stations; the rerun package was also carried nationally over New York/New Jersey superstation WWOR at various times beginning in September 7, 1992 and ran for two years. However, many stations continue to run the show at various times as late as 1994. It said: "Don't look now, because Inspector Gadget's crawling your way. He's the funniest oddball superhero around, with his goofy gadgets and wacky ways. With orders from the chief and his trustly dog, Brain he'll do whatever it takes to track Dr. Claw to the ends of the earth with explosive results. Inspector Gadget's back!"
