the gritty feel of the suit is what made it go up the list of my favorite suits. plus that yellow lens adds realism knowing that this was just a homemade suit and he used sunglasses for the lense.

Spider-man 2's webswinging feels so bad honestly. With the wind tunnels and upward air gusts you move through the map way too fast way too easy. The map goes from feeling like a living city to an arena of buildings that you fly over in an instant. The speed increase is nice, but it's rendered pointless by the fact you can do literally anything and shoot to top speed with little skill at all. Swing assist 0 sounds like a really good solution, but without more control over where you want to swing from, it just feels clunky. After the honeymoon phase, I was super disappointed with the game.

What really wierds me out about the nitpick of Spider-Man taking a call with Aunt May while fighting Electro is that this is an actual plot-point from the Lee-Ditko run on 616 Spider-Man. Peter handles it the same, he's in the middle of fighting some mobsters, so he locks himself in the other room, makes a casual call to Aunt May, and continues his fight. They frame it similarly, too, it's meant to be comedic. Actually, y'know what, it happened again. Another one of the criticisms was just a factor of Peter's character FROM the comics. In Ultimate Spider-Man (the original) Peter DOES use his powers to play sports. Peter's a part of the Midtown High basketball team for a bit in Ultimate. If memory serves, Peter comes to the same conclusion here as he does in the comics, too, not necessarily that it would give his identity away, but also that it's unfair

On confirmation : It wasn't that tombstone just became aware of Spiderman's existence in that moment, it's that he finally had hard evidence. - rumors and vague descriptions are very different from a video, now they have a photo they can circulate so goons, or hired guns know who to target, lowering any chance of miscommunication and unnecessary messes.

I love the darker colors and eyes, having no belt brings it down a bit but it's still the best live action spidey suit. The texture and web shooters make it better than Tobey's in my opinion

More than cinemasins, he is trying to be Madvocate. I see it due to him pretty much replicating his style, clips and thr "Web him" repeated constantly. Madvocate does these same critics in CW's Flash. But Madvocate actually makes valid points in his own video, while this guy tries to replicate him without understanding how Madvocate's video actually works

About the helicopter scene, I think there’s a better answer: Peter’s move didn’t take out the tail rotor, and Pete could already see whoever was chasing him was an expert pilot. Since the chopper was disturbed in a very open area, Spidey likely assumed the pilot could correct himself, especially since the tail rotor was okay. And he was right- the heli is perfectly landed, as Montana likely saw the situation going fubar and decided to scrap the mission. Rather than a parachute, he landed the heli, got out and left.

You and everyone in the comments continue to mention this idea that he thinks that Peter was supposed to be perfect and not make any mistakes. That's not the point. The point is that Peter makes those mistakes, and the show doesn't REALIZE it. The show, and by extension the writers, don't realize that their main character is severely flawed. The flaws are never talked about. There are rarely ever any repercussions. There is no mention of the things that Peter does actually being flaws of his. There's not even any lamp shading, or any hint that the writers know that Peter is flawed. The show just straight up doesn't know Peter is flawed, and doesn't at all think that he is making mistakes. S.K is right in this regard. The reason he's mad at the show for making Peter so flawed is because there are zero repercussions, and there is no mentioning of his mistakes (in the midst of action scenes specifically). It's almost like the writers believe that what Peter is doing is completely normal Spider-Man behavior, even though he is being completely reckless. "Oh but Uncle Ben!" His death had repercussions. It changed Peter's perspective. This is a terrible comparison. I do agree with a lot of your other points though. I like S.K, but it does seem like he's pretty jaded, and doesn't really seem to like... fun. Spectacular is a really fun show, and super entertaining. Though it being a kids' show doesn't excuse it from critiques, it also really depends on what those critiques are and the reasoning behind them.
