Salute to education: ZNA build brighter future for Samanyika learners
THE sound of chatter and laughter fills the air as learners at Samanyika Primary School in Nyanga North Constituency storm into their new classrooms.
The bright and modern learning facility - a three classroom block - is a far cry from makeshift tents, which the learners have been using as their learning space. Befitting, there were broad smiles on the faces of Early Childhood Development (ECD), Grade One and Two learners, who for the last three years have been learning from makeshift tents classrooms. It is indeed a new dawn for these kids and their community.
The tents were donated by UNICEF as a temporary solution to the infrastructure challenges at the school. However, they were not really ideal for learning, but still they had no option, and had to make do with them
