This was kind of covered, but I think organization is important. I do kind of like the thrill of going through unsorted boxes not knowing what you're going to find, but it is nice having an efficient way to find what you're looking for if you're looking for something specific. What would be nice is if they had a digital catalog of all their records that you can search. When the store gets a record in, they can add it to the database and store it away in the back if needed.
@@toddsflorida YES almost like a card catalog at the library- that is a great idea! Thanks for watching and for your input S.M. ❤️😁👍
How about a service where you bring in your records and they clean them for you 😊 - good topic btw - thanks for sharing!
I would love this service! Thanks for your comment and for watching!😀
Fun episode! One to add to the list is adding Goldmine grading on used records-and actually follow the grade. It would save buyers so much time and build trust with them.
Your right Louis V - not many stores use Goldmine grading - I only personally know one store that does it loyally and that’s The Music Exchange in Tampa 😁 - that’s for your comment- will catch up with you soon!
Also the Jeff Healy Band especially for someone who likes Stevie Ray Vaughan he was a fan of Jeff’s and they did a great version of Little Sister together
Yeah Blue Rodeo is a great band and a great bunch of guys who are great musicians. My brother came home with 2112 and I loved it and my brother told me to leave it alone and I didn’t listen and I got a beating for that haha. I had to shovel a lot of driveways to make money to buy another album 2112 because I played it a thousand times and I wore out the album cover haha. Ive seen Rush in concert many times, first time at Maple Leaf Gardens. Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Big Wreck, Big Sugar, Triumph, The Band, April Wine, Rush, Gordon Lightfoot, The Guess Who, Sarah McLauchlan, Shania Twain, Bare Naked Ladies, BTOed the singer you were talking about is the bass player Fred Turner. Tragically Hip are a great band, I think it’s a band that you need to listen to to get a better understanding of their music. Max Webster, kim Mitchell, Saga, Streetheart, Chilliwack, Doug and the Slugs, Goddo, There’s a whole lot more great Canadian bands but that’s some off the top of me head.
Here are my Favorite s: Neil Diamond Greatest Hits - whole album! Van Morrison -Brown Eyed Girl Zac Brown- Toes, Knee Deep, Chicken Fried The Outfield- Your Love Eagles- Hotel California Four Non Blondes- What's Up B52's- Love Shack Cher- Heart of Stone, Jesse James James Taylor- Fire and Rain Jimmy Buffet- son of a Sailor, Pirate Looks at Forty, Come Monday, Margaritaville
Great tunes to drive by!! I will add these to the channel road trip playlist- you’re the best for watching and providing your inputs and supporting the channel!! 😁😊
Joe Lynn turner was not in bto, the turner was c.f. turner, bass player/singer.
@@kennethkrause6366 lol - so true - you are not the only one to point that out - Larry has been in tears since he said it 😉
@@goldenimagemusic when you had burton cummings on there he mistakenly said that was randy bachman on stage with burton but no bachman was in bto at the time of that video . after the guess who broke up .
Book of Love’s self titled debut album “Book of Love” (1985) is greatness!! First to last songs are all hits! Now this was dance/ club music back in the day, but was melodic, fun, and had different stylized songs yet in the same overall genre…GREAT party album!👏👍👍❤
That sounds fun - I will add it to the channel playlist!! Thanks for watching and sharing 😁👍❤️
Pretenders "Pretenders"
That truly is a good album - I will add it to the playlist! Thanks for watching 😁
Lots of fun! Going to put all these in a playlist and put them to the test for my next road trip!

Have so much stuff at home, but Molly Hatchet I don´t know yet, really like it so far and will check their songs out. Easy living from Uriah Heep (mega song) Metal bands like Priest, Maiden, Accept, Metallica never get old to me, always can listen to their older till end 80s stuff (different with Guns n Roses, need more time between when listening to their great songs) Hairmetal/Rock like from Ratt, Skid Row, Dokken, Fastway,QuietRiot, BonJovi, Cinderella always works for me, these mid 80s to beginning of the 90s. Can run these mp3 cds in my car endlessly. Journey also working really well
Awesome picks - will add to the list!! Thanks for sharing and watching 😁👍❤️
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah ahhh !!!

Rush Exit stage left is the best sounding live album i have. Have the foghat but YYZ sounds amazing on ESL .
I completely agree - as an avid Rush fan and collector - that album stands out as a phenomenal live performance!! A must have for any Rush fan for sure 😁 Thank you for watching and for sharing 👍😊
A few not mentioned Paul McCartney and Wings -Wings Over America Kinks- One for the Road Ted Nugent - Double Live Gonzo Cal Jam 2 - various artists Pink Floyd - Pulse The Who - Live at Leeds The Rolling Stones - Get Your Ya Ya s Rainbow - On Stage
You know - you are the only viewer to mention Uncle Ted - Even I forgot about double live gonzo and it is a great album!!
Maybe SANTANA, or Elton John.
The Santana debut is very good - excellent album to jam out to!! Thanks for sharing 😊👍
Cheap Tricks first album not a bad song. Also Blue Murders debut!!
I had to look up Blue Murder - Carmine Appice on drums - very interesting- so much music - so little time 😒 - thanks for sharing !!
The Who Live at Leeds !
@@betamax2090 good suggestion- another viewer mentioned this album as well - I dusted off my copy to listen to again and you’re right this one rocks!!
Any list of perfect albums has to include Montrose's debut.
I completely agree - I wore that record out (twice) - hard to find a good copy these days! Young Sammy Hager at his best! Thanks for sharing!😁
How about The Beatles, Please Please Me? They changed music. I also love the Kinks, another trail blazing band.
Agree on both Glenn!

Ramones - Ramones The Clash - The Clash Never Mind The Bollocks, Here's The Sex Pistols Television - Marquee Moon Wire - Pink Flag Buzzcocks - Another Music in a Different Kitchen X-Ray Spex - Germs Free Adolescents
You guys pick some interesting topics - love your channel- good point on the AC/DC shout out - even though the first album was TnT with Bon Scott - most people put Back in Black first - here is one to add to your channel playlist: Robert Plant and Alison Kraus - Raising Sand - excellent debut with superb sound and every song is a masterpiece- the follow up album is great too! I think that is hard to find, but not sure about that.....
Thanks, Todd. I just ordered it.
Captain Beyond (1972) is about as good as it gets for a debut album. Blue Oyster Cult’s debut is pretty good as well.
Great picks - I added these to the channel playlist - thank you for supporting the channel!😁
About a second before you mentioned the first album Boston I said they have to include Boston.
Yeah this list would NOT have been complete without Boston 😊
Of course!
It's not rock, more like jazz fusion. Pat Metheny Group
I must have at least 15 Metheny albums, so I am very on board with that selection. Lyle Mays was a great collaborator with Pat
Goods job guys! Enjoyed listening and picked up a few good recommendations. Hey, how about The Beatles and Ple ase Please Me? That's a great classic!
Please Please Me is a great debut! Thanks for watching and for the call out!
Perfect album - added to the Playlist!
I wrote that comment and then read Eric’s comment.
Iron Maiden - Rock in Rio Judas Priest - Electric Eye and even Epitaph When I listen to these 2 bands I ALWAYS pick these concerts, much more dynamic and powerful as the studio stuff The only band that always sound great to me because they are so close live next to their studio stuff would be Placebo, they always perform great. Metallica also great live or studio 99% I´m a studio album guy Michael Jackson, Guns n Roses, Bon Jovi ... all are nothing for me live, specially Bon Jovi. I love their stuff till Young Guns and in parts Keep the Faith, but I never could listen to them live
That Iron Maiden live in Rio is excellent so is the Flight 666 DVD and CD where they reenact the entire Powerslave tour in 2009! Live after death is good - especially the concert version of the Flight of Icarus - totally awesome- I am with you on the studio stuff for the most part I will take studio just for sound quality - thanks for sharing - great comment - I am going to pin it 😁 - we have more fun stuff on the way like our latest video- be sure and subscribe if you haven’t already- this way we can stay in touch 😉
@@goldenimagemusic you also know the 2 Priest concerts? Mega, true pure Heavy Metal
Here’s a few others: Funeral - Arcade Fire, Music from Big Pink - The Band, Please Please Me - The Beatles, The Chirping Crickets - Buddy Holly, The Byrds, The Clash, August and Everything After - Counting Crows, Dire Straits, The Doors, Foreigner, Beauty and the Beat - The Go Gos, Dookie - Green Day, Jackson Browne, Lynyrd Skynyrd’s debut, If You Can Believe Your Eyes and Ears- Mamas and Papas, The Marshall Tucker Band, The Ramones, Can’t Buy A Thrill - Steely Dan, The Velvet Underground & Nico, The Blue Album - Weezer, The Who Sings My Generation
I really like some of your call outs. Beatles, Byrds, Dire Straits, The Doors, Foreigner, Jackson Browne, and others. But Steely Dan Rich!!!!????
WOW! You covered quite a landscape here! I added as most of these to the channel playlist - Thank you for being a subscriber and supporting our channel 😁
Debut Album of AMERICA, also my fav album ever and I´m normally a bit more on the Hardrock/Metal side
America was very good.
@@larryketzes5582 specially Debut album, it is also my demo Album (Japan edition) soundwise when i have new listeners to my rig, it really has an amazing guitar Sound, specially Sandman
I wont tell anyone 😉 - good selection - prompted me to break it out this morning and listen - Thanks for sharing!!
All Things Must Pass…. period
Excellent choice - adding to the playlist!
Although that is Harrison's third album, not his debut. Wonderwall Music and Electronic Sound came out the years before All Things. I look at All Things Must Pass as his first 'Good' album though!
@@larryketzes5582 His first REAL album just like i call “Plastic Ono Band” John’s first REAL album.. Dammed if i’m gonna call those 2 naked virgins with the lions and the wedding album with Yoko screeching real albums. 😂
Some I would add: Pearl Jam - Ten Counting Crows - August and Everything After Weezer - blue album Emperor - In the Nightside Eclipse Opeth - Orchid Metallica - Kill ‘Em All Crosby, Stills & Nash - s/t Wilco - A.M. Dawes - North Hills (Don’t put these in your playlist if they aren’t your cup of tea. Just my two cents.)
Great choices- I haven’t listened to Counting Crows debut in a long time- adding them to the channel playlist!! Thanks for sharing 😊👍
You had Todd at Opeth!

Foreigner is a great call out. Ian Mcdonald was s founding member of that band on Sax

You guys would be great radio talk hosts. Also, I completely agree about the Meatloaf album. All the songs are great and unique.
Your right that Meatloaf album is gold! Thank you for watching and for your comment!
Hi Guys Great Subject my Fav Albums are Thin Lizzy Live and Dangerous Kiss Alive Iron Maiden Live after Death Judas Priest Unleashed in the EAST Iron Maiden Live in japan Led Zepplin how the West was won
What a great call out for How The West Was Won!!!!
I’ve got a question. “The Band” / The Last Waltz…would that be considered a live album? One of my all time favorites!
Hell yeah!! Great suggestion!
You touched on all my favorites I’m 66 and I grew up with all these albums back in the day. I always thought they sounded great. I didn’t know any different. But how about Lynyrd Skynyrd? “One From The Road” P.S. I subscribed. I just thought of this, Grand Funk has two live albums I really like.
Thanks for subscribing! Also, I'm not sure how we neglected Skynyrd. Big time should be on there
@@larryketzes5582 thanks for the correction at the end. If Yoko Ono is an E… ELO has to be moved up to a D. Back in the day we used to tell everybody when we listen to George Thorogood, our neighbors listen to George Thorogood. Along those lines I lived in a small town, and I actually had a funeral director who had to come over to my house “more than once” to ask me to turn my music down while they were having their funeral. I kind of feel bad about that. Kind of.
@@Bo-hb3eo thanks for subscribing to the channel and for reminding Larry and I about Skynyrd! Out of the 100+ comments you are the first to mention it 😁❤️🇺🇸
OK, the objectively, infallibly true greatest live album ever that fit perfect in this video is: Strangers in the Night by UFO. My brother bought the album when I was in 5th or 6th grade. That thing rocked me right through High School, College and retirement. They were a good band in the studio, but I never really noticed them until they put that live thing out. It often shows up alongside Cheap Trick at Budokan and Frampton Comes Alive. Great video and great channel despite this clear failure. And PS: Running on Empty really doesn't belong on this list. It's just too much of a studio album in my opinion. It belongs on a unique concept album maybe, but that was a stretch.
Hi thanks for your message- your are not the first person to suggest UFO - we have added it to the channel playlist- I tend to agree that Running on Empty is a concept album even though is was recorded on the road it is not live proper - stay tuned for more fun!!
There is so much tension right now. Waiting to see if you mention the ACTUAL greatest live album of all time. Halfway through, still not mentioned. I'm not going to be happy...
In addition to what we covered in the video there are nearly 100 comments with additional albums- hopefully SOMEONE pointed it out 😁
So...give a hint....
My fave live albums: Kansas - Two for the Show Magnum - Marauder (incredible sound) Queen - Live Killers Thin Lizzy - Live and Dangerous Judas Priest - Unleashed in the Studio... oops I mean Unleashed in the East Rush - All the World's a Stage The Who - Live at Leeds Deep Purple - Made in Japan Genesis - Seconds Out Duran Duran - Arena
Very nice round up!! That Live Killers album was my favorite when I was young- will be checking out that Magnum album - I think I have the Duran Duran - need to check 😁 - thanks for sharing 👍
Nice list. If you are a Queen live fan, I'd check out Queen Rock Montreal, and Queen Live at the Rainbow. Thanks for the great list!
