We watched the Tamworth Tottenham match earlier. Tamworth were unlucky but seem to have decent defenders who know where to take up positions to defend set pieces. If we really are broke why not try there.

They were bad , we were worse . Only thought there would be one winner when Bannon came on and got into the groove of the game but only scraped an equaliser into injury time . Again i was confident we had the initiative and looked like we'd win , then came penalties . Lowe taking one fair enough but wasn't sure about Kobacki taking one after such a long time out .Disapponted in the end to lose a game we could have easily won despite the poor first hour .

If a ‘striker’ misses the target from a penalty/12 yards (regardless if it’s Ugbo, Lowe, or whoever) they should be docked a week’s wages. Absolutely criminal for a professional striker who plays football 5+ days a week.

Some bright moments in the game. Some good passages in midfield. Just the old thing once more about our efforts in both boxes. For me the man of the match is Pierce Charles. He only seems to be slightly built but he's brave and I do think his kicking of the ball gives us that extra dimension

Not only did Ihiekwe miss his header, but Ugbo was just behind him on his shoulder, who was at fault. OK Ugbo couldn't score in a free French brothel at the moment, but surely a big lump up from the back doesn't crowed out your own striker....?

Excellent as ever mate. Thank you. 20% down to poor choices (not starting Smith, pen and defending) but 80% down to rank bad luck. Occasionally you just don’t get what you deserve, and this was a prime example. Still in good shape. Watford beginning to show their true level, and Boro and Blackburn wobbling.

I'm sorry, might get a lot of hate for this, but this is on Danny. Smith should be starting well ahead of Ugbo, at least until Ugbo gets back to form. The Ugbo transfer has NOT worked and he's got to accept that. The team must come before any player (as cold as that sounds) so even with Ugbo starting, there's no way he should be taking that pen. I knew 100% he would miss it, knew it. Had Smith started the game though, he would have taken it and we go 2:0 up. That's game done and dusted, 3 points and a serious push towards the playoffs. Instead we barely escape with a draw at home against a poor Millwall side who seem to be our bugbear team. They battered us when we played them at their home ground last time and I really wanted revenge today. So this draw makes me really angry. Absolutely should have beaten them comfortably today given how much we were bossing the game up to the pen.

At the moment the top four are fighting for the two automatic positions . Then there are six teams 5 points apart fighting for the last two play off spots . For any chance of getting a play off spot we need a centre half / halves to shore up our defence because i don't know about you but every time Derby ( or any team for that matter ) got a corner or any other opportunity to get a cross in .... I was crapping myself . Sure a couple of seasons back we had trouble defending crosses and im pretty sure our poor record of defending crosses now is usually mentioned in commentaries from the opponents side .

Our defending is so poor. There is no composure, they are trying thrash the ball away and not making good contact. It,s almost as though there is no leader in the defensive unit giving instructions, calming them down, and preventing them running about like headless chickens. The decision to give Ugbo the penalty was crazy, Baz should have stepped in and stopped it, sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind.

Thought overall SWFC played OK (have momentum).Run of the green not particularly went our way today.Lets just see in great anticipation if players are going to arrive at S6, and some should be offered the opportunity to play regularly away from S6.🫡🦉👍📈

We are in the championship because of Ugbo. Felt bad for him missing that penalty. The pressure from the fans, himself is immense. As soon as he starts scoring, having fun loosens up, smile on the face bit of cheek, he will be the best player again.

We can only blame ourselves. Poor defending and didn't score many chances. So this is why we will be mid table, not in play offs. We're over achieving with the squad we have. Mr Chansiri doesn't have any more cash, so this is as good as it gets until he sells up or we go into administration.

Yep, frustrating but, just as you say, we really are in a terrific position. Let’s keep everything crossed for a couple or three strong, decent footballers who Danny wants to bring on board in January. Then imagine if the Blades finish third and we come in sixth and all hell breaks loose. I know, I know, it’s way too early to think about that…….but it is fun though, isn’t it? Winning the game is the mission, if we got a pen at 4-0 then we can afford to be sentimental but at 1-0, that pen would have killed the game, Ike might have got one organically and the confidence would be flying again. Still pleased for Otegbayo and we stole a point so not a total farce but with Ugbo hurting plus the injuries I think this was the game that parked any lofty ambitions for the play offs and settle for a nice mid table finish. Keep up the great work mate x

Penalty Gate. I don't see how a striker who hasn't scored all season will get much benefit from scoring from a penalty. Yes it's a goal but psychologically he needs to score from normal play. That's where he will get the most benefit. It's daft putting him on the spot, literally. His nerves will now be totally shot.

Musaba, Windass, Gassama hasn't worked every. Of course we play Windass, and both the other two have their moments, BUT we are weaker when they play a full game, especially with Ingelsson on the bench, we really missed him today. I think we now need to give Ugbo a break, let him go work on his skills away from the pressure of first team. And yes, we need two or three centre halves in this window, now as a priority. Right decision but wrong time allowing Ugbo to take the penalty. Most worrying thing today was DR saying afterwards "ask someone from the club in 11 days" when asked about incoming. That is when the fans forum is. Fed up of us gifting goals, without that we would be comfortably in 4th place

Jim as you indicate Wednesday are so close but I'm sure there's another half dozen teams thinking the same thing that's this seasons championship for you. Whilst l agree reinforcements are required surly it's not beyond the wit of the coaching staff and players to rectify these 'soft' goals conceded, it requires a bit of tinkering positionally, concentration,and above all the mentality of defending aggressively. On a positive l for one am enjoying great attacking football and lots of great goals exciting games. Keep up the good work Jim!!!

I dunno, maybe it was more of a point gained rather than 2 points lost at 83 minutes? Everyone knows we can't defend for toffee but it's been the same for a good few seasons, even under Darren Moore. I'm increasingly of the opinion that it doesn't matter who we bring into the defence but more to do with formation and zonal marking. I would loved to be proved wrong but we know that won't happen because Danny is not going to change the way we play at the back. We're pretty decent at going forward though, but Ugbo needs a partner he understands

I'm glad our "unsatisfactory results" are a lot better than one's I've known in the past! The team spirit seems good as well. We've got a lot of fine players, and Ugbo might just be the one we have to turn a really big bid away from a future less successful team like Barcelona!

I think the cup game has come at a good time a chance to refresh and take the pressure of everyone basically. Weve had a smashing Christmas and new year and picked up a lot of points but playing every five minutes was always going to take it's toll. Our biggest problem now is this transfer window because it opens up old wounds that have barely healed from the last hand grenades o stupid one had thrown ! Let's enjoy the cup game and try not to think that Leeds could murder us after 🤦🏻

I feel for ugbo because i know he cares and he's he trying but that wasn't the time for a sympathy penalty...1 nill in the first half wasn't the time for that the club comes first...if we miss out on the play offs by two points then me?... I'll definitely be thinking back to yesterday.... that aside I'm happy with the teams progress... the spirits there the grit is there the nucleus of a very good team is there.... just shy of a couple of quality individuals especially at the back of being a genuine top six team

How we could do with a Brennan right now but we binned him off same with Urhoghide to Celtic. Both central defensive players who could have filled in now we're struggling but we're shipping them off for free like nobodies business and defence in the last few years has always been our downfall, it's our weakest position IMO
