The Problem with Food when you are Autistic/ADHD
Surely I'm not the only one that ponders the 3AM existential question of "Can I eat bread and butter for every meal?" Surely if ducks can do it, we can too!
Also, please don't feed bread to ducks, it's bad for them. Just give them the lettuce in your sandwich instead :)

Nothing like offering some quality, unsolicited advice to people, only for them to be all "Nuh-uh, I'm gonna do the opposite!" Big thank you for your patience! This was a looong break, way longer than the algorithm likes. Also, you look great! Have you done something with your style? How many of us are also autistic bc i really think i have both plus anxiety and maybe some adhd .. It's a lot but i struggle to hold a job at all. Not sure how these other OCPD ppl are being "miserly" unless they are much more functional at working. Bc with what money are you "miserly"? Lol my social awareness skills are a mess. I don't get ppl.
I love that this doesnt have background music!! (ASD, OCPD, ADHDer 😅)
I've been misdiagnosed with ocpd for 2 years... Turns out I was just an autistic girl with depression
She’s the “angry” subtype of OCPD. I’m the “people pleaser” type, and I don’t get angry as often as she states that “we OCPD people” will.
I have the punctuality obsession and one way that I have found to work with or around this is to set an alarm for when I need to get ready to leave to go some where. That way I can feel like I can still do something beforehand and as long as the alarm lets me know when to stop, I can relax and get other things done.
I think my boyfriend has this. I had suspected it from since the beginning we started dating and I have books about it too, and a lot of what he does is in the books The other day, I told him that one of my students gave me a pen and since he was needing a pen in his kitchen, I told him I would give him the pen and he told me that he doesn’t know if he could keep it in that first, he has to look at it to see if it goes with the rest of his
7, 11 and 13. These I can relate to and it really helps me understand myself so much more now. It's amazing how we can not even be aware of the things we do. Thank you for this video. So helpful.
I am so appreciative of your videos eden! I havnt been diagnosed with ocpd but after watching several of your videos I feel like you and I are the exact same person. I am obsessed with psychology, so much to the point I am unable to complete the certifications I have strategically set out to finish. I ALWAYS have too many tasks to complete at any given time that I seldom complete in a timely manner. My hubby is on the spectrum. I dont trust peoples reactions when im not looking at them directly. Where did you come from? My therapist says im extremely self-aware because of the the excessive amount of self-help books ive read. lol
Oh wow.. this helps
How come it feels like I do all of them .. is the eve some degree to it .. if u do all or you do one or two
Wow I recently came to know about this . N this is so relatable 😢
Stroman Trail
Isn't this just adhd? What's the difference?
hey! Just found your channel, From what I know expressing and understanding emotions or difficulty expressing empathy is not a major symptom of OCPD and maybe it manifests only for some people with OCPD?
Some time ago i had an appointment at psychiatrist. He told me i had OCPD. Every point in this list is about me! I'm so shocked and have no words. Woow, we are so similar
Trying to purchase a new digital piano is proving to be difficult for myself
ahh 2 mins in vid and revealing me apparently after my doc diagnosed me with ocpd and me looking up the info for 2hrs straight is also a trait and i doubt if thats comman cause the world would be then wasting alot of time
Oof. being driven by productivity almost exclusively is exhausting. I have to sort of schedule in downtime and not be so critical of myself if I'm not being productive.
Thank you so much for creating this! It's hard to see the positive sometimes with having OCPD and ADHD, because those positive traits can also drive me (and others) crazy. Also some ADHD traits can "cover up" some OCPD traits like with noticing details and money/spending. Anyway, thanks for your content!
OCPD+ADHD=Hell
Very relatable video and topics raised..
i've been absolutely devastating myself trying to figure out how to get through the clutter! thank you so much for this video!!! this is exactly what I needed! 😭😭 I'm ready to try again

If faced with a woke person suffering from Trump Derangement OCPD you will discover a very special kind of Hell,
If you are talking with a progressive with OCPD who claims to love democracy while simultaneously telling you to shut up if you speak. You will discover what He’ll is like.
If you talk with someone who claims to love democracy while claiming you are a Trump supporting Nazi, you will discover what Hell is like.
If you are sad when someone who is being criticized complains about discovering what Hell is like you may have OCPD.
If you have OCPD those around you will discover what Hell is like while you feel nothing but disappointed in others for questioning your authority when they wustion you.
If you are either someone who expresses feelings of sadness and then discover they link this sadness to YOUR faults and inadequacies, you will discover what Hell is like.
If you see someone in favor of democracy who then denounces your freedom of speech, advocates hatred for anything different from what you believe, you will discover what Hell is like.
There is a high correlation between hatred for conservatives and this disorder, and with a correlation with discovering what Hell is like.
If you are with someone who enjoys torturing you, you will find empathy towards them is impossible and you will also Discover what Hell is like.
If you are interacting with someone who sticks their fingers in their ears every time you express an opinion they disagree with and then criticizes you for having the audacity to question them, you will discover what Hell is like.
If you are interacting with someone who sticks their fingers in their ears every time you express an opinion they disagree with and then criticizes you for having the audacity to question them, you will discover what Hell is like.
If you are dealing with a far left maniac who looks at a presidential candidate as a threat to democracy and seems disappointed that the candidate in question escaped assassination not once but twice, you will discover what He’ll is like.
If you have been brought up to respect freedom of speech and to place love for friends and families over rules, regulations, suppression of opinions that differ, you will discover what Hell is like.
When dealing with someone who is a “progressive” whose politics are their religion, you will discover what Hell is like.
If faced with someone with Trump Derangement Syndrome snd you are remotely normal and don’t share their weird moral rigidity and lack of ability to have a normal conversation, you will discover what Hell is like.
Anybody with OCPD triggered AF by the Ioud-ass, chaotic music?!?
It’s so hard to find a therapist in the uk that’s affordable that knows a lot about this disorder :( I just want to get better
Sorry to say, but the music is too much.
<3
Being this disorder is rare...why do you speak for others. Use I statements...your reality belongs to you only.
Kudos to you for encouraging constructive criticism…Takes a lot of guts when you have OCPD.

Hey Eden, I’m hoping you still check your comments once in a while, my question is: do people with OCPD, know they have it…? And how would someone go about ..say, showing them this video ??? A co-worker for instance??
You talk so much it gets to the point you’re drowning out.
Thank you so much, could you please share the support groups link
Learning about OCPD reminds me of my time in high school. I used to procrastinate a lot because I really struggled to focus on schoolwork and so when I would have assignments that were due last minute, even if I got some of it done, I wouldn’t turn it in. If they were done half-assed and wasn’t done exactly how I thought it should be done, I just wouldn’t turn it in because it wasn’t good enough.
