RS2, I own the weebill S and sadly for me not being able to invert was a deal breaker, but I realized it too late. 😢 Still, a very capable little gymbal.
Thanks for the video! Do you think this would be a good beginner gimbal to get? I have a canon r5 with the same 24-70 lens as you - would I also need to get the counter balance weight, if I were to get this gimbal?
Yes if you have the R5 it should be very similar to my setup. Be sure to get the counter weight! I got mine here: www.amazon.ca/SMALLRIG-Counterweight-Compatible-AirCross-Stabilizers/dp/B08NP3HFV6/
why am i not able to access camera functions on gimbal ? i use sony a6600 but im unable to press record from the gimbal itself while shooting videos as it doesn't work. i even tried connecting to sony in the gimbal settings but it didn't work. what am i supposed to do in this case ?
Do you have the latest firmware installed onto the weebill? Here’s a compatibility list of functions as of the newest update: oss.zhiyun-tech.com/zyplay/instructions_edit/supportmodel/WEEBILL-S-Camera-Compatibility-List.pdf
@BradyandJayde yess i just installed the latest update few days ago but even then i'm unable to access the record button on the gimbal. On the compatibility list it says that i cannot control shutter speed of aperture on the gimbal for sony a6600 but i cant even access record function through gimbal.
Torn between this or the new Weebill 3S for my Z7II for my 1st gimbal. I've found the S as low as $160, but hear a lot about the locks failing. I almost jumped on the Weebill 2 on clearance yesterday until I saw the horror stories on Reddit about them not charging out of the box.
I would certainly do the 3S if you plan on filming short form content with portrait mode. That feature I am envious of! I personally have not ran into any problems with the locks so far thankfully
Everything breaks eventually. If you handle the locks with care, they'll last as long as the gimbal itself. I've seen people use this gimbal for 4 years already, and both it and the locks are still good.
Small but mighty! Weebill S vs the RS2... Who wins?

agree with you there, this is a nice lightweight gimbal for travel, but the rs2 is my pro job gimbal@@franciscolinares8031
Thank you for the video. Is this a good enough upgrade coming from an old 2018 Crane plus for the sony a6500?
Absolutely. It should be able to handle the a6500 with ease
@@BradyandJaydeThanks a lot
Can anyone get the Weebill S control features on the R6 via USB C?
You can refer this list: zhiyun-website-shenzhen.oss-cn-shenzhen.aliyuncs.com/instruction/20230905/1693883175245-XejtQAxF.pdf
Hey, great video, may I suggest you lower the background music.
Its too lowed and its almost the same lever as your voice in the beginning specially
Thanks for the suggestion! Were you watching on phone or desktop?
Is this a good gimbal for a canon 80D. Or would moza aircross 2 , or FeiyuTech SCORP-C. Be better for a canon 80D with a 50mm lens
It would work well with the 80d! And I assume you’re using the canon 50mm? You should be good!

@@vageeshsharma. Did you choose PC remote on your camera usb setting and choose sony off on gimbal menu?
@@HellenLee-yz2oj yess i did
@@vageeshsharma. There's a TH-cam tutorial for that one, as far as i remember i set it to a7iii mode then it connected to my zve10
I got a nikon d3300, would I be able to use this gimbal with this camera to start Filming small movie projects or car cinematic feature
The gimbal supports the 5D mark IV which is heavier and wider than the D3300. As long as your lens is not too heavy your Nikon should work just fine!
@@BradyandJayde would you say the weebil or the dji ronin sc is better overall and is the difference that significant
@@varmanjeyaeshanger7259 I’ve never used the ronin SC so I can’t say for sure. But I do hear the ronin sc is better build quality
what you think for fujifilm X-T200? I know that is not compatible, but i have this camera now can i make some?
Judging by the weight and dimensions it should work! But yeah you won’t be able to connect to the camera for recording and focus capabilities

Is it worth it up to now? I want to use it for the wedding.
It’s a great gimbal for weddings because the lightweight frame is easy on the shoulders for all-day shooting! What is your camera and lens?
@@BradyandJayde i have Canon r6 with 85mm Samyang lens
@@webstermickey69 you shouldn’t have a problem with balancing that setup for weddings. The 85 Samyung is lighter than my current setup👍🏼
