Thanks a lot Charlotte, it’s a long awaited video from you. My first ever placement will start next week and I was so nervous and your video make it eases a lot. ❤❤❤
I'm so happy that my video helped you! Thank you for suggesting it :) Good luck with your placements! It is such a great opportunity!
All the advice and guidance for placements 🥰 it helps to hear others go through the same feelings - these tips are great Charlotte 🥰
Thank you so much Faye! I totally agree that it feels better to hear you're not alone in your feelings and experiences!
Nice Video Idea!! The three things on my impossible list would most probably be finish my nursing degree, swim a sub 25 second 50m and play a sport at the olympics😂😂
Amazing impossible list! I love that it encourages us to dream big and work hard :)
Do we go through ace even if we don't want to do the netp?
I'm not entirely sure, I think if you're not wanting to do NETP then you just apply for jobs independently, but with all the changes happening with NETP next year I'm not sure if this has changed - my best advice would be to email the ACE coordinators and ask, they are pretty good at replying quickly! The email is: nursing@acenz.net.nz
i love watching your videos their very helpful especially the OSCE one ! so proud please continue vlogging as its very helpful for nursing students ❤
Thank you so much lovely! I am so so glad that you're finding my videos helpful! It really means so much to me :)
Thank you very much. BTW, The TH-cam subtitles are overlapping with your white subtitles.
Thanks for watching, lovely, and thank you so much for pointing that out! I hadn't even thought of that :)
Ive never really thought about this, but such a lovely idea! I think i just plough through things without thinking about them, but this is a much sweeter way to complete achievements ❤
I'm definitely a list girlie haha! Thanks for watching, Faye! xx
Your hair looks gorgeous! Such a nice colour on you! My impossible list at the moment is: 1. Finish my nursing degree 2. Travel to Europe 3. Buy a house
Ahh thank you so much! It's my first time colouring it a bolder colour :) Loving your impossible list, you've totally got this!
What are three things on your impossible list? 💖🧚♀🌸
hi can you please able to share you resume and cover letter for netp i bit confused
Hi lovely! Thank you for supporting my channel! I share them and go through it step by step in my netp videos on how to write a cover letter and cv! Hope this helps :)
Can you tell us how much can new graduate earn pleas and how many week can get for annual leave ? Thank you
Hi lovely, as new grad pay varies depending on where you work, I would definitely recommend checking out the careers.govt.nz website for clearer information! Once you've been working at a place for a full year, you are entitled to 4 weeks annual leave. Hope this helps!
it looks so easy 😂
Our OSCE definitely was because of covid haha, still a lot to remember and learn all the skills fresh :)
Wow
Thanks for supporting my channel Hamza!
Interesting video
Thank you Hamza!

Thanks for watching!
I can't believe it's been 6 months???!!! Wow! That's flown! This is a wonderful video and so genuine ❤ I'd be so happy if I had you as my nurse, you'd make me feel so safe and comforted 🥲❤ mistakes happen, I'm so proud of you for managing it so professionally ❤

The scenery is so beautiful 😮😮
It really is! I’m so grateful to have this as my garden ☺️
Hi Charlotte, I have always had good grades in anatomy and physiology, but the thing is, I forgot most of them after the exam, which made me a bit worried. Do you use them a lot after being a registered nurse, please? 😢
Hi lovely! Thank you for watching my video, I completely understand what you mean because this was me with pharmacology! You do use anatomy and physiology quite a lot, but I would also say that once you're working or doing your placements, I find that you'll remember things easier and for longer because you have the practical experience to support your knowledge. Another thing to remember is that when you're on placements or in your first nursing job, your colleagues will be really aware and understanding that you're new and still learning, and won't judge if you have to ask questions or for help. So try not to stress! You're doing a wonderful job and will be an amazing nurse xx
Oh sweet girl you sound so poorly 😭 im so glad you take the time to do somwthing nice for yourself and yes getting outside makes such a difference ❤ oh my goodness, thank you so so much for sharing my channel 😭 I adore having you on my journey woth me and im so grateful I get to share yours with you too 🥲🥰

Thanks for watching! Good luck for your next placement!
Is vegetarian food healthier compared to non veg?😮
Hi lovely, thanks for watching - I think this question would best be put forward to a dietician or your GP as it is actually quite complex. Everyone is different and so needs different things to nourish them, you would have to take into account what non-veg or veg foods you were eating, how much, when etc to properly answer this question, which I am unable to do. Sorry that I can't help more!
Professional 🎉
Thank you very much!
Here and watching my friend 😍❤👌🏽
I’m so grateful for all your support Faye! ☺️💖
Interesting 😮😮
Thank you Hamza! ☺️
Hi Charlotte 🥰 SO sorry ive been a quiet subscriber lately, I've just finished nursing school - finally! So now i have a few weeks off to be more present 🥰 another fantastic video that will help many 🥰

It is frustrating that the netp program is being paused in hospitals - hopefully they will re-evaluate!
Hey in the netp coordinators section, if I am choosing Health Nz , then I have address all 5 netp coordinators ryt?
Hi there lovely! Yes :) You address all netp coordinators listed for the region of health NZ you are applying for (eg: for Health New Zealand - Te Toka Tumai Auckland, there are 5 coordinators listed, so you address all 5 of them). Hope this helps!
Nice work charlotte
Thank you Hamza!
i relate to your videos so much thank you! congrats on becoming an RN :) I've got one semester left 😞
Thank you so much for supporting my channel lovely, it means so much to me! And big congrats on being almost there - you've got this and I'm proud of you!
I still have a notebook like yours for blood test results and other wee reminder things. I have been a practice nurse for 6 years, proir to that was rest home after graduation, and I'm still learning! I feel your pain with the task box!, but I love practice nursing.
I love this so much! And that's so reassuring to hear because it does get difficult when I start comparing myself to my colleagues and how much knowledge they have :) I am loving practice nursing and feel so grateful for getting this as my job, so the task box is worth it hehe
@@charlottemiriam you will do well!!! (ps I still compare myself and I'm nurse lead 🙈😂)
Is it true that new graduate RNs are not getting hired in NZ?
Hi lovely, not entirely! In hospitals I think from next year they will be pausing the new entry to practice programmes, which is the new graduate program you do for assessments and extra support in your first year of nursing. So new graduates will still be able to apply for jobs and get hired, but it won't be for entry into the NETP program, which kind of sucks :(
Hi Charlotte, I love your videos! I am really wanting to go to RN school but I am hesitant to because I feel like I might fail. Do you have any advice to get over that fear? Best wishes from Buffalo New York USA.
Hi lovely! Thank you so much for supporting my channel :) I totally understand where you're coming from as I also worry deeply about getting things right and passing. My best advice is that sometimes you just have to do it and push through! I went through a hard time in my second year where I had lots of self-doubt and I fell behind, I really wanted to drop out, but pushing through led me to an amazing third year and now my career! I also think talking to others really helps because they can give advice or new perspectives, and working with others - I had a group chat with a couple of nursing school friends where we helped each other through. My last thing that has helped me since high school is making study schedules, because I feel like it calms me down as I feel more in control of the situation. When I do that, I know exactly what I have to get done and when, and it makes me feel more prepared. If you're worried about falling behind, you could start off with a small study schedule prior to starting just to brush up on some basic anatomy and health, so you walk into nursing school feeling a bit more confident. I loved Lecturio (which has a free platform) - they do bite sized videos which explain health topics really well so maybe start with something like that? Sorry I know that's all such bleurgh advice but that was what genuinely helped me through :) Nursing school is a roller coaster ride but I am so grateful that I did it, so I hope you're able to go and start your nursing journey! You're so capable and I know you can do it xxx
@@charlottemiriam Thank you so much! I am looking into different avenues I can take to become an RN in the States. You only need to have 2 years of school to be eligible to take the NCLEX boards and I already have a lot of prerequisites done for my bachelor's degree in psychology. I am applying to be a nurse's aide so hopefully, that will give me more experience. I really appreciate your encouragement. Best of luck on finishing your diabetes seminar it seems really interesting.
Awesome work Charlotte!!
Thank you so much lovely! I really appreciate your support :)
Heyy cutie , im a new watcher and i just want to say congratulations on graduating and becoming a registered nure; so amazing, lovely! I applied for nursing at AUT but i did not do sciences at schhol- bio chem or phys - will that be bad for me? Im a little worried that my lack of knowledge in those areas will cause me so much trouble. Am i fine without taking these important sciences?
Hey lovely! Thank you so much for supporting my channel! I really appreciate it :) I always tell people not to worry if they haven't done any science in school - at uni, they will tech each paper from scratch, under the assumption that it is entirely new information to everyone. There is also a mix of students, like some people will be returning to uni after a career change and may not have come straight from school, so the lecturers kind of have to teach everything from scratch anyway! I think the most important thing is that during the semester you put a little bit of time aside to study for your papers, and then you will be totally fine :) You've got this!
Thanks for the Videos very helpful,Good on you keep going. Can you make a video on how Non-Science students can cope with the course?
Thanks for watching and supporting my channel lovely! Thank you for your brilliant suggestion - I'll definitely add this to my filming schedule :)
Thanks for your kind video. You are such an angel nurse🫶🏻

@@charlottemiriam Hi, Charlotte. Btw What app are you using for flashcards? I forgot the name.. I've already downloaded a few apps that you recommended. I also like the "I am"👍 Thanks Have a good day🌸
It's called Anki! :)
Hi, Charlotte 😊 Thanks for your video on your journey in nursing from scratch. ❤It helps me understand about it a lot. I will be starting a nursing at university next year and was wondering if there is any specific reason you chose AUT. I am considering which university to choose among AUT, UOA, and Massey.😅
Hi lovely! Thank you so much for supporting my channel and a huge congrats on starting your nursing journey! I chose AUT because I got the impression that it was less competitive and slightly more hands on than other universities, which suited my character and way of learning. My second choice was University of Auckland because of the quality of teaching you get there. Hope this helps!
Interesting video 😮
