As far as painting goes...painted models look way better than grey plastic, so you are already ahead of the curve. To get better you simply need to paint more. You got this!

Think I’ll be getting the army box. I was really debating SBGL or FEC when I started last year but the fell bats and wolves look rubbish IMO. Think I might just have a huge skeleton horde instead

I'd like to go more in-depth in a future video but I'm a big believer as a teacher that you cannot overload too much information at once, especially for beginners. In the future I'd do a video that looked at some of these tactics, but with specific on the table scenarios/case studies that could be examined, let me know what you think about the idea. 😁

100% want this army box. If I never have to build the old Grave Guard again, then it'll be too soon. Mostly excited about the Vampire Lord on a Steed, however. And Vhordrai. Honestly, all of it. Re: the deathrattle skellies; the issue with them was primarily the brittleness of them, specifically the legs. If you didn't cut the sprues in a specific way, the legs could break from the pressure. If they can fix that, then yeah, they're pretty easy to assemble.

As a Lumineth player myself I love this faction, also as a Warcraft fan I've painted mine in Blood Elf coloc scheme , black cloths, red armor and gold trims, (they are both crystal addicted high elves after all) . I'm really curious about the upcomming water spirit, it's deffinatly going to be a horse based on their icon and helmets.

So, here are my thoughts. First RIP Idoenth. I doubt GW is going to follow up the big range expansion/refresh of Gitz and Soulblight with a similarly big expansion for Idoneth, which is unfortunate because I really think they could use it. We'll probably get a new hero, their faction-specific Manifestations and, if Idoneth players are lucky, a single new non-hero kit. As for Nighthaunt, I'm not expecting much out of them either. I suspect we'll see much the same as Idoneth, a Hero, a terrain piece and HOPEFULLY a replacement kit for Hexwraiths. After all, Black Knights, the old Soulblight unit that the new Barrow Knights are here to replace, were built from the same sprue as Hexwraiths. So I'm really hoping that means we're getting a similar replacement for Hexwraiths in the Nighthaunt release, assuming GW is going to completely axe the kit they're built from. For Khorne, my ability to make a prediction is a bit trickier. Because on the one hand, now seems like the perfect time to give Khorne a big range update. After what happened with Korghos Khul at the end of the Dawnbringers series, it's a very good opportunity to give him a unique model, but at the same time. . . It feels a bit too soon for that to happen imo. I'd have expected this to happen 6-8 months later than the timeframe you projected. Plus, I'm not sure what else Khorne would need or want besides some updated proportions on their existing units. But I'm not a Khorne player either, so. . . Feel free to tell me Khorne players. Now Kharadron is something else I agree with you on. They NEED a range expansion badly. They have SUCH good lore, but GW have barely done anything with their range since its launch. So beyond the Terrain piece I'm sure we'll get, I'm hoping for at least 1 more infantry unit and at a new Skyvessel. It doesn't have to be a Krontanker(a transport ship "ten times bigger than an Ironclad") but they need something more. Flesh Eater Courts(ngl, I thought the tease was for Daughters of Khaine when I saw it). I'm not expecting much out of them, this feels like it'll be a bit of a "filler" release with a new hero and nothing else. I'd like to see more, but they already have their Faction Terrain and Manifestations, so I'm keeping expectations nice and low. Finally, the teaser of THE FUTURE. I thought it was Bonereapers at first, but seeing the Hashut iconography has made it pretty clear that Chorfs are back and in a big way. Which I'm here for. It is the "Hour of Ruin" in the lore after all. So it only makes sense that a lesser Chaos power like Hasut would be empowered by the rising tide of Chaos's dominance in The Realms. As for how I want to see them play/look on the tabletop. I want thick walls of tough but slow infantry backed by columns of artillery, with Hobgrots and Bull Centaurs on the flanks. And maybe some artillery packing war-trains straight out of Total War with some of that excellent AoS flare to them. But what do you think of my predictions? (maybe I'll come back in 6 months or so and see how right/wrong I was)

Great video! I personally won't be picking up the army box, or any of the new stuff, really. Because as much as I like Soulblight, I already have too many other models and projects to get through before I even *THINK* about another new army.(unless GW releases that Malerion faction) I'll say this though, Prince V. and the Revenant Draconith are SICK models! I also love the lore behind them. Since once 3rd edition established the Draconith species as the "True Dragons" of the AoS setting, it was always odd to me that the "Zombie Dragons" of Soulblight Gravelords and Flesh Eater Courts never really had anything that tied those in with the Draconith. But now that's all changed! I love how Prince V.'s Draconic mount is essentially a Dragon Necromancer that tried to betray Krondys and Karazai so he could make his own empire of undead Dracoliches after Kragnos nearly wiped out their entire species. I also appreciate how both characters are marked by acts of defiance against their rulers and suffer the consequences for it for all eternity as a result. And no matter how defiant both may have been, Prince V. in his attempts to eliminate Nagash and Shordemaire's attempt to establish his own kingdom, both are now eternal slaves to the will of Nagash. Prince V. is forever bound to the Crimson Keep, and Shordemaire's dreams for a kingdom of his own will forever be denied to him. It really hammers home the theme of the Death Grand Alliance as a whole, that every member is granted the secruity of eternal undeath, all they need to give in return is their freedom.

I want it but not sure if i should get the army box or spearhead

I built the original Soulblight spearhead box which came with the old skellies. They are all 3-4 pieces + loadout, they're really easy to build and have some options to mix them up so you don't have exact copies in your boner horde. The new ones, if they're going to be pushfit might lose that a bit. I don't see them making 40 different poses ^^;

I am feeling the same at this point, and follow the process of quitting Gacha Games. I also liked that you talked about the concept of energy, and not just time/money as most people do! Dealing with Gacha, and especially resisting the FOMO and concepts employed there is exceptionally draining! I am so tired of Gacha, or maybe even live-service games in general, at this point! There are better Games to play, and also better things to do in life, i believe! The Fact that my favourite game (Opera Omnia) was Shutdown, like most SE Gachas at this point, makes it only worse! I love Final Fantasy for 20+ Years now, but these games are nothing but a disease! I hope you do well, without the Gacha!
