A $100 Upgrade For A $100 Gaming PC!
Man this was a fun (and painful) video to make! But I am just glad it is finished. I feel like a lot of more fun stuff can be done with the Dell Optiplex, and I have plans in the future for that. I have you all to thank, and I hope you enjoy this video to the very least, despite how messy it got at times! Haha!

มุมมอง 217K2 หลายเดือนก่อน
If I took to Facebook Marketplace or just other sites outside of Ebay, I bet I could have gotten better deals. But in the end, this was a fun build, and I hope you enjoyed the video. I wonder if people will want a upgrade video after this one; we will see! Now, I must sleep, my bed needs me. Oh, I will put a link to the drivers in the next day or so. Too busy at the moment, but I will promise t...

มุมมอง 14K3 หลายเดือนก่อน
The King has returned! And so have I with a new video! A throwback if you will, to my first ever video. Don't watch it, it sucked, unlike this one. Which I think this GPU turned out pretty good. I wonder if you will all agree though. Let me know whatcha guys think! If you wanna keep up or chat with other peeps in the community, join my discord, you might even run into me. When The Predecessor Is Better Than The Successor
มุมมอง 33K4 หลายเดือนก่อน
A card from 4 years ago in the came class, out competing its successor? It's more likely than you think! The RX 5300, is a splendid card, and I really wanted to show it off and talk about it while also finding excuses to give you to not get an RX 6300. I went, all out, on this video and learned a lot. I might start making me editing simpler since it seems to suck up a lot of energy on these vid...

Man around six months later, it is finally done, and I can move onto another project. I am glad I got to review this phone, and can't wait to review the next one if everyone enjoys this video. I got a bunch of videos that are ready to be edited and voiced, so I shouldn't be gone for over another month like last time (No promises!) but yeah. This TCL was great. If you wanna keep up or chat with ...

มุมมอง 4.9K7 หลายเดือนก่อน
Man oh man! This one took a bit, to be fair, I did get preoccupied with life (what else is new) but used it as an excuse to learn some new stuff. Hopefully it made the video better, and hopefully you will stick around because I get two video two videos that are mostly done that are on the way. Let me know if you guys like the editing by the way, I think it is fun and silly. If you wanna keep up...

มุมมอง 6K8 หลายเดือนก่อน
Man oh man, this video took way longer than usual to produce. I'm sure if you watch you will see sorta why. I am satisfied enough with it though. Shout-outs to Iceberg Tech, he rocks and his content is rather enjoyable *sips tea* but also, shout-outs to you for reading the description! I still am on schedule to release 3-4 videos really soon, so look out for those ones when they do release. Hon...
Building A Budget PC "Case": Part 2
มุมมอง 1.1K9 หลายเดือนก่อน
Man, I wonder what will be in store for part three, because either this case is going to end up a hot mess, or turn into a pretty neat end product once that video releases. For once, I am actually pretty happy with how this video came out, despite some of the compromises I had to make. None the less, I know it's fine because I have 3-5 videos lined up for release in the coming months (weeks eve...
Building A Budget PC "Case": Part 1
มุมมอง 2.3K11 หลายเดือนก่อน
I'm not the first person to give this a shot, nor am I the last one to do it as cheaply (or badly lol) as you will see in this video! Sorry about the radio silence, life had me busy, but I am definitely still around to make more videos. In fact, I have 3-4 on the back burner currently. Just catching up to them so I can release a ton of new content very soon. As per usual, I am tired. So, I slee...
The Best/Worst Budget GPU
มุมมอง 6Kปีที่แล้ว
Ah, sleep deprived once again, all just to upload a mediocre video. Just kidding of course, I think this video is not too bad. Obviously there is plenty that I wish I could have done to improve it or make it better, but if you watched it already, you can maybe guess that I want to do something new. Other than that, this GPU was quite the surprise, and I hope to find more hardware like it to sha...
The Best ITX GPU on the Used Market!
มุมมอง 7Kปีที่แล้ว
This video was a blast to make, and it came out pretty ok I think! The only thing I wish I could have improved on was the intro but hey, I am doing this all by myself so, I think it isn't too bad. Man do I have a lot of videos to film and finish before the end of this year. Hopefully you will stick along for the ride as I finish them one by one. As always, thanks for the recent support, I hope ...
Side of the Road Office PC: Part 2
มุมมอง 4.8Kปีที่แล้ว
Man! This took a little while to finish. Mainly because life has gotten in the way as usual. But, this video is done, and I am not sure if there will be a part 3. But if there is enough interest, I can promise something interesting if that happens. More so, I am very thankful for all the recent support, and I should be slowly, but surely, uploading more regularly in the near future. I might eve...
Side of the Road Office PC: Part 1
มุมมอง 23Kปีที่แล้ว
This is making me reminisce back then when I first ran into the Gaming PC that I found on the side of the road. Man that was a crazy thing to see. And, it is still crazy that I am running into PC's and stuff just lying on the curb to this day! Hopefully, this isn't the end, and that I run into more stuff that people throw out. And yes, this video was posted a bit late, but I promise (no I don't...
What Linus Missed About The GT 1030
มุมมอง 36Kปีที่แล้ว
I hope people don't mistake this video as an attack on Linus or anything like that. I just thought there could be better alternatives to the GT 1030 for roughly the same performance but with a much lower price tag. Ah, well, whatever I guess. I am just glad it is done and that I can move onto the next video. I'm pretty tired. Gotta stop the all nighter stuff. I hope you guys enjoyed this one! I...

If you are patient enough, and spend enough time searching, you can get a lot for little money, but you have to be aware of some downsides. I've found a full pc build from hp for 200 €, which had a Intel Core i7 6700, 16GB DDR4 2133, 250GB SSD with Windows 10 Home fresh preinstalled and a GeForce GT 430. The downside was the buid in PSU, which only had 180W! I was shocked, it was the original hp PSU, that was meant to power only the components, that are buid in and nothing more, so no upgrades with that PSU. Luckily, i build random pcs as a hobby (and sell them from time to time), so i had some spare parts right at hand. Changed the PSU to a 450W bequiet, and replaced the GT 430 with a short Radeon RX 480 4GB HP OEM (that i got for "dirt" cheap, because of the horrible dirty condition of it and a broken fan, which i replaced). The thing with the PCIe Slot was another thing i had to consider in, to what GPUs i can use with this pc, because right behind the PCIe slot are the Sata ports, so if i want to use them (i build in another ssd later on), i am limited to use only short Graphic cards. Even if this pc actually worked fine with original parts, i had to throw another 100 € at it, and some time and stress (especially with some bios settings and certain restrictions, i had to work with), to make it a neat machine, that is able to play almost all games (some newer games only on low/medium to get playable framerates at 1080p). Some prebuilds can be a mess to deal with and need some workarounds and tinkering to make them work to your likings.
I buy alot of surplus dells from my state surplus auctions. A ton of these units come with these kinds of dell oem amd and a few nvidia cards. I'm not home right now but I if you message me I could go thru thru them and if you want to test them them I'd be willing to send them over. just shoot me a message if you want...
The crazy thing is 10k subs for this channel??? Deserves like 100k
Intro was cool 💪🏾
I have recently come into possession of a Dell Poweredge server that is set up for SAS drives, if you're interested in playing with one.
thumbs up for such a great terrible intro 😄
😱Come on man, it's a miracle, I mean a gaming PC on a 100 dollar budget, it's wonderful
Intro was a banger fr fr no cap
Great video ! You got my sub !
Lovely channel, awesome intro (fr I dig it), and it was the honesty that you showed which made me sub, please keep it up :D
My keyboard alone is 200$ 100$ is Not enough for anything....
my first pc build was a ryzen apu to start
The Hitachi drive is from 2009 in a Win 7 machine. Totally possible it was the original drive.
Wow that's my pc
Bidfta has some HP desktops with 8000 series Intel i7/16 gb ram. Got mine for 30 :0
Hey man can u make a budget pc with a GT 1030 or any other Gpu under 50$ ?
I used an 2nd hand MSI H97 gaming 3 + i5 4570T + 24GB DDR3 + Geforce 620 2GB + Hp EX900 256GB NVME + Thermal take Lite Power 450W. What should I expect
Great video, would love to see you upgrade it to its max potential down the road.
oh shit 😅
bro sounds like nanami
Glad i found ur channel randomly today, love these low budget videos. You definitely deserve more subs. Oh and the intro with the crayon feels so comfy.
i love ur editing style and those little drawing looking animations i think? They are great
if you make a 300 dollar gaming pc that can run high end games at 60+ fps i will pee my pants.
Great video!
i like yer thinking. tho i tend to look for mobo's that let you oc chips, or cheap unlocked chips like the g3258, 10 bucks, and its 2 cores will run about as fast as a 4790k's cores when oc'd from 3.2 to 4.4 stock cooler. a lotta 1866 ddr3 can oc to 2400, i see 10$ 8gb sticks of kingston's i know to work. got a 750ti oc'd too and running sf6 1080 at not too ugly settings, they're prolly 30$? i wouldn't go as old as this 2014 stuff, but when i checked what it'd cost to rebuild a budget pc i made someone a few years ago, it's not much anymore, and it still works great! be sure to tweak your 560 with msi afterburner--you can eek out more fps without increasing any voltages, therefore no threat to hardware. just see how fast you can set things before it gets confused!
i5 4570, my first gaming CPU, ahh those were the days...
Glad I found your channel, entertaining video , I'm gonna try this build
Thunder force 4 music hell yeah
Thunder force 4 music hell yeah
It would be interesting to see if you can do a "blueprint" PC from the exact same you spent on the two videos. Meaning can you get a modern Ryzen 5000 or 7000 series where the path to upgrade and stay on the same platform is the same? That was one thing with my old intel builds. Always got stuck on the motherboard and had to basically redo every time.
Karl would be proud
After that ad, I'll buy it.
why not buy a gtx 970 tho. it's like so much better for the money
Back in 2019 two office buildings I do work in tossed out a number of these Optiplex mini tower computers. Between the two buildings I got roughly 50 units (which just scratched the number of machines they tossed out) that I salvaged, replaced thermal paste, upgraded the drives to SSD, added Wifi PCIe cards (or WiFi USB dongles), and added video cards to. Each had i7 4770/4790 CPUs, 16GB (4x8GB) RAM, I installed 256GB/512GB 2.5" SSD and anything between a GTX 1060 6GB up to GTX 1070 Ti (grabbed a number of mining cards in bulk for cheap). A couple I upgraded the case cooling (120mm fan modded onto the front of the case), CPU cooling (Vetroo V5), PSU (Thermaltake 600 watt white) and went up to a GTX 1080. When the GPU/computer shortage came the following year, I wasn't able to keep up with the demand for these machines. Since then I've done a lot of salvaging of other machines from office buildings when they upgrade, earlier this year I got several Dell Optiplex SFF machines ranging from i7 7700 up to i5 10500. Amazing how much good stuff is just tossed out.
You don't need to mount SSD's, just stick them to the PSU with electrical tape
at this point i think raspberry pi would be the way to go at that point
One big mistake here is not running Linux. I feel the performance gains would be huge.
You don't always need faster components, just play older games. Get that old Quake 2 running with all the settings maxed out.
15:48 dudes got a pube hair of mouse space
If you save up 100 more dollars you can buy a series S that does 1440 and 120fps 😂 or if your lucky you could probably buy a used one for 150$ every now and then I’ll see one on market place for that but they go pretty quick as soon as they drop below 200$
I know nothing about pcs and the video is really confusing to me... but looks cool I guess.
I'm not american so idk where you can find the same pc for 50 euros.
