Very fun video Tricia! I do use Procreate so I am looking forward to watching your next segment too. The last pieces are often the best aren’t they! I hope to get some of these Ara paints some day (I haven’t looked into price to get them into Canada yet)
Check out Jackson Art Supply. They are in the UK but use Fed Ex worldwide and I pay around $11 USD for shipping. And they are fast. Procreate frustrates me because I grew up with Photoshop (since 1993). Art Studio Pro is my editing app of choice for my iPad. Procreate has wonderful brushes and painting abilities, but selections, background removals, clipping masks, etc, are impossible in Procreate. I do use it for painting, but keep my main layered file in ASP.
Wow! Last year I started photographing my mono prints into my iPad to use in procreate to make compositions. I even used a few of my rolloff papers. I hadn’t heard of anyone else doing that. I am so glad I just came across your videos! Subscribing!
Thank you! I actually taught iPad art classes online using my own photos and artwork for about 5 years, then became ill in 2020 (not Covid). I stopped teaching, but am now back to health so trying the TH-cam thing.
I absolutely love this video. It’s the kind of next step I’ve been looking for. I have started to use photographs that I have scanned and applying different techniques to them but I would love to do this with gel print images. I don’t have the technology background that you have, but have been very interested in starting to work with some different apps to achieve that. Can I do this sort of thing you’re doing here with just my iPad and applying new apps to on the iPad, or is it going to require mainframe computer which mine is to outdated for? If I need to invest in something else, I will do that. Thank you for posting this video. It’s perfect and I know for one I’ll be pursuing this or something close to it as soon as possible.👍🌷
Thank you! I do most of my editing on the iPad now. I taught iPad art classes until 2020 when I had some health issues. I am thinking of doing some short videos on different apps if people want. Part 2 of the video will go up tomorrow, and you will see me use an iPad. I don't think you need a new computer at all-just your iPad.
I’m so interested in a class with you to learn how to do digital art on my iPad. I do collage and work with the Gelli plate as well. May I ask what you do with your images!? Do you use a laser printer to print and then frame your prints? It looks fascinating! I’ve just purchased ArtSource Pro and I’m somewhat lost. Your videos are great, keep them coming! ☀️💫
@@TexasSageGardens Thank you! I am going to incorporate iPad art into my channel. I create on the iPad, and used to teach classes but stopped due to health. Now I am doing this TH-cam channel and plan on about 1 video a week, more if I can manage it. If I am using my digital work in a collage, I just print it out at home, and with the physical collage I will photograph it and frame it. For larger digital pieces I send the files out to a couple of companies for printing on canvas or fine art paper. I will be doing some digital videos on different apps. Art Studio Pro has a bit of a learning curve, but it is similar to Photoshop. Check out the developers channel Lucky Clan for some tutorials.
Looking forward to the digital video….thank you for sharing!
Hope you enjoy it, it should be up now.
That was so interesting…thank you so much….I subscribed 😀

Well, that was awesome and I learned some new techniques to try. I love mixing physical art with digital art. Really well done. ❤❤❤
Thank you so much!
Very imaginative designs - LOVE them! 🙂
Thank you!
