I absolutely love your style. I had purchased a 12x14 Gel plate a few months ago, but I haven't opened it yet. I'm scared of it. It seems so BIG...😊 I'm use to the 5x7 and 8x10. I enjoy your videos and love watching you work on your projects. Have a great week.
Thank you! I have a 12 x 14 as well. It’s easier to work small for me, and now that I am doing these videos, it is easier to film with smaller plates. But I do want to go a bit larger.
A lot of people leave their plates dirty to “pick up” the bits in future pulls. I find that for me I like to put my plates away clean. Gelli plates have oil in them (don’t know about homemade ones) so mineral or baby oil is a good way to clean them. I will sometimes start with hand sanitizer as the alcohol breaks down acrylic paint, and sanitizer has some moisturizer in it. Then rinse that off and use the oil. I wipe the oil off and put it away.
I spoke too soon I guess. I think Froyles stencils do come in smaller sizes but if you need a smaller design you could always use just a part of one of the larger ones.
Glad you are feeling better. I appreciate your art. Please keep making the art you love 😊
Thank you!
TriArt makes one close to it
It is nice to see you talking through your thinking process. We learn that way as well. It’s a beautiful print and thank you for posting.
Thanks! I talk to myself a lot!

Beautiful work and love hearing you talk your way through it. ❤
@@patanderson6602 Thank you!
Just found your channel! I like to hear your process conversation, prefer the natural sounds over distracting music as well. New subscriber!
Thank you so much!
Hi from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺 have you tried heat embossing when using your stamps ? 😊
Hi! You mean with those embossing powders? Yes I have some-I’m sure they would work, but honestly I forget I have them. Paint is always on my table.
I’m new to gelli printing and collage. I haven’t heard anyone else talk about ‘cleaning and oiling’ their plates. Can you tell me your process?

What is the name or number of the stencil you are using at 18:55??
That is one of Froyle Davis Dance Moves stencils. You can find them here: www.joggles.com/stencils/joggles-froyle-davies-stencils-and-masks

The stencils are just one size-She now has some papers for sale with those designs in a smaller size-I am going to purchase those soon.
To colour a stencil you could use an artist sponge to apply the paint so it doyens run under the stencil.
I need to get some of those-I also got some stencil butter which is thick and would work better. I just used what I had which was a makeup sponge.
I am just the opposite! I wish they made them bigger!! I now piece my large Gelli plates together.
Wow! I have a small 10 x 10 studio, so I can’t fit that large plate! Plus, I photograph my work and use it digitally so it doesn’t need to be big.
Love the print, your process,
your style, and the table!

Thank you so much!
This was very inspiring. I really liked the way you layered the images but also used different techniques. Thanks
Thank you!

Thank you! I had them made at Ready Stamps. The link is in the description box.
