Great night time footage at Griffith NSW, very impressive. A lot of time lost when running loco's around the AK Cars due to all the monitoring cables and camera leads from the AK Cars to lead loco having to be removed and reinstated add to lost time. Leeton station looks well loved, I wonder if the signal lever frame is still in side the box?

Hate to foot the fuel bill for seven loco's at over $2-00 a litre...What's the annoying clicking noise at the start of each video? Lovely variety of liveries and all EMD lash up. The 49 class didn't appear to be running, either shut down or in idle. Lovely home at 4.32, great to sit and watch trains, must be hot in summer though with no trees around it. Good compilation, well done.

Not the most attractive of locomotives, however, I miss seeing them as "assist" locomotives on the western intermodals. Looks like you had a great time covering that journey, nice result.

The actual reason for the low speed is that the Tottenham Branch was badly damaged in the November 2022 floods and was closed for nearly six months, many parts with ballast washed away. It was only "band-aid" repaired to get it open and thus many speed restrictions still apply, some as low as 10KMh apply, hardly any spot left where the former 60KMh can be done.

Does the particulate filter on 48130 work well, or is the loco off line at the 17 minute mark? It has been on there a long long time. There is video of it in the Sydney Metro system hauling works trains around in the late 90s.

Its best to run out night. The crew does not want to see the condition of the track!

Would have been quite cold in April at Bogan Gate, the train would have been heading to Tottenham NSW as Trundle wasn't receiving trains in April, Gunningbland has reopened too for grain trains (starting Nov 2023) so you might look there next visit. Pacific National stored 180 "surplus to requirement" grain hoppers in various sidings on the Tottenham branch. Interesting video, good work, keener than I am...👍
