I’m gonna be honest while I’m looking forward to the 16 pro Max I find myself questioning did I make the right decision with the fact that the marquee feature which is Apple ? Intelligence is not even going to be ready which is very strange, but I feel that Apple intelligence in general is more of a reactionary move from Apple but historically Apple have never been 1st to bring in features but I don’t know what it is but I just feel that I’m like a beta tester for Apple Intelligence with my 16 pro Max, I remember in your last video, David, when you said that Apple perhaps had to please the shareholders by bringing it out an iPhone this year even if it meant that Apple Intelligence wasn’t gonna be ready on time I know we have had a lot of the stuff they spoke about regarding Apple test before, but I think it’s probably for those that maybe didn’t watch WWDC back in Junebut overall I do think the Apple event was flat and they should’ve done more. I really wish they would bring the live shows back.

I can’t help but wonder, if this was an iPhone 15 pro S, would I be happy with the upgrades? Apple used to do the S every other year and people just accepted that it would be slightly better with maybe one new feature and everyone was generally happy with that. I think now that they have dropped that naming, we expect more. On top of that, I think they have hyped AI so much at WWDC, that also led to higher expectations and now we all can’t help but feel let down this cycle. Great chat guys; thanks!

Hi guys. I watched Mr. Mobile interview two Apple execs, and like Alex said, their excuses for iPhone features not being ready for prime time, were just silly. It was an awkward thing to watch. I imagine Steve Jobs would have been livid about the lack of innovation presented in this last Apple keynote. Curiosity question: why does Alex not wear headphones, like David and Daniel? This episode was heavy about YT content creation, sponsor headaches, etc. I enjoy this because honestly, I don't think most viewers (like me) realize how much work it is to run a YT channel. Another good one in the books, gents. Thank you.

Apple juice user here😝. I feel, that based on other cellphone manufacturers Android, may be 10 years ahead of Apple “specifically” with all foldable phones technology. Lastly, I wonder if AI Alexa would still be having Siri for breakfast 😅 after IOS 18 released. Poor Siri….

David, I don't think Macs have the infrared cameras that iPhones do. Face ID heavily uses IR, and adding the necessary IR sensor to Macs would increase the production costs. So why not just keep the cheesy 720p camera from 2006? 😆 The Pro user topic was cool. I'd never thought of it that way. But you're right, "Pro" is just a name/label that gets overused. Alex's use of the Garmin watch is interesting. I've worn a Galaxy Watch for 6 years and now I find myself just feeling like a dork when I wear it. If I'm not exercising, I'd rather leave it at home. I think I'm becoming bored with smartwatches (maybe a silly opinion, I know), but when I see someone wearing a Timex, Citizen, Swiss Army, Garmin, etc., that seems cool to me. I've gone back to wearing my 10 year old, stainless steel band, Movado. Apple's M Series processors are not improving performance at a significant rate--maybe just 12% or 15%, if that, between generations. That is due to the laws of physics. They're 3 nm chips and it's incredibly difficult to make transistors smaller still. That's why Qualcomm is catching up to Apple. It's a physical barrier. When is too much too much? Well, as a commenter, sometimes my comments might come off as being over the line, or just annoying. So if a TH-cam creator tells me to p*ss off, that's OK too. Yin and Yang. Daniel, get well soon. The topics were pretty serious, but I got a laugh when David said he can tell if he's had a good night's sleep--no smartwatch needed. 😀 I don't think The Team Pixel controversy is limited to Google. So many creators get slighted by Apple for not being mainstream. At the next Apple event, notice the creators that were invited by Apple. No rebels allowed. Can't wait for the next episode. Cheers. Note: I think the Aussie dude could use a dedicate mic, since I could not make out his words while doing chores, even if I turned the volume way up. Only when in a quiet room could I make out what he was saying. The two gents on the left sounded great. (Please forgive my criticism.)

Ah it's my favourite Sunday podcast episode. To be honest i was away when the Mr Beast controversy happened and missed most of it so yo hear your brief take on it was great. The wholse team pixel saga is overblown in ny opinion.

Good episode, I'm. It going to lie the Samsung buds are definitely of interest to me, currently my pixel buds pro 2nd gen feel like they want to fall out if I eat or sweat slightly. Still not a fan of the new watch ultra thankfully I got the 6 classic last year so I'm good for another year.

Great to see the two of you still going strong. Always an interesting listen coming from both sides. Despite being a Samsung fan Daniel is always knowledgeable wheb it comes to Apple news. Its nice to see David is still bullish on the headset but also realistic about what he could or could not use it for.

That netflix idea is amazing. As a filmmamer and content creator it could be the go to for budding filmmakers. I can see them hosting film festivals etc. We need a youtibe competitor.

I always find it interesting to hear about the different types of gear you all use to create your content and that whilst you all use different things all of your content always comes out looking great. The only time I really use time stamps, is if I have paused a video, switched devices, and my progress in the video wasn’t saved or saved correctly. It’s nice to have the time stamps then to get me to my spot faster. Another great cast guys, thanks!

I don’t really care about timestamps, if I’m watching a video it’s either good enough to watch the whole thing or not. I think chapters help with Google search as I’ve had many times where I search for a topic on Google and it takes me to a timestamps in a TH-cam video…

Great to see the three of you together again, I'd be interested to hear what Daniel's work flow is for editing his videos. For me timestamps are great to have on long videos but I rarely use them. Also cricket bat 😂

I have this to say. Apple ghosted Jon Rettinger when he published a video Apple didn't agree with - I find that to be unprofessional and borderline childish. As for Marques, Apple needs MKBHD more than MKBHD needs Apple. Marques has gone on the record to say the Apple Studio Display is a bad deal and he said the M3 MacBook Pro isn't a worthwhile upgrade. I feel that authenticity gives Marques credibility and he's out to help the consumer and not be a PR piece for Apple.

the only reason I got an M4 is because I just dropped my M2 and when I did the insurance claim, my replacement was an M4, base model, but I'll take it.

Apple wasn’t sleeping, they wasted their engineering talent , focus , time, and money on the discontinued Apple Car project, instead of focusing on innovating, developing, and improving their current products, I.e. the Vision Pro, Macs, iPhone, HomeKit, etc, all of their current products seriously need new hardware and software upgrades. If they wanted to build a car, they should have partnered with a current car maker. Imagine how much time, money, and effort they wasted. Apple clearly has money to burn.

I will out “Everyday Dad” Alex who said the Magic Keyboard was heavy. As someone who uses both I laughed too. Dude needs to go to the gym. What he forgets is that the weight creates lap ability that do not exist with Samsung keyboards. Alex, you and I are of EXACTLY the same mind. Prefer Samsung generally, but cannot completely give up Apple so I have iPhones, iPads AND Galaxy phones and Tablets. I feel like Android OEMs like Samsung push the envelope while Apple holds things back for the sake of profits secure in the loyalty of its user base. As a fellow DEX fan, Apple could literally dual boot into MacOS with a keyboard and iPad OS as a tablet and be the ultimate mobile device. Heck you could plug an iPhone into a monitor and with the right silicon run MacOS. Samsung would absolutely do that if it could, to separate from its competitors on Android but DEX is the best it can do. My inability to go all in on Android is just about 3rd party apps being either exclusive to or just better quality on Apple. Frustrated me to no end.
