Depending on the specifications, a Snapdragon 855 or Exynos 2200 or higher is required. Will I be able to activate the camera with my device? Thanks for your help.

Thanks for posting. So when you are using your Q3, you set up the camera to shoot jpg and raw, and you set the shooting profile to b&w? BTW, when shooting what resolution setting are you using?

Love b&w. Been shooting Tri-x and Tmax 400 for years. I just started doing b&w on my colour digital camera recently. It’s fun. Thanks for your tips..

Black and white High contrast photography is what I like the most.

Hi Gefen! Great video! I have pretty much the same process, great advise. RAW+JPG, ISO higher (but I would go higher than you, with post processing you can remove well, or just use it like grain in film for an effect), I like to use higher contrast in mine as well. typically shoot with HC B&W and protect highlights in my meter on my Q3's. One thing I am troubled with is your background music level while you're talking. Your voice is a little muffled most of the time and low freq/volume and music is hard to filter out. Just my old rock & roll ear opinion.

To me black and white stand for the basic contradictions and conflicts in life that we can't resolve or get around. That's why black and white photos have the potential to be more meaningful in an existential sense than colorful photos. Best Christmas wishes from Germany to Israel

You can shoot RAW only and have your images on your camera in B&W. That way you can edit to B&W in post. Just set to DNG only and set the Jpeg to B&W.. Works.

Love you black and white images but then again I may be biased as I love black and white photography or should I say monochrome :-). I do agree that on occasions a colour image can be the better choice such as your shot of the flowers on the street but the lampshades I still preferred the B&W image. One tip I can add for shooting B&W is to use filters, specially yellow, orange, and red filters are the most common choices. Yellow can darken the sky, red increase the contrast and orange filter can help with warm smooth skin tones.

There is a special magic to B&W photos 😍. Many is the times boring photos got interesting when converted to B&W. Anyway, love the video and the great tips. Thanks and keep going ✌

I use the same Canon printer, It's great for creating small prints to hang up.

Hi Would that iso number be the same on the Sony R5 which has a 61 mo sensor? I don’t tend to put mine above iso320 in case I get noise

Thanks for this video - it's timely, and extremely important. You're correct -- most photographers end the process when they upload their photos to the computer; but going through with printing helps us learn so much. I've begun printing too - and just completed a photo book as well. Glad to see you're printing at home -- it's a beautiful thing to do. I too have been wanting to create a zine or book. Watching the www.youtube.com/@theartofphotography channel he shows many books and discusses them. Also if you interested Hudson Henry offers printing workshops. Not many photographers do this that I'm aware of. I've taken a few of his photography workshops and there are excellent. Nice review and intro. Good luck with your printing.

Inspiring video again! Just bought an Epson ET-8850, up to A3+. I like to learn how to print. Great prints even it’s dye inc but makes it cheaper to print. Nice IKEA lamp by the way.

Great topic and I agree in this digital age we really should be printing out our work and seeing it on paper or in photo zine/books. I would love to invest in a printer but as you say printing is a whole new area and there are so many printers out there. Coming up with a project or a theme to focus on does certainly give a great challenge but often sometimes as hard coming up with a good project as carrying it out.

Great topic and very inspiring. I want to try a project about the Cote d`Azur where I spot hidden gems of landscape & nature 🙂

3:45 I don't think you "invest" money into an electronic camera - you may be investing your time, energy and money into creating beautiful images but I think it's a trap to think of the tool as an investment - unless you can sell it for more than the purchase value. I think we can appreciate and enjoy a Leica camera as a luxury experience, but we just accept that we're paying for that experience. Marketers love us to romanticise our equipment, but photographers should focus on the quality of their expression. I now use a Google Pixel 8 Pro because it works as an always available image capture device. I love the ergonomics of a beautiful camera, but I need a camera with that *and* perfect integration with a smartphone.

You didn’t talk anything substantial about the Leica though. Leica lenses are certainly special, and the reason why people buy into them. The fact that Q3 lens has both physical aperture ring and a focus ring with depth of field markings is just something “out of this world”. That said, As far as sensors are concerned, they are just last gen Sony sensors with some preparatory Lica colour profiling. Lastly, if you are cropping that much, probably should just buy a Zoom lens on an interchangeable lens system. Another option is to go for something like a GRiiix and then use a 1.5x tele-converter and get to 75mm equivalent.

Great review! I have the X100v but I never use it for street photography. I use it on professional portrait shoots where I don’t want a bigger body and for family shoots where kids may be scared of a bigger camera. I also shoot with a Nikon Zf. I like the 28mm focal length for street and travel but I prefer the 35 for closer portraits. All of these cameras are amazing. This video make me think I need a 28mm in my life.

Like the masters say: photography is 99% failure. About negative comments. I have a channel myself, not this one. My recommendation would be, try to shift your perception. Every bad comment is good for you. It's engagement and the algorithm likes engagement. It doesn't care about if they are stupid, mean or good and friendly.
