Can you give me a run down of how long it took you to complete each section of the course? Ex: starting from registration to taking the exam and then from passing the exam to being fully done with the applied practice course. Thanks!

I studied for around 4-5 months before taking the exam.
After the exam, the applied practice course takes another 5 months I believe but you get your temporary license so you are able to make money and work through that!
So total amount of time is just below a year. Hope this helps Nicole!

@@BradyandJayde That's great to know. Now of course everyone's answers are going to be different but what did you struggle with on the exam? Was is the math, mortgage law, contract law etc .... I'm asking a few people to see if something stands out or if it is really mixed answers. Thanks in advance

@@nicoleb8136 Most people might say the math but that was never an issue for me. I would say the legal structured questions were more difficult

Hi! I have another question specifically about the applied practice course. I believe it is something along the lines of practicing writing listings/purchase contracts etc. Also I know this is when you would start looking for a brokerage but for instance I already know what brokerage I’ll be working at (I already work there as an assistant). Is the applied practice course like you need to check of certain tasks (practicing listings etc), is there a minimum length of time to complete?

@@nicoleb8136 Yes, ideally they would like you to have working with a buyer and seller situation as the last day of the course is a recap of your temporary license.
But it is not required to have these completed as not everyone is capable of getting a listing in that designated time. You still need to answer the questions they give but it would be from a theoretical perspective instead of from experience!
      Hope that makes sense.
