Am I the only one that cringes when marinette is 'savage' or 'sassy'. I feel like they took her whole "I'm so clumsy and don't really stand up for myself" so far. And as far as I remember, they never gave her actual scenes where she grows out of that. So when does pull up a "oh so cool and sassy" line, it feels odd and out of nowhere. Plus I don't if it's the delivery or the lines themselves but they are more cringe than savage

I like to shove pride stuff under the rug and bat an eye, since although I am pretty stubborn with my stance on lgbtq, I genuinely LOVE this game and can’t wait for the sequel. I like to think the reason floofty is referred to as they is because floofty is kinda crazy and on one knows what they are exactly. They are their leg after it turned to strabby, had us throw acid in their face, and even tried to cut off their own head to see if bugsnax would make it grow back, and spoilers, it would probably not.

I always wondered what was running through Marinette's head when she tried reasoning with Gabriel. Back in SS4, she said it was impossible to reason with Chloe, so someone who is worse than her is also impossible to reason with, nope, she tried to convince Gabriel to become good, then lie to the public, saying he was a good guy. Then, I realized that Marinette's actions were worse than Chloe. The worst thing Chloe has done is put train passengers' lives at risk for her mother's approval. Chloe was getting better in SS2 and was the best asset to Ladybug besides Cat Noir. Even before she knew about the miraculous, Chloe still helped LB, especially in Despair Bear. If it weren't for Chloe, LB could've lost the fight. In the SS2 Finale, she was protecting Rena and Carapace, was the first to look for Hawk Moth, and in Miraculer, she was the closest anyone has ever done to get the peacock miraculous back in a fight, and she was by herself. Marinette stalks Adrien, breaks into his house, @buses her power to humiliate Lila, and has gotten more people akumatized than Chloe in the first four seasons, teamed up with Chloe to bully Kagami, then continued to bully Kagami by trying to make her lose the friendship game. She didn't pick Kagami because she was better suited for the job. They could've grabbed Chloe and let her save her parents by using venoma and getting it over with. But no, her love for Adrien got in the way of the greater good. She didn't replace Kagami like she did with Chloe because Kagami won't try to steal Adrien away from her after Mr. Pigeon 72. Chloe will try to take Adrien away from her, because Chloe cared about him, until Soul Crusher came out and destroyed everything. So after all that, of course she's going to try and reason with Monarch. They're both terrible people and characters. She tried to reason with Gabriel and lied about him, because he is the love of her life's father. She chose her love life, once again over the greater good. At this point, Marinette needs to give her earrings back to Su-Han along with the rest of the miraculous. If Zoe, for some reason, betrays her, she will only have herself to blame. She chose some random girl that she barely knows, over someone who was working with her about a month.

They will never make me like Zoe more than Chloe. Chloe was fighting Mayura on her own without help from the others and was the closest to getting the peacock miraculous, and she could've made her turn on Hawk Moth by using venom and paralyzing him, then merge the Butterfly miraculous with the bee miraculous and fight Mayura. Was it that hard to do writers, and if you wanted to make her the villain, then make her steal the miracle box and become the main villain throughout the rest of the show and team up with Lila. We knew her for two seasons, and she was a fan favorite with character development just in those two seasons and was even amazing in the season two finals. She followed Ladybug's orders, protected Carapace and Rena Rouge, even at the end, she thought ahead and was ready to paralyze Hawk Moth so Ladybug could take his miraculous, when Hawk Moth disappeared, she was the first one to look for him and found his staff to show it to the others. Zoe? She's been here for two seasons and has no development. She's hardly shown as Vesperia and when she is, there's nothing important that she does. There's no personality that makes her interesting. She's just there as a replacement for Chloe since she didn't get her redemption arc. She literally figured out how to use her powers on the first go without training, Chloe could've trained off screen, but they knew her for about two days at most before giving her the bee miraculous. Marinette, sometimes you have to work with people you hate if it's for the good of the team. You know Chloe works hard at being a hero and admired you. She was your best ally in the season two finale besides Cat Noir. Don't just choose Zoe because you think she's the perfect replacement. Give it to Luka or anyone else, people you know. Not some girl who showed up out of nowhere who could probably betray you at any moment for no reason other than you trusted her without fully knowing her. And don't you dare act shocked if she does. Chloe turned to evil because in heart hunter, you chose Kagami just to get her away from Adrien, instead of choosing Chloe, who would've worked better, especially it being her parents.

29:06 that's definitely a fun ship concept to explore than... how Marionette is written in the show. idk whenever being reminded of how stalker-ish she is, I keep thinking the writers make her get away with that because she's a girl. I know plenty of people already point out the behavior. But, sometimes her antics makes me feel like it would cause MORE uproar if the genders were flipped between Marionette and Adrian. I don't like bringing up the "genders were flipped" what-if arguement. But, I really think it fits here. I cannot imagine a male character in that series ever getting away with the things Marionette has done regarding her unhealthy parts of fixation towards Adrian (maybe they have idk I haven't watched the show in years and only finished one season before picking up interest in other stuff to read/watch). Like, there are better ways to depict the whole "character has a crush on another character" that doesn't result in making them look like creepy stalker vibes. And honestly, the way Astruc goes about shutting down any idea of making Chloe redeemable cause of the clear hate bias towards Chloe makes me think "yeah this is why it's probably not a good idea to let a hatred over a specific character stop your from making interesting subplots/episodes." Like don't get me wrong it's normal to have a character being disliked even from creator/director/etc. stand point. But, if that bias results in complete character assassination or get in the way of doing some useful writing for them, then that's already a red flag. A good writer knows when to not use their own bias get in the way of the writing and it's clear to me Astruc hasn't grasped such concept and it costed the writing in some way.

About the Chloe backtracking thing- there's a rumor that the reason she backtracked was because the episodes where she was honest with ladybug and actually broke down and seemed to be getting better were made while the maker of the show was gone. When he came back he was mad about it because apparently Chloe is based off his childhood bully. So he kind of just made them back track because he didn't want a redemption for her.

First of all, i want to precise i am NOT a SoRiku shipper, since everyone who love to ship Sora and kairi says people don't like them are SoRiku fans, it's childish and stupid. Simply i'm an anti-shipper. KH it's unique, the guardians of light are just one big family, they love each other and they have care for each other, the love they share it's pure light but also PURE. So why people are so obsessed with romances? Everywhere i go i see people talking about sora and kairi, riku and namine, roxas and xion, aqua and terra...seriously? This is not a soap opera! It's true Disney made a lot of movies about true love and couples, but in KH it's different, the bond is Friendship and it works perfectly, why they want at every cost see two people engaged? And then i just want to know why we're supposed to love SoKai. I Just Hate it! First of all, it's a clichè in many anime and manga that the hero and the heroine end up together, and it's also a clichè where the protagonists already have feelings for each other because they're childhood friends and they grown up together. it's a lazy and unimaginative way to create couples without the slightest effort. normally for a couple to work both characters must be explored so that the audience can get to know them, and situations must also be created that end up bringing the characters closer and closer. but in the case of Sora and Kairi (and in many other cases) they show us from the beginning a girl and a boy who are very close friends and at a certain point they seem to say "What else do you want? he's a boy, she's a girl, they 're childhood friends, so they're already in love and they MUST be together, and don't protest!". Kairi and Sora were very good friends in KH1, then after the first title they were practically no longer together and neither of them ever cared much about it, and now only because there was an exchange of the papou fruit and a hug in the dlc will we have to melt with emotion cheering for the two of them? It's too forced, and I don't like it. I honestly would love a great storyline and also see the trio together and strengthen their bond, romance should stay out of KH! but now thanks to the fans I realize that it is a lost cause

I agree I noticed they always leave cat noir out of the spotlight like he isn’t important they have been fighting Hawk Moth from the beginning they are a team the show is called miraculous tales of ladybug and cat noir I’m not going to be rude but I feel like they don’t know what a team is I watch sooo much superhero’s shows with team I’m very upset that Adrien wasn’t there everything is just ladybug trust me I didn’t enjoy the battle with her and Gabriel it wasn’t epic and fun at all if kitty was there 😱 it would be soooo interesting and fun to watch they need to do better watch more superhero shows and get something from it at team I was truly hoping that they would fight together at the end

I HATE the fact that Thomas Astruc totally ignored catnoir in the finale like wtf bro I thought they would fight him together and catnoir deserves to know that his father was hawkmoth. The fact that they praised him at the end and made a whole statue made me furious I don’t want it to end like that like at least the movie they found out. ALSO Chloe’s redemption… we need that they did her so dirty he even confirmed in the next season she’ll stay the same no redemption I hate this.

I’m surprised people still ship Adrienette. Post-puppeteer2 Marinette just seems predatory. Think about it. Adrien is a sheltered kid who struggles to stand up for himself and shows signs of autism. He’s never known anything other than loneliness and neglect. He’s the perfect person to manipulate. Marinette gets a crush on him, then proceeds to stalk him to find more info about him. She tries to get him to like her using the info she knows about him. It’s just manipulation. Several other behaviors she has also mirror manipulation tactics. - She isolates him by separating him from his father, Chloe, Kagami, Lila, and anyone he might be friends with besides Nino. She also spends more and more time with him, making sure he barely has any connections outside of her - She tries to make his decisions for him, which makes it harder for him to stand up for himself and get out of the relationship - She lies to him to get out of bad situations. In Puppeteer 2, she tries to cover up her being weird with Adrien when she thought he was a wax statue. Already creepy behavior, but even worse when she can’t fess up to it. - Notice how she does nothing wrong and is never called out for her actions? That’s because the story is told from her perspective. Every episode revolves around her and other characters’ thoughts are almost never explored. She believes she is the victim, even when that’s not what her behavior shows. She justifies her behavior by telling herself it’s because of her trauma - She gives him excessive gifts which makes him overlook her stalking. Very similar to love bombing - The stalking. She invades his privacy, then uses the information to manipulate him. She uses his schedule to make plans to set up the narrative that she’s this amazing person, uses info to plan gifts for his special days to make herself look good, and she uses his weaknesses to propel herself (standing up to his father which she knows will make herself look better) - She pretends to listen to him, then ignores him. When Adrien tells her it’s best to leave Lila alone, she pretends to listen at first and doesn’t do anything, but then later makes a plan to expose her for everything. It makes the illusion of trust, but then she goes against his wishes when he forgets about it There’s probably even more problematic stuff if you dig deeper Marinette gets better in the later seasons but it doesn’t excuse her past behavior as she hasn’t been shown to learn from it, and would probably do it again when the time calls. I don’t get how anyone could support their relationship Edit: I realized that some of these points aren’t valid, however this ship still grosses me out

3:18:56 that is what annoys me about Cars fans especially with Cars 2, also alot of Pixar fans call John Lasseter (the director for Toy Story 1 and 2, A Bug's Life, and Cars 1 and 2) the """goat""" when I'd prefer Brad Bird (The Iron Giant, The Incredibles, and Ratatouille) which some people think Pixar went down hill when Disney fired John Lasseter despite the fact that the reason why he got fired is because of him committing sexually Misconduct to women at Disney, which those people either don't know or they don't care because of nostalgia bias for Cars. Which I still think Cars 2 tanted Pixar's reputation and I'd rather stick with Blue Sky's Robots, 2007 Surf's Up, Transformers, and Thomas the Tank Engine than the Cars trilogy, which if I was to feature Lightning Mcqueen in storys with other Pixar characters he would essentially be Homelander from The Boys as in a bigger cocky prick than he already is just with the powers of Homelander.

In all honesty im not a big watcher for shows movies etc... im mostly someone looking after series for lore. From all these analysis ive seen i can only deduce this one is akin to RWBY. Incredible concepts, but executions that sucks so much that the Fandom mostly made up of non professional writers can legitimately and with little effort even with the most cliche conclusions imaginable, make a better and more in depth story than what they got. And hell at least RWBY had the original 3 seasons being good or at the very least decent before Monty's death, here thats not the case the flaws were already there it only got worse

Adrian was such a wasted opportunity to make him have a subplot where he finds a old journal made by his dad in which he says he gave his mother the peacock miraculous but the pages that detail what happened to her are ripped out but he finds one of the missing pages prompting him to go look for them all over Paris and the aggress mansion and he starts to put the story together and when he thinks that the mystery is over he finds the last missing page and finds out that he’s a sentimonster and breaks down realizing that he’s not even human and when he’s at his lowest nooroo on his own sends out an akuma to Adrian because the universe has made that his fate from the beginning he was going to be akumatized eventually the moment he became cat noir but the outcome is unknown it could end badly for him or good for him the kwamis don’t know his fate after he’s akumatized and now it’s up to all the other miraculous holders (yes even hawk moth) to stop him; to stop their friend, their comrade,….**their family** I would have liked that more than a character who is forced to be a useless character Also does anyone think Adrian is kinda gay or at least bi? I ship luka with Adrian more because he feels like a better fit than marionette
