Legendary beetles? Oo This is a thing in PoE2? Wow never seen one. And sorry correct you but not sorry.... its not irrelevant if you farm in normal or cruel because when you want to farm gear for cruel you have to do this in cruel because items scalling with your diff. Maybe first make sure you are 100% knowing what you are telling in your vidz. This will help beginners and new player inside PoE-Universe a lot. Cheers

For me, it was the fact that I was spending hours like you trying to masterwork my gear and I was getting nowhere. So I decided to go back to my old main, but the problem is my old main (necro) was nowhere near as powerful as SB and I just got bored. Then POE2 hit and I just can't go back now.

I feel your pain. Intensely. I am the definition of a casual player but I've been with the series since D2. I'm actually ok with having to think about gold... As long as I get something good out of it. There are no good gear farm mechanics so you never get the equipment you need. Then, when you finally get it, you brick it at the mystic. If you make it past the mystic, you brick it at the blacksmith. Then you spend days trying to get enough to masterwork and then hours rolling and re-rolling just hoping to get the stat you need. Now you have ONE piece of gear that you can use. Joy! They should: Get rid of Interminable Hordes Make nightmare dungeons the farm for great gear Make Hecktides the farm for keys and boss summoning material Pits are Ok the way they are but it would be nice if they were bigger and more open Let mystic and blacksmith do what they do now but tone down or eliminate the RNG. Maybe they would use resources from NMD or pits? Do SOMETHING to make this don't to play. ANYTHING! I'm really thinking about going back to D3.

Honestly dont see any point playing the game till the add another new class in a season or two,doubt they gonna do a rehaul of the masterys and abilities.

And this is why I lasted 1.5 seasons. It was a turn off from the beginning, paid 150cdn for the platinum and it was definitely a platinum POS. You grind and don’t get a single platinum coin, you don’t earn a new season, they force you spend real money every season to join that season. It’s been my major disappointment of gaming. Even if they refunded my money I wouldn’t play this game for free. I wish I could gift it to someone but it’s a reminder to have on my pc to not buy into the hype. Got POE2 yesterday and it is challenging, but awesome. It’ll take work but I have time. I won’t be wasting it ever again on a blizzard game, Blizzard is dead to me.

That is why I quit after I realized the skill trees are limited to a max of three diff builds. Did it season one then two. Came back to check. Nothing new even in expansion this game is a huge step back from d3. Poe2 incoming see you there.

PS: Poe2 is good , I'm playing both couch co-op and having a blast. Waiting for poe2 launch on ps5 playing couch co-op D3 on a ps4 pro getting baked with brother. Then sobered up as poe2 whooped our butts with D4 breaks for World bosses , helping friends. Life is good

Blizzard are champions to create artificial playtime, same thing for WoW, you got addicted to your weekly reset vault to get your high dopamine shot every reset and then you are doing your 15 th heroic raid run to not see your bis drop, or when it drops you roll either for 3 or 98 but you will see always some guy roll 100, it's ridiculous and there is no way for anti RNG badluck, fuck this game and this company.

Bro I feel your pain. Blizzard designed the game that way. They know. Blizzard is and has been notorious for creating a problem in their own game only to turn around and sell you the solution.

This is so weird. Im not experiencing any of these problems. I have almost 2 billion gold. Im not even sure how i got all that gold. All my gear is fully masterworked. Ive found so many mythic unique's that i just salvage them without a thought now. Im having a lot of fun with D4 and it upsets me that others are having such terrible luck.

you forgot farming bosses so u can get chunks and rawhide in between farming gold and obducite, days anmd days of hours and hours for absolutely no reward or progression at all i feel so disrespected for my time, just sitting online pulling on the slot arm PoE is amazing man, come have some fun and leave this shyt behind

Along similar lines, I'm trying to better my Quill Volley, run HUNDREDS of boss runs on Tourment IV and I haven't seen anything better then a 1 GA Kepeleke. I haven't seen anything better then a 1 GA Legendary drop either. HUNDREDS of hours grinding and nothing. I stopped playing and really don't have an interest in continuing to grind. Many of these other videos show incredible equipment/builds and I can't even find a decent 2 GA glove or pants much less a decent Kepeleke or ring. Seems like there should be some formula like number of hours without a good drop should yield one. I think they call it a Mercy Rule?

I stopped playing because I find it insane to run the same things over and over and over trying to get the same item with just more stars on it. I think 3 star and 4 star gear should drop in a certain torment level, that isnt doable without maxing your 1 and 2 star gear out first, something like that. its just a random mess. Sometimes I get the blacksmith crits on my first to 3rd try, but then other times its just a blackhole of resources. And, at the end of the day. I am farming and putting my time into a class that is going to be nerfed beyond belief. So all my hard work is for nothing. The SB will be absolute crap next year. We will never do quadrillions of damage like we have this season again. I have achievements on steam that say only 0.6 % of players have achieved. I guess I'm doing pretty good, but man, its just a repetitive mess.

Farming obductite from Infernal hordes and nightmare dungeons to masterwork gear is exhausting but satisfying at the same time. I only do the hordes for whispers now because after getting so many (200) aether chests they're dropping junk gear that I scrap. Elites and nightmare dungeon bosses should give more obductite. I love Diablo and Santuary but sometimes you have to not play for a day or two to keep from burnout.

I stopped playing after I finished the expansion content and most of the end game. I loved D4, played all the seasons and have a max lvl character of every class with good gear. The expansion was lack luster at best and I just got bored of the game. I can only play a game for so long, a year is far longer than just about any other game I've played.

d4 has builds?

I play many different games on my Pc :) ,Diablo IV ,PoE and so on.

I stopped buying Blizzard products when d3 launched. I did not even buy the expansion with the necro. I knew then Bliz was done making quality products by that point.

D4 is the best thing that happened to PoE. So many people discovered they like ARPG due to D4. Then realized that PoE is better in every possible way. Which is funny since PoE got made after D3 went live. The developers were so disappointed, they made PoE lol

On the verge of quitting Diablo myself, and I've been playing since the closed beta. My main STILL doesn't have an ancestral pair of boots or a ring that I need. Way too many variables on items, and throw in the tempering/bricking and master working issues you've mentioned and it frustrates the hell out of me. Then, in a couple of weeks when the new season starts, it'll all be for nothing and the frustration will start all over again. Life's too short.

besides that masterworking is a really bad system, the real bottleneck is obducite...I don't want to waste 2 hours farming obducite in hordes (boring and underwhelming imho) to only be able to go and have a couple rolls - maybe. Then you'll start running out of veiled crystals, iron chunks, rawhide... it's just not worth spending time on this game sadly. Gold is not too big of an issue if you're trading but the costs in general, both gold and materials are outrageous especially for an average person that cannot throw 100+ hours a week into this shitty game.
