Eisenhauer Stirling Hot Air Engine - Rockingham Tool & Mold
มุมมอง 1739 ปีที่แล้ว
This is a Stirling style hot air engine that I built. Every piece on it I made except for the glass test tube and 2 precision ball bearings for the crank that are located in the bearing block. The last picture in the video shows a standard BIC lighter next to it for size comparison. Enjoy!

Textured Stippled Magpul PMAG 30 Magazine
มุมมอง 2.3K11 ปีที่แล้ว
I got a woodburning kit from my local Wally World and attempted to stipple a Magpul PMAG with it. The kit was $9.00 and it worked very well I think. It sure does add a crap ton of grip to the magazine. The first tip I used was a fine point tip and I think it left a finish that was cooler looking, but it took a lot more time and effort to use it. I switched to a 1/8 diameter full radius tip and ...

    It looks great, it would have been nice to see how it works and maybe some plans (at a price) I think a guard for the belt and the saw blade might have been a good idea, arms and legs are useful for getting about :) :) :)

    Why on earth did they make the shell plate retention bracket out of plastic, my one has snapped in 1 place, never used, just hope its still going to do the job, or maybe super glue it together! Screwed overtightened by factory

    Thanks for the video. I'm using the Pro2000 for 38 and 45 (and am set to use it for 44 also) but hadn't considered reloading 9mm. Now that ammo is so scarce, along with other shooting supplies, I'm likely to start, if I can find a 9mm 5-station shell plate. To me, the Pro2000 is still the. best (and safest) press one can buy. Nice video - so fast, so easy.

    Kool mill. Now that I'm more crippled I wish mine had a seat to ride on. How does that forklift do in the off pavement? I know they do well on gravel ,but never seen one in a sawmill environment. I've needed a forklift for a long time , but haven't built or traded for one yet.

    Since it's a hard tail, I'm surprised you didn't make those struts a couple inches shorter, to put the rear fender directly beneath the seat? Also, why put "Cafe Racer" in the title? Better to just call something what it is, rather than try to pull other people in to view something they might not like. Nice bobber though man, congrats!

    I'm new to reloading and the first pound of powder I bought was Alliant Unique; also have 1000 115gr FMJs on order. How many grains of Unique do you like to throw for 115gr FMJs? I'm going to by some manuals of course but was just curious what your preference was. And that is indeed a sweet press.

    heck yeah man awesome bike! I'm working on bobbing mine out right now as well. I've gotta make some hardtail struts like you did and mock up a fender. what did you mount your taillight to under your seat? did you put a small piece of metal just under it and bolt the light up to that?? and also how much did that fatter back tire cost you? thanks in advance man.

  • @coburnlowman
    @coburnlowman 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    Nice. Looks plenty stable. If the axle tube isn't a thick heavy gauge it could bend sticking out so far. We have a twin axle trailer that hauls a medium size tractor that the springs sets about a foot inside the Hubs. All 4 tires are getting swayed out from the axle shafts bending at the springs. But it's a great looking machine and the I beam deck will stand up to a lot of use and the occasional dropping a log on it. It looks like it's probably a fresh build. The slow return will kill tons of useful time. If y'all can get it returning really fast it'll surprise you how much of an increase in production you'll see in the same amount of time. I love seeing homemade stuff made from salvaged parts and materials that can compete with expensive factory machines. KEEP it UP👍💯
