How do I use the brush stabilizer in ArtStudio Pro?

I love my Gelelf too, they do great picture transfers. Especially here in Australia. I couldn't get Officework laser transfers to work on my other two plates but it was like magic on Gelelf.

Hey, Tricia! I watched this when you first posted it but neglected to tell you how amazing these are. I came back this morning and watched again so I could do my own. I forgot about the bottle scribble technique you used, so it’s a good thing I watched again. I hope you are doing well and that your back issues are getting better. I really miss your videos. Your work is so inspiring to me and your videos spark a creative energy that’s hard to resist. Now it’s time for me to resist with some gesso. 😁

Hi! In the beginning of the video, within the files app gallery view, I noticed your icons were much bigger than I'm able to get mine on my ipad. How did you do this? I've been trying to figure out how to do that for months!😲

Hi Tricia, I recently got a GelElf 6x6 from Amazon, and had a terrible time getting the acetate sheets off both sides. I swear it left marks on the plate. And, it was so sticky ( and still is) - even after I washed it in Murphy's and luke warm water, and a while later in Dawn/warm water. Still super sticky and makes pulling cardstock print difficult. Also, using craft paint, the surface tension w the thin paint begins to separate almost immediately. I pulled using mainly Golden and Amsterdam paints, doing botanicals, and stencils, after 25+ prints, the plate is still super sticky. For my money, I'll stick with Gelli Arts or Gel Press, thank you. Glad it was not just me experiencing this.

How to use selection tool? I mean if we want to duplicate the shapes or mold shapes like in procreate how to do it in artstudio pro?

I just downloaded this app… I’m a Procreate user (probably not for long though after watching this video) and a ‘back in the day’ photoshop user… this was so helpful to get started!

Good video however a lot of information. I started in ASP yesterday for about three hours. I will hold onto this video until I’m ready for more steps. I tend to have to watch videos over and over again before different little bits sinking in. I will get it in time. 😁 I am very thankful you are willing to do these videos for all of us. Tricia, these demos are fantastic. I’ve done some digital art but do not feel proficient. I’ve even taken some online classes. The information you are providing is incredible. Makes me want to get busy on my iPad again. I’m going to try the Art Studio Pro for sure. I’m planning to purchase a new IPad fairly soon so will have room for new programs. I’d love to have a rundown of different apps you like unless you’ve already done that. Good luck on your back.

Hey Tricia! I downloaded FotoDa yesterday after watching this video and spent the evening putting a few things in a folder as I don’t have many pics of my gel prints on my ipad yet. It was so much fun playing with some of my digital paintings and the few pics that I gathered and some of the results were truly amazing! Thanks so much for the demo of this fabulous app.

Thank you Tricia for another informative video. Definitely will save transcript keeping it handy as I once again refresh using art studio. Thanks for the heads up on the ability to upload on the computer. I’ve been using photoshop over 20 years. Unfortunately I can no longer upgrade the O/S since my computer is old needing to replace…$$$$$ grrr and missing out on new features. However, still working . I do have all the apps from our previous classes and definitely looking forward to your review using tada. I’m hoping you get an acceptable doctors report 🙏🙏🙏 So appreciative of you sharing your expertise and teaching digital art. 😉

I hope you have a swift recovery, it sucks to get to this age, (I turned 67 in Feb) and not be able to do everything we want to do. I have 5 dogs that are very high energy and keep me moving. I don’t want to admit to my husband that getting another Aussie puppy last year was maybe not the brightest move. I love being able to sit outside with my iPad and create art. I am so happy you are back, your artwork is sooooo inspiring. Thank you. I use photoshop for masking, which one do you like?

EXCELLENT video your timing could not have been better for me, I just got my vision back. The overview of why this program is superior made an impression on me. I think I will upgrade my iPad since I am working on a mini now. It won’t hurt to have the mini as well so I can listen to your video while working on a larger one. Tricia, this is fascinating. I’m going to look at this app. You have introduced this app beautifully. I had a very old version of Photoshop and have not wanted to pay the monthly cost for the newer version. This seems like a great option. Thank you.

I was a professional photographer years ago, and I used all kinds of apps and long story short after chemo…My brain changed and I moved away from art for years and forgot about all these fun tools. It’s only been in the last couple of years that I’ve gone back to my art roots. This video just brought back a flood of memories. You said “I know this looks crazy” I said “Crazy good!” I was really excited while watching this video because my mind was going crazy with so many ideas of things that I have sitting out on my workspaces in my studio. Some background prints that I just did yesterday and some leaves that I used for botanical prints. I think these would make amazing clipping masks. Thank you so much for the creative sparks this morning! 🙂 I would love some more videos just like this one and also some short videos focusing on those apps that you use for edges, color changes, and fotoda.
