How to finally get off of Suboxone for good!

How to finally get off of Suboxone for good!
Im 2 weeks going cold turkey off subs....im living in hell .The withdrawals are so bad
5 days off suboxone now dts hitting me hard what do I do
Congratulations on the five days! Just keep dealing with it honestly. It's not going to last much longer.
@@SuboxoneRecovery-kd3it thank you. My anxiety and mood swings are so bad. I thought I was a strong woman till this. The Dr. Put me on pain pills for my back and I told him I wanted to stop taking them. So he put me on suboxone this was 10 years ago. Call me naive but I had NO idea how hard it would be to get off of. Anyone that's been through it congratulations it is hard. I'm still staying strong. Thank you so much. We should all encourage one another. Life is hard enough without this crap. Love and prayers for ya'll. Stick together, stay strong and lots of prayers for all of us.
@@SuboxoneRecovery-kd3it had to go to er Friday and had to take it thought I was gonna die. Found a doc willing to help me get off of it slower. Was told I tapered down too fast. We shall see.
@@user-rs2mr5yk2gHi congratulations on your 5days this will be my 2nd week going cold turkey off subs. Yes it's hell but the 1st week is the hardest , I literally wanted to die. Just think about it like this you already going on a week and you didn't put yourself through this pain just to go back again. It gets easier the second week. All the physical symptoms like hot flashes, restless legs, diarrhea, irritability goes away. Now you'll just be dealing with insomnia and a little depression then your 3rd week you'll be feeling like a new person. Don't go back.
Been out since January. Keep killing it bro
Awesome man, you keep at it as well!
I’m tapering down to 0.4mg, going to 0 on Tuesday. I’m really struggling with restless legs, any advice? X
Congratulations! The best advice I can give you, is just deal with, and know that it WILL eventually go away, most likely within two weeks after completely jumping off
Get some liposomal vitamin c 2200 mg capsules and start taking 2 of them to see how you feel, then take more until you feel good. It will help so much. You can take them on an empty stomache for it to work quicker. Hang in there it will get better. look up mega dosing vitamin c for withdrawal, it works.
Guaranteed caffeine withdrawals made it worse.
Oh absolutely did
I jumped from 1mg to 0,5mg this week. I have nightmares and I’m a bit lazy…what to do man 😉 I don’t want a life with any opiates etc etc
Yep, that sounds like exactly what I went through, nightmares and sluggish. Just keep going! I jumped off at .5 mg, and was a little rough for a little less than two weeks. The sooner you jump off, the sooner you'll be back to normal!
Im 52, health issues galore, and am jumping off soon. Im too old for this crap. I went from a strip a day to an 8th and smaller and l am dealing with minor withdrawal symptoms. Ive kicked opiates once before and cant believe Im here again. Im in Subs due ti getting off a yesr long rx of Tramadol. I had no idea withdrawals came with that.
You'll do great getting off of them, it's just a matter of doing it, and dealing some discomfort, and the mental aspect. Main thing is to just keep pushing through it all. I wish you the best of luck!
Congrats brother. Im prescribed three 8mg suboxone a day and have been getting them for 6 years . Before that i was going to methadone clinic bout 4 years before finding a sub dr. I would love to get off subs but i feel like they are a crutch ill lean on rest of my life. I know the withdraws arent no joke so hearing ur story is awesome cause it takes allot to make yourself stop especially when ur sick and know all u gta do is take a sub. Good job and hope you keep going strong. God knows wed all be allot better off without all that shit in our bodys. I often think bout how rough the meds are on my liver and kidneys. I recently passed a stone myself and it was so relieving to know that pain is over. Much love and best of luck to you.
Thanks for watching! I hope someday you get to get off everything, it's such a good feeling to jump that hurdle, but if you're on it the rest of your life, there's nothing wrong with that either! It's all about being well, and being able to live your life to the best possible. Yes, kidney stones are HORRIBLE. They say, that's one of the worst pains a human can feel. Good luck with your journey, feel free to come back to the channel!
Why don't you take a blood test to see if it's hurting your liver or your kidneys? Then you'll know doesn't have to be a mystery
Congrats 🎉 I can do it too! I am down to 1mg a day Kidney stones suck. Btw, did you have a low achy pain on your kidney before that happened?
Awesome, keep it going, and congrats! Yes it started as an achy pain, that turned into much worse pain
@@SuboxoneRecovery-kd3it yea I have a tiny 2cm polyp on my kidney that I'm thinking is a kidney stone. It aches mainly when I take a higher dose Suboxone I think it was exacerbating it.
What caused or can cause a kidney stone??
congrats brother keep it up
Thanks John!
Congratulations
Thank you Melanie!
1/8 of a milligram I jumped off without any prproblems except I struggled to sleep ever night
Sleep comes back!
The no sleeping is brutal!
That's like one of the main things in my opinion. If you could just sleep right, you'd feel so much better!
Just hit day 171, coming up on 6 months. It's been a nightmare of ups and downs. My biggest complaint is the anxiety and stomach problems. Hopefully it gets better soon, I've been ready to go to the psych ward countless times throughout the last few months. But i already had an underlying anxiety problem before this, so idk. No subs, no drugs, alcohol, caffeine, or anything else except nicotine and psych meds.
I hope things get better for you soon! Congratulations on six months!
Your my hero. I’m only on day 7 and there’s no way i could go to work
You can do it! I wish you the best. Keep in trucking!
I worked in the Louisiana summer heat while getting off in 2006. Idk how I made it.
170 days, almost at 6 months. Its cyclical, so right now im okay. All last week was terrible. Its anxiety and sweating, diarrhea, stomach bloated, and depression. PAWS sucks.
You need to detox heavy metal and do parasite cleansing and liver cleansing .
i want to quit kratom by using suboxne then this video pop out.. kratom really hurt.can't sleep my back hurt, restless leg, yawning
Sounds like classic opiate withdrawal! You'll be able to get through it!
Day 4
Awesome! I hope things are going good for you!
Been on 8mg for 12 years .. alot of times took 1 1/2 or 2 subs a day in that time … last 3 months i just went down to half a sub … and finally got a great opportunity that will change my life and decided to cold turkey this bullshit once and for all … im just about 5 days in … cant sleep.. its 4:39 am … im crying inside… my beautiful wife and mother are helping me tremendously though … im sticking with it and not going to give up .. i want to be free
Take sublocade almost 0 withdrawal
If you can afford it
That's what I've heard! But it does cost money.
@@SuboxoneRecovery-kd3it most insurance covers it now
The best way is to go from methadone to suboxone. Methadone is a 17 day kick of intense pain and madness, suboxone is much easier. It's the way. Methadone is near impossible to detox on. Sleep won't come for 7 or 8 days then maybe 3 hrs a night it's what causes the insanity
I've heard methadone is very hard to kick.
I have graduated from Suboxone to Sublocade and it has been a lifesaver. I know it's not for everyone, but if you're struggling to get off of Suboxone it might be worth speaking to your doctor about it.
Clonidine helps out tremendously, so does Gabapentin. I find that opiate withdrawl is worst. But yeah still pretty bad. An you will get bad back pain.
Opiate withdrawal isn't fun that's for sure!
Good for you brother am going for it starting today wish me luck
Good luck, I hope everything is going good!
Thank you for posting this. Thank you so so much!
I hope it helps!
Kratom worked for my brother. The internet puts out a lot of lies to keep people from getting well.
Whatever works!
Kratom was my gateway drug. Sooner than later I was popping Oxy on top.
I'm proud of you
Thank you, and thanks for watching!
How’s everything going?
It's going good! Over a year and a month off. I need to make a video!
@@SuboxoneRecovery-kd3it that’s great news! Yes, please keep us updated!
Thank you for your tips it helped alot from England 🎉
I'm glad it helped! Thanks for watching!
Dude I would have turned right the fuck around and called off work lol
😂 it was definitely a rough day that day
Thank you for your testimony. I was on up to 16 mg. I am down to 6 mg daily. I am on my taper journey. I'm giving myself as long as I need to taper. I need to function and run two businesses while I do this. I need hope and encouragement and thank you SO much for your videos. Love and gratitude,
You'll be just fine! It's not a fun journey, but there's tougher things to go through in life, that's for sure. Once you get to the lower mgs it's a little tougher, but you can still function in your daily life. Go slow once you start feeling withdrawal when you decrease, then when you're ready, jump off, and fight through it. You'll get there I know it!
@@SuboxoneRecovery-kd3it Thank you so much for your encouragement. These videos are SO important so folks like me and others know and understand.. this is possible. I WILL be chemical free.
I hope your doing good. And if not that's ok. Either way hope you are ok. Sending love to you brother.
I'm doing good! I'm officially off 1 year and 1 month. I just haven't done a video in awhile just haven't had time. Will do an update soon. Hope you are doing well also!
@SuboxoneRecovery-kd3it thank you for the reply. I hope you enjoy the summer.
I'm snorting this shit
I snorted that shit for years, even the strips, melted it in a drop of water and snorted that. Until I got a horrible sinus infection.
We all do...
Suboxone saved my life but it’s an evil drug in itself. They have to come up with a better treatment for opioid dependence recovery. Suboxone is not the answer, it’s harder to come off it than the opioid itself.
Wow, day 280 sober. What a milestone. You are truly inspiring. So proud of you. Godspeed.
1 year, and 1 month now! Thank you!
You still sober ???
Yessir, over a year now!
*Symptoms are the worst in the first 72 hours of Suboxone withdrawal. This is when most physical symptoms are experienced*
I would agree with that!
*This is the most delicate time after stopping Suboxone use*
Agree!
I tried taking the Sub route but for whatever reason, they did not work from me. I used Kratom which I will have to admit, I still use. It definitely helps me A TON! I now have a great life(in my eyes at least). I have a good job, health and wellness is a big part of my life, I have a wonderful lady with a nice home for us. Just living life and enjoying it man. Much better than the life before thats for dam sure!
Sounds good to me! As long as you're doing well!
Congrats dude thanks for sharing. I'm on day 3 right now and took a week off work to get through hopefully the worst of it so it's good to hear from people who already did it
Keep at it! Physical might last about 2 weeks, but you'll be fine!
Ketamine for Withdrawal
Whatever works, but I don't think more drugs to get off drugs is the right way.
Day 10 here. Was in for 5 years and got out pain free. Tapered down to 0.1mg. A crumb. Had to use tweezers to get it under my tongue. Took 4 months to get down there and the last month was the final taper (speck). It was literally unnoticeable. My poop has been loose the past 6 days but on the regular schedule only. Past 4 days I have sneezed 7 times ish a day but have felt 100%. Was digging holes in the yard all week.
Awesome, I'm glad to hear it went well for you! Taking dumps will always be a lot easier from here on out. I'm over a year now, and still shit like an animal
Just went from 8 mg to zero. On day 7 now. I don't even know how many times I roll over on my mattress all night but for me the sneezing constantly and the sweating is the worst part.
You should start feeling better within a week now! Sleep may vary, but will gradually get better. Yes, the sneezing is terrible, that will kind of go away, but will always kind of stay (not as much as now) I'm over a year off, and still sneeze more than I used to
Because we know were gonna suffer. Im still NOT GOOD. A MONTH NOW
This is straight facts. Who in the hell volunteers to suffer?
Won't be much longer!
I'm currently cutting a 2mg pill into 8 pieces. Now that it is 8 equal pieces. I'm using an exacto knife so there is leftover dust which is more than you'd think and a second grade of crumb. I throw the dust away and save the smaller grade crumb which is about 4 to 6 pieces per pill. So 8 pieces of grade 1, 5ish pieces of grade 2 and the dust I throw away. Been doing this for about 2 months and am leveled out. Saving the grade 2 pieces for the next level down. So by my estimation, I'm taking around. 10 MG a day. A true micro dose. When I test the water and skip a day, I can tell. It's not bad. My point.... go as low as you can go and don't get in a hurry. This stuff is crazy strong. Just don't stop trimming down.
Yep, that's the best way. Get down as low as possible before getting off. Good luck and keep me updated!
@SuboxoneRecovery-kd3it hey! I'm 50 hours in and feel fine. My Dr gave me .1 clodidine 2x a day and I have just taken a half pill today so far for anxiety and even a half kinda smoothed me out. Or at least got in my head that it had me covered. To me that's the worst part. Anxiety is what always makes me fail.
I entered the story with this opioid so naively, thinking that if I take no more than 2 mg, that I will not have a difficult withdrawal. For 7 years, I was delusional, thinking that there was nothing worse than heroin. Last year at this time, without any knowledge about this, I tried to get off that 2 mg and experienced hell. I was on 0.75mg for a year and before the last intake 0.5 for about 10 days. I'm entering day 9 and I can only say that it's hell in a nutshell.
I bet you're feeling a ton better now right?
@SuboxoneRecovery-kd3it Yes, you are right, a much better condition if we exclude the restless legs and the sleep that comes only in the morning hours. Two or three hours of interrupted sleep, but even that is a lot compared to the first two weeks. There is a strong will, and I think that is crucial.
Your absolutely right about that ...
Jesus help me please make it just stop is what! This is totally torture and cruel af . Omg I went from 15 yrs 3 8mg then 12mg and stayed 5 yrs but he said my yearly ekg is 158bpm and tried cold turkey my ass until the nurse prat. Said DR YOU CAN NOT COLD TURKEY HER! thank God for her . But now it's like 3 weeks in at 1.5 whatever that means ? A HALF OR WHAT ? so I've just been taking a crumb of a quarter and spit it out instead of swallow the melted shit. And I'm fuckin dying dude wtf and I'm highly sensitive on all sense. My mind is fuckin with me and I'm not medicated for my anxiety disorder nor bipolar 1 , ptsd , and ocd. Good thing I'm not or I'd be triple effed . Done that before so fuk no . This is by far the worst thing I've ever felt. Atleast I still feel... it means I'm still alive.
Just keep at it, you'll get through!
Had a friend killed herself because of methadone withdrawal, the doctor said she had it in her bone marrow, very very very bad "government" drug, stay away from it.✌️
Wow that is such a shame, yeah methadone and Suboxone are no joke. I've heard methadone withdrawal is worse, it takes a long time to get off those maintenance drugs. I'm sorry for your loss.
stop trying to get attention on utune lying about box withdrawal your deep in woods caus u don't noone hearing u talk shit to camera by
sounds like your full of it like your making up being on box cause nothin your saying happens
I wish I made it up, and didn't waste 13 years of my life on it.
