Yeah Blue Rodeo is a great band and a great bunch of guys who are great musicians. My brother came home with 2112 and I loved it and my brother told me to leave it alone and I didn’t listen and I got a beating for that haha. I had to shovel a lot of driveways to make money to buy another album 2112 because I played it a thousand times and I wore out the album cover haha.
Ive seen Rush in concert many times, first time at Maple Leaf Gardens.
Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Big Wreck, Big Sugar, Triumph, The Band, April Wine, Rush, Gordon Lightfoot, The Guess Who, Sarah McLauchlan, Shania Twain, Bare Naked Ladies,
BTOed the singer you were talking about is the bass player Fred Turner.
Tragically Hip are a great band, I think it’s a band that you need to listen to to get a better understanding of their music. Max Webster, kim Mitchell, Saga, Streetheart, Chilliwack, Doug and the Slugs, Goddo,
There’s a whole lot more great Canadian bands but that’s some off the top of me head.

Idiots like me - for some reason I had no idea that Steppenwolf was Canadian until we started digging- obviously Rush - figured we would highlight that - Larry introduced me to Blue Rodeo who I didn’t even know much less know they were Canadian 🤔 - thanks for watching- maybe we do bands that you didn’t know were from The Island of Dr. Moreau 😳😎

This was a very disapointing video.Too much time spent on Rush and Blue Rodeo, They should have dived a bit deeper. Where was Tom cochrane and Red Rider, Arcade Fire, Bare Naked Ladies, to name a few.A few errors, which are pointed out below.

Hi - thank you for the honesty- the idea was obviously to highlight some of our favorite Canadian bands and then I truly wanted to test Larry’s knowledge by revealing videos he needed to guess the band - so we will get better (another words we are not quitting our day jobs) - would it have worked better if we ran through a number of bands first and then save our favorites to last? In future videos we plan on doing the “what are we listening to this week”segment to the very end and get right into the meat of the subject- feedback like yours matters because in addition to having fun we also want you all to enjoy what we are doing as well - don’t loose faith too quickly- we have some fun stuff on the way and we will be certain to watch the copyrights and get our damn facts straight 😮 - btw bare naked ladies is a decent band and we should have covered them - please stay tuned!!
