- Welcome back! After kicking off the new channel with a 3 Part Road Trip video, we felt it was only fitting to follow-up with a RSD discussion. We have been going to Record Store Day events since it's inception in the early 2000's.
In this video, we reveal list prices for the selections that we felt stood out amongst the LARGE selection of titles being offered this year.

Well I would say but we have a few issues with the way they run things and our RSD post-Mortem video will have a little rant in it and we don’t want to anger anyone 😮
I have a set list of records that I want to score no matter what, about 5 or so, and some that i am on the fence on. Would you pick up the David Bowie if you see it?.
That David Bowie release is very plentiful AND here is the best part - it’s also being released outside of RSD - get in line at your favorite store (early) and jump on that Bowie release- good luck 👍
Assuming the Gandalf and Amboy Dukes will be allocated to one copy per participating store what is your strategy in obtaining them since they are must haves?
A good point - for the Gandalf release I will likely do what I did with the 13th Floor Elevator release for RSD- wait for someone to hate it and sell it to me later (it’s an RSD first anyway)- on the Amboy Dukes - it’s another RSD first and will be released to the GP soon- as mentioned I have an OG Promo copy of that record In pretty decent condition so all is not lost!! We are really trying hard to overcome the FOMO of RSD- it’s not easy 😳
@@goldenimagemusic Just because they are both classified as RSD First does not guarantee that they will ever see a wider release. One can only hope.
