Ive had my skx009 on the strapcode super jubilee for a long time now. I never had an issue. Its sturdy, comfortable and looks way better than the original seiko jubilee bracelet

well in my country replacing the battery or strap is worth it, as they are cheaper than the watch here.

I bought a sapphire, 38mm Red Star for $70 with AliEx coin discount, but it was DOA. After returning the Red Star, I found a Das-Tianlei (38mm, sapphire, gooseneck) for only $78.66, and it has been fine. The Red Star came in a nicer, faux carbon fiber case, otherwise they are comparable. I bought a couple extra NATO straps for it, but settled on an OD green, red stripe Marine Nationale. Less than $10 in straps.

Went to an s24 Ultra from an s10e. I thought I'd hate the size. This phone is freakin' amazing.

Just ordered a s24+ today to upgrade from the S10e. I love the s10e but the power button itself broke 2 years ago even though it still scans finger prints. I just can't stand making sure its plugged in all the time so it doesn't turn off.

I have the black rubber need to change it asap . I think the jubilee looks a bit better in my opinion. Cant wait

I've found both models for the same price, matter of fact, the j model was 5 dollars cheaper so w went for it, mine is the SKX009J1, I got a thing for the pepsies.

I personally love Vostok and it has a place in my collection, actually 2 places currently. Firstly, we are watch lovers and not military, so we should enjoy watches for what they are. As far as the war is concerned, I do not support NATO on this, they broke the non-expansion of NATO treaty first and did it multiple times and there many sub-plots at play. Russia had no option. Not saying this since I am Indian, saying this as a geopolitical observer.

I still have s10e from my old job when employer provided it to me as benefit. I was thinking about upgrade but Exynos chipset repels me - not only worse effectivity and higher battery drain but mostly signal processing - baseband modem seems to work better in Snapdragon. I'll wait for S25 and hopefully also base S25 will get Snapdragon chipset. Thanks for the comparison.

Thanks for this! I just got a 5 automatic second hand (although brand new, never worn - so they say) and was worried about this noise. I have an automatic omega that doesn't make a noise like this at all, I guess this is just what you get with a relatively cheap watch. It looks great, and keeps good time so I still think it's a nice watch for the money, but obvious you get what you pay for to a certain extent. The omega I have is a vintage Geneve. If anyone is looking for a fantastic automatic watch at a good price, I really recommend looking for one of these. It's got the same 552 movement as the more expensive seamsters, and looks great. It's just not very water resistant and being old is a bit delicate, hence getting this Seiko to wear when I'm outdoors. The seiko is great, but it's no Omega! Really no complaints for the price though.

The metal bracelet looks amazing did it come with the watch or did you get it elsewhere, would like to find one just like it cheers!

I also love my S10e, but the Power Button is not ok and longer. So Finger sensor also do not work. But a replacement has the risk, that I also need a need a new Display and that makes no sense

First of all, nice review! You have made some interesting points regarding Seiko and Steeldive. I have owned 3 Steeldives Willards, 2 were okay 1 had a very loose bezel action but reasonably aligned. I am lucky enough to have both the SPB 317 and 151. They are both extremely well made, and far exceed the build quality of Seiko 5s. When handled, the finish, handset and dial is definitely of a higher tier than Seiko 5s. However, where they fall short of the price tag is the movement. They tend to be very much luck of the draw. Out of 4 watches with 6r35 movement 1 that had to be serviced and regulated and 2 had brand new movements put in under warranty. They were running extremely poorly even out of their own fairly broad spec. Unfortunately there are plenty of similar experiences on forums and reviews. Does it worth the £880 to £1200 price tag? To me absolutely not. I have paid 450 for the 317 and about 650 for the 151. Used but like new condition with box and papers. If you consider second hand, they can be strong contenders in my humble opinion.

The rotating bezel construction is horrible. Not even a seiko standard replica. You will learn that when your replaced your crystal in case of scratches.

This is great value in thr same way thay a big mac is great value. More calories per dollar than anything else. Just like the big mac though, it's also junk, though atleast it shouldn't give you heart disease.

Yes.. I am also blown away with this watch. The value is insane and there is no other watch that is close to the value of this SD1970.

SPB151 is awesome, don't be put off by how flat it looks in pictures. The crystal has an underside dome and it's chamfered to reflect the markings like the 6105 8110, it's slightly smaller and squarer than the original and the homages but it's a great reinterpretation.

Hello! Many thanks for the video. Got my Addiesdive with the NH35 and was wandering if the sound is ok. Does anyone know will the watch work properly if I just remove the rotor and use the thing without it? So just to wind it up by myself every day.

A bit late to the party but you can get the 3 navigation bars trough good lock(or fine lock for some unsupported countryes) now. They mooved alot of unpopular features to goodlock so the main sistem will be a bit easyer to run(mainly for the cheapper devices) but if you want,you can still get them which is neat
