Thanks, friend! I moved my shield throw build to VK and also took the reflect damage for +24 throwing. I read that shield throw was nerfed before 1.0 maybe thats why not alot playing it especially pure shield throw without smite.

Yo can you share your build i was actually thinking on doing something like that full block pure phy but i dont see how you can use smite to poc thorwing kinda new to this thanks in advance gamer

@@justkite2139 There is an Idol that has 9% chance to proc smite from a throwing attack. There are hammer/smite builds but it does work with shield throw as well. You can wear 4 of these idol so it procs frequently. You talent into smite but you don't cast it cause it just is procs from throwing attacks. I'd say the Hammer/smite is far more successful and has more synergy though.

I just took smite for the attack speed it gives when it procs (just 1 idol is enough), and its awesome.

For the VK? I'll make an update for it soon.

yes, as a movement/traverse skill. acts like an and no mana cost. alternative is shield rush, unlimited movement in a straight line and lower cooldown but costs mana. there are orobyss versions that i prefer healing hands than shield rush.

Sounds amazing, any chance to get a build planner for your Forge Guard build? Cause FG is my favorite mastery but could not make a Shield Throw version satisfyingly work and could need some inspiration. Thanks in advance.

@@drumcorpful I didnt know that planner exists to thanks for mentioning it. I also looked up the guide and still thinking if I should make it since I saw there's already a build guide similar. As for mana, my shield throw has 0 mana cost. > 5/5 on the ST passive with mana reduc > atleast 1 ring with T7 throwing dmg/mana reduc > you'll be able to allocate Forge Guard "shred fire res" passive and still have 0 mana cost Cast Sigils of Hope when your mana is above 50% so you have room to cast/recast Manifest Armor incase it dies. Cast Holy Aura during boss phases where you can burst dps for a period that you dont have to kite.

what do you mean by link? :O Ive played LE back in 2022 with smite as main and shield throw as alt. Back then some skills looks/sounds terrible but shield throw improved now so i made it for my second video.

Hey! Yea i have that scepter with 1lp but the dps is much lower than a wand or even a 5-affixed wand. Not unless you can get a 4lp Culnivar's, now that's a different story. I also joined someone at 300 and 500 corruption with the current gear. I could do 300 comfortably but at 500 i noticed a slow down but there's still room to work on.

Frost wave is already a strong starter and even stronger skill mid-late game. Fierce strike imo is still best for single target dps late game but its physical. My go-to dps is explosive slash since its elemental for single target but i dont remember if you can use blunt weapons with it.

@@Volt_Prime Frost Wave or Venom Fang (forgot what its called now). Firestorm is another good single dps and great aoe, obtained thru rare synthesis or rare rune chests.

Thats the requirement for ultra settings with HD assets installed. Also, this vid was during beta where most of the stuttering issues was resolved when it released.

Im still here :( just got busy with work since august. They didnt add a new melee skill since im a melee main but im still planning to play since Diablo 4 isnt looking too good.

While it may be a challenge using this on campaign. You can still start using this early endgame. Ive used this when I had only 1 high end link rune (mana storm) with the rest of my links still magic.

Ahhhhhhh sht. You're right. I cant believe I havent noticed that. Both Harmoy and Elem Dmg Amp should be Source. Thanks for pointing that out.

its on 3:55 but you can also use Sephdar. The one with Mental Stimulation +15% dmg amp.

I havent done much on those since most I saw do a tank build for leech. I always use Harmoy link rune for life leech. You can look up Wasted666 on YT, their discord is also pretty active.
