@Animalkisser, oh, you mean me sharing the challenges I faced when I moved there? Well, that stop painted on the ground is meant for pedestrians because there is no stop sign at that place by the fish store. There were no pedestrians wanting to cross so you don't stop at that point. That other stop sign is for the left turn, not for going straight as we were. Appreciate you watching.

But thanks to your videos I found out about Carini, which looks lovely. I guess I need to rent before buying property there. Planning on moving toward the end of next spring.

Oh, that's wonderful! The western part of the island is not perfect, but you don't have to deal with the vocanic ash, smoke, slippery roads from ash, and all the rest of it. Yes, renting would be best to get a feel for it. That's a great plan. Keep us posted! 😍 ~ Carol

People were accusing us of 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 giving a positive, 𝓻𝓸𝓶𝓪𝓷𝓽𝓲𝓬𝓲𝔃𝓮𝓭, and unrealistic view of Italy/Sicily, and they wanted the full picture. Yep, there is definitely balance on this channel, as a whole. Because folks want to guage their expections on the real world; not some fairy tale. However, the only thing on that list of truths that really bothers me is the trash littered in many areas on the island. 𝗪𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗼𝗼𝗻. @TheSicilianLife When I was searching for a rental, I received an email with beautiful photos of a rental for only 500 a month. Then the person wanted me to send 2,000 euros before taking me to physically see the rental. I slept on it for 24 hours and realized that it was a scam! Who sends money before viewing the property? I wrote back letting them know that this was a scam and I would alert the authorities. They never wrote back! 😃

@@franchuba4995 Greetings from San Cataldo, Sicily. I live in a small town, with few tourists and can walk pretty much everywhere in my village, as I don't drive. 25,000 people in my village. Next to Caltanisetta, which is on the map. However, it probably depends on what you want to do while you are in Sicily. From here you can take a bus to Caltanisetta and from there a bus to Palermo, Catania, Agrigento, etc. Hope this helps. 😃
