what tuning do you use for this harp? i have the same one and ive tuned it to C major (c d e f g a b c) but the notes still seem slightly off? im a beginner to music in general and cant read sheet music yet so id appreciate the help!! edit: nvm i just had to hold it right and tuned it a little more! if you have any advice I'd still appreciate it though

Oh my goodness, I came up with this same idea of colored harp strings about 4 years ago using the EXACT same 7 colors in the exact same order, but I didn't know anyone had actually made any harp strings in those colors! I can't believe I'm only just now discovering this!!

Do you know about Dusty Strings' Universal Tuning Wrench which can adjust to ANY size tuning pin? I have one, and it's amazing to use on all my different harps! It can't be used on zither pins, however, such as on Harpsicles.

Danke für das interessante Video! Leider ist das Mikro / Tonsystem wohl recht einfach, so klirren die Aufnahmen ziemlich stark, und der Klang der Harfen lässt sich nur eingeschränkt beurteilen. Die teure Salvi-Harfe scheint klangvoller. Vor allem aber scheint die Salvi viel leichter spielbar zu sein. Das betrifft auch die Klappen! Probleme hierbei machen sich spätestens dann schwer bemerkbar, wenn man mitten in einem Stück Klappen schalten muss. Das dauert bei der billigeren Harfe offensichtlich länger, und manche scheinen etwas zu klemmen - solche Stücke wären damit nicht spielbar. (z.B. die Harfen-Adaption des Präludium in C von J.S. Bach)

I've been visiting what I've missed in your past videos. This selection is especially touching as I'm a distant relative of Judy Garland. Many of my family on both sides sang and pursued music as a vocation. My great grandmother composed music which is copyrighted and played piano for silent movies. Anyway, She was born Judy Gumm from Grand Rapids, Minnesota. My family was in Northern Wisconsin and Michigan. My family and hers weren't close but corresponded every so often. My grandparents went to her baptism. A distant trip at the time. Her father owned a theatre and she with her two older sisters sang as the Gumm sisters in her father's theater and later in the vaudeville circuit. Only later was she discovered and made her way into film. Thought I'd share. Never heard this on harp. It's beautifully appropriate in recollection. 💖
