There are some exceptions to the rule of Rally-F1 drivers, like Robert Kubica (of course). One might say that he only won a single GP racebutit was a race he spectacularily crashed of the year before - Canada. Just before winning Canada he scored 2nd position in Monaco and was leading for some part of the race. Other podiums as well. If not for the accident, he had a very good chance at becoming a Champion. He did win the WRC2 championship in 2013 though and in regular fashion messed with factory drivers in a RRC spec DS3, like his 5th place finish in Germany. Other notable mention is Valteri Bottas, although he competed in local rallies only, I think.

Honestly when i first saw the Mercedes V8 supercar it intrigued me being visually distinct from the other cars mind you this was in 2018 a few years after they left the sport in a league i did run a holden for their one off Supercars championship i didn't place that well because i was still an amateur compared to other drivers who would lap entire seconds faster makes me wonder though what if i drove the Mercedes instead

I always saw the V8 Supercars as the perfect example of Australian Manufacturers chickening out and banning the competition, rather than taking them on. It's very creation was a response to the R32's domination in Group A. "Should we make a car that can beat the GTR? Nah, let's just make it illegal instead." And in the end of the day, V8 Supercars suffered the same fate of the Ozzy car industry. How fitting.

if you think that it's up to luck whether you go nose down off the jump you are incorrect, that happens if you brake last second before the jump and shift the weight of the car to the front, you have to stay in the throttle when you hit the jump even if you're lifting before it

Well considering many regulars like Katsuta or Gus Greensmith Kimi in his first seasons did exceptionally well, I think he has a stage win to his name as well. Crashing well Tanak pushes way beyond limits nowadays.

at 3:00 - its ruuhimäki stage, 10km from my home. originally there was no big jump at the finish.. but actually when you see tailstrikes it is due to driver's fault, not downforce, its because they keep the the throttle wide open, also when they land on nose, its because they brake too much at the jump. correct way is to slightly brake before jump and then keep on throttle.

soo in an Alternate universe, where the P88 broke down and never have done the top speed record, we would see a eaxctly 400 kph Bugatti veyron instead via the Sauber C9 (that or he will make his wondercar with Porsche against the chagrin of his clan to make it an Insult to Injury against Mercedes, which is also based on Stuttgart)
