Nah this a stupid take ngl the first 45 minutes was the best presentation of simba , introducing scar and his manipulation, mufasa teaching important lesson that envy kid should know, simba going to the water hole and when mufasa was mad at simba, he not gonna stay mad at him for the rest of his life, what better would the movie be if they showed mufasa was a terrible father, he resembles sign of strength , you get to like mufasa because he is wise and compassionate for other but also very protective, but this guy wants to be different, obviously if your going thru something you don’t tell anyone most men bottle there emotions, unless you never had emotions , the scene where mufasa came back didn’t have impact😂😂😂 that’s stupid it was the best scene, he lost himself that scene reminded him of who he was , if he just told Nala she wouldn’t have the same impact as mufasa telling him to go back, what it teaches him that mistakes happen but there is no point from it before he found out scar killed him, they didn’t turn in him they were in shock, adrenaline is powerful thing

The shadow thing is absolutely baffling because the rigging for the model is, by default, not an object that casts shadow in the render engine. You have to manually turn that on. So either someone thought that was a good idea, or they somehow fucked up the actual shadow rendering to get *that*.
