Season 1 Lightning Strike is now ranged but loses it's 'Melee' tag therefore red melee links such as Fighting Spirit or Grand Approach will not work.
Skill is paired with Judgment of Darkness as both are projectile based.

@@raviction Hi mate! Actually one more question: have you tried out different triggered skills instead of dark judgment? Before they introduced that one, I was already torn between charge release, frost shock and lightning chain. I guess with newly increased range of lightning strike, lightning chain does not make sense anymore, right? What do you think of those alternatives?
@@stefanb.7632 I tried lightning chain. Its still goes well with this and even better dps scaling than dark judgement. I went fire with dark judgement so i could extract fire energy. Im still working on the build, the annoying synthesis takes time (i need 1 specific link to finish testing).
Other trigger skills; I havent tried charge release. I did try Lightning wave + LS. Its kinda fun so i'll probably do a video on it.
edit: yea frost shock is another good alternative. if you can get lightning energy for status effect bonus, freeze is almost certain.

@@raviction cool mate! and thanks for the feedback :) is there any good source to learn about these "elemental energies"? they introduced them, but never really explain them anywhere. how do I get "lightning energy for status effect bonus"? Sorry, even after playing quite some hours, I still feel like a newb when playing this game sometimes :D

How much money have you spent on this build?
im using links that i use generally like "mana storm", "harmony", "find weakness". I used new leg link "added lightning damage" and leg "multishot". gear wise, same crit gear i usually use with other builds. overall, currently spent around 400 or so rubies.
edit: i craft my own gear aside from weapons that i usually buy.
how you play at pc ?

This skill has always been underwhelming for me ever since. I don’t know how to make it strong 😢
The animation is cool af. But the dmg output compared to other skills is kinda lame
It is underwhelming especially now they added 15% damage dampening on repeated hits. LS relies on 3 things; more projectiles, awakening -70 creation range and massssive aoe.
@@raviction agree! But they did increase the %multiplier of the projectiles though, so i think it is net positive in the end
Btw what’s your plan on the defense side of using L.Strike? Would you go for high barrier or hp?
I’m thinking of having lots of “hp/barrier on every hit” on the gears. I just don’t know if it’s worth it.
But seems viable esp when awakened ~70, 9x projectiles (multishot leg), then some aoe.
So there’s a probability all proj will hit right?

@@Ljls20 oh i didnt notice the multiplier increase. other people go shield but i always stick to dual wield. i cant login yet (maint), i forgot some survivablity things that can help.

So your build is for crit type, esp the Caspol Spec. Will you switche to non-crit or stay that way?
Is Dawn Spec a good option to take if non crit?

Fissure triggers lightning, lightning triggers dark judgement. So how is you mana barely getting used.
My build is whirlwind triggers chain lightning. I have 1300 mana. It gets consumed like 5 hits.😂😂😂😂
I have +52 mana on kill total so mapping isnt an issue but single target, my mana still gets drained fast. Alchemy mana potion mastery should help with some mana issues then some zodiac traits if you cant get mana solving mods on gear.
