As a currently employed policeman in a large metropolitan agency for going on 26 years, I can say with confidence that “Bunny Colvin’s” character is what we call “Real Police”….without a doubt. He carries it like real police, talks like real police, and certainly thinks like real police. Real Police take real responsibility for their beat and will do ANYTHING to make their beat better for their citizens. Real police take the time to get to know every person and every face living in their beats, just like Bunny. Criminals don’t have an administration questioning their every move, but we the police, have general orders, operational guidelines, governing guidelines, politicians, and restrictive policies that hinder our ability to quickly solve any problem. Metaphorically, we’re required to do our jobs with one hand tied behind our back. Every single policeman begins their career with the goal of making a difference while following all of the rules and never compromising the boundaries set by our administrators and general orders. In the beginning, we all believe that it’s a simple battle between Good vs. Evil. Most policemen spend their entire mediocre careers taking one step forward and two steps back. This is exactly why most policemen finally give up and stop caring after about 5 years on the job. Frustration makes them difficult to speak with and it’s why most citizens feel that the police don’t care. But there are a few of us that become what other Officers call “Real Police.” We operate in the grey between good and evil. We’re willing to use some of the same tactics as those we arrest, to rid our beats of the violence that torments our citizens. Real Police have figured out a way to live 20+ years of our careers “in the grey” without getting killed by the criminals and not being caught and disciplined by our administrators. It takes an Officer that’s willing to put in the time to study the laws, agency guidelines, and the code of the streets, and then be able to recite them just as a preacher would recite the Bible. Once these things are committed to memory, Real Police weave their way in, out, and between the rules to be the most effective Officers in their departments, all the while staying out of trouble. We spend a lot of time alone on our beats and we only trust other officers that have PROVEN their loyalty to the cause, but that’s the sacrifice we make to do the job better than most. That’s Bunny Colvin. Real Police.

[clapping] Bravo, excellent video. Jimmy's message to Nucky the moment before the assassination attempt had me really confused too. The only thing I could think of was the serious awkwardness Michael Pitt communicated through his awesome acting when Eli put him on the spot during that conspiracy meeting they had with Al and Lucky.

Clay Davis is a classic street politician. Always on the edges of an indictment 2 step ahead of local. Feds got an eye on him because when needed he is a useful asset. State they want no parts of him because he got a gun to use with 8 bullets and he knows where bodies are buried. every state has a Clay Davis.

i did a little research on the real Rothstein, and i was surprised to find out that he was only five feet tall. No one seemed to tower over Michael Stuhlbarg in the show, so the "midget" crack puzzled me until now.

Modern day Robin Hood. Robbed from the kingpins and gave back to the people. Had a code unlike the majority of people in the game. Kinard went from being in awe of him to seeing him as weak and you only have to slip up once. RIP Michael K. Williams. He discovered Snoop and gave the world an abundance of incredible characters and experiences.

Self flagellation is still a practice of Roman Catholics I should know i am one Those who suffer in the body are done with sin 😂 Although Christ changing us within has got to do with true repentance from the heart and not a physical trial or change only a spiritual one 👍

The most important question is whether or not you think Nelson has ever banged his wife. All kidding aside, Nelson was the embodiment of everything wrong with religious people. The hypocrisy, the constant sinning, the lying.
