Should You Move to Kelowna? Canada's New #1 City
What about Dillworth Mountain, or is that part of an area you already mentioned?
@@gcruishank9663 Didn’t have much to say about Dilworth but I would tie it with Glenmore just like Wilden!
@@BradyandJayde ok cool, sounds like Mission is the best in your opinion. Looking to move there and rent a house for a year to check out the area.
Getting crowded, traffic is INSANE going over the bridge in rush hour, LOTS of homeless and drugs, damn hot in July and August but sure, beautiful town.
@@gcruishank9663 The last 1-2 years seemed to have doubled traffic. I would never recommend commuting the bridge on a regular basis for work/home split. Not worth it!
@ Yeah, pick your side and stay there.
So yummy!
What lens and software
@@wifiheem1 sigma 18-50 2.8 and premiere pro!
@ thanks bro ‼️
Sorry, still got zero clue of how much was the cost for accommodation, food, parking or anything. And the loud bmg is literally ruining the already missleading video.
Why film when all trees are naked ugly?
@@lava3475 too busy partying all summer long
Such a great place
@@ErmiaAghaie agreed!
My aunt and uncle lives there since 1955 and 1958. I’m originally from Germany they also, I love it one day I will move to Kelowna.
Don’t use John Yetman from Royal LePage as your realtor or the awful experiences of my life. Biggest regret was ever meeting that person.
Price pls and what company
Great Hiking Choices. However, I would not have included Venus Pool. While it’s is nice, it is really not for “public”. You probably have noticed there is no parking lot. It’s a community neighborhood and resident are frustrated about visitors parking in front of their house: I would replace Venus Pool with Sliding Sands Hike.
Love the honesty
sorry to say, not a very informative vlog. how to book camp, what is itinerary, where to stay, eat, price nothing was informed in detail and no link was provided

The best thing you can do in Kelowna is, LEAVE !
After having lived in Kelowna for 20 years and escaping the insanity a number of years ago, my suggestion is to live and work in the same area to avoid a commute. If you are retired, live close to the things you do the most….grocery store, banks, doctors office, Costco. Basically the less driving you have to do the better. The city is too big for the roadways and that creates a horrible drive through gridlock most of the day and the summer is absolute hell on wheels with the tourists driving all over….
@@bradley7506 it does get super busy here in the summer!
Lower mission is the best area, but just stay there and don’t go anywhere! 😊
Don’t forget the insane traffic because there’s no bypass, and also the rampant homeless issue in the downtown core. It is a beautiful city with a lot to do but there definitely are drawbacks as well
How far it is from the paradise beach
@@dr.samipsheth1905 about a 15 minute ATV ride!
Omg I can't wait to get there. Thanks brother!
No problem!!
What happened to you? Last video 9 months ago.
Still here! Working on some new stuff coming this summer and winter📸
Once you go black….😏
Thank you!
Good video, good information, specific and short. Thank you.
Thanks for watching!
Lived in Kelowna (downtown) when the population was 38,000 and you could count on one hand the number of homeless people. Wouldn't move back - its just an extension the the LMD. People left the LMD to get away from the crime, homelessness etc and what did they do? They brought their woke politics with them and now you have all the problems they tried to get away from.
Rubbish. What does "woke" politics even mean? Seriously, it's annoying when people use terms they dont understand. If you are trying to blame politics for the homeless situation in Kelowna, then take a look at the neoliberal/capitalist policies that hold sway over our entire socio-economic structure. Kelowna has a long history of conservative leaning mayors under the likes of Watler Gray and Stuart and has a long list of Conservative MPs. Are you calling Conservative politicians "woke" now as well?
@@AJ-to8lb Nice try. I don't waste my time anonymous people.
@@Thetruthhurts708 It certainly must have been a "good try" if you have no counter-point to make. But like your handle says, the truth hurts, I just thought with a handle like that you might be able to take it.
How do you get the $8 shuttle fro banff town to both lakes?
The shuttle isn’t directly from the town, it’s at a separate lot about 30 mins down the highway
I live in west Kelowna
No more hikes in rose valley anymore
Last year's fire also took away a couple trails in Glenmore also
Oh I didn’t know that
Lake Country should be included on your list. It’s better connected to Kelowna than Westbank, and for many a better choice.
Can I lentil a bicycle at rail trail ???😮
Yeah there are a couple rental shops near Kal beach in Vernon you can rent from!
@@BradyandJayde Thank you so much 🇨🇦❤️🔥❤️🔥
Waihee ridge trail is beautiful and so worth the workout. Be sure to warm your legs up.
Think about getting more color out of your drone shots. They're very sun washed, 'plain', and grayish. Overexposed. If you don't believe me, compare them side by side with your hand-held shots.
Can you retake this video but with a lavalier mic it's hard to you sometimes. Also the overlay music is too load
Good suggestion! I’ve come a long way with audio quality since this video so maybe an update is warranted
Bought a place in west kelowna 6 months ago, I have lived in Calgary, Edmonton, Squamish, and different locations of the lower mainland and I can honestly say this place is freaking Paradise, especially in the summer.
Couldn’t agree more!
Are the parking fees cash only?
Nope! Cash is best but we used credit card
I hear the Tundra is real cheap.
Did you have an ample supply of gas for eight hours?
Absolutely. For boating around Capri we still came back with over half a tank
i was there 1 day before it happened.. i couldve died.
Glad you are okay!
Hi, we are considering renting a private boat instead of taking water taxis to go from to town. Did you dock/moor/anchor your rental and go into any towns or did you stay out on the water for your allotted 8 hours? If you did use a docking/mooring service, do you mind providing your experience with that and the costs of it? Thanks!
👍👍
Hey mate just wondering what the company is called, looks sick aswell
Yeah they are great!
The company is listed on our amalfi boating video description
What’s company called ?
Westbank had a population of 1350 when we moved there in 1967 from Kelowna and will always be Westbank to me!
👍
umm how to wal half of canada on a budget is more like it
That’s not Kelowna
Just like how Langley isn’t Vancouver, it’s just the nearest major metropolitan area bruh
Go to Ústí nad Labem

Amazing to hear! Kelowna one of the best places to be, we are very lucky!
